Skikkelig bra hotel med kjempebra service. Kort vei til sentrum (med bil) og masse muligheter. Maten i hotel er litt varierende men på et bra niveau.

Morsomt og annerledes hotell. Deilig uteområde med lite basseng og kafe. Alltid forfriskninger i resepsjonen.Vennlig ohg hjelpsom stab. Ligger svært nær The Grove.

De ansatte var vennlige, rommet stort og velutstyrt, men nabolaget var 'skummelt' - særlig for en som ikke hadde med bil og som i påvente av flyavgang måtte oppholde seg i og rundt hotellet nesten et døgn

Hotellet er moderne og med god standard. Flott utsikt fra takterrassen (med restaurant og basseng), men servicen der oppe vare elendig (hyggelig personale, men de surret med bestillinger og var umåtelig trege). Prompte service på valet parking (og bil bør man ha i denne byen)... Kan absolutt anbefale hotellet, men det er ikke spesielt sentralt (men hva er nå det i Los Angeles, der attraksjonene er spredt utover og man uansett bør ha bil?).

Nice clean room for the price. Friendly and helpful staff. If I would be in an area I would stay there again.
"too noisy, rude employees"
I stayed here several nights. I was greeted by a surly clerk who barely spoke English. Each time I encountered him he hid behind the counter, and if he looked up at me, he said "Yeah," instead of "Hello" or something friendly. The two other clerks I saw never said a word to me. Sometimes they were busy talking to the police. There were two other big […] problems: the walls are extremely thin and I could hear everything my neighbors said. Especially on the first night, this was a problem, since four people checked into the same room at 1 a.m. and turned on loud music and began to party. I called downstairs and the clerk did call them... their phone rang immediately and I got to hear half the call, in which the guy said they weren't being noisy. The other problem is that the a/c and furnace unit does not have a fan setting; it turns on and off all night, and when it's off, you might as well be staying in your neighbor's room. If they are talking or watching TV or snoring, it's as if there's no walls at all. Other than that, the bed was comfortable, and the maids did a fair job of making it. The location wasn't near the freeway, but it wasn't far from civilization, either. Parking up front was limited, but there was more in back. Les mer

"quick stay for the week"
The room was clean, the service was prompt and simple. Checked in and out without problems and would definitely return again.

No bells and whistles here, just a nice clean place to stay. Close to old town, Pasadena City College and Paseo Colorado.
"Run away FAST"
I should have taken heed of the previous reviews. The common areas of this hotel are absolutely filthy. The first night, there was the most discusting stink in the hallway. Kind of like really rotten garlic. I just don't understand how they could let this happen in a place of business. The room itself was less than decent. Lumpy mattress, funky grout […] on the bath tub tile, a coffee pot carafe that was not made for the coffee maker so it did not function properly, the wrong size coffee portion for the machine, a broken iron, shoddy repairs, filthy windows, next door to a car repair place that starts very early using loud, pneumatic tools and what the heck was with the lace curtains? Honestly I don't see how they deserved any of the the fancy plaques for excellence that they displayed. The worst was the stink in the hallway. Run away and don't look back. If I could have afforded it I would have just cancelled and taken the loss. I will never stay in another Travelodge. This is a very poor reflection on their name. Les mer

"Very good!"
I had an OK time in the hotel, it was a lot better than I expected. Parking was not a problem for as some earlier reviewers mentioned but the remote control to the TV was kind of broken. The battery cover wont stray in place so I had to hold the cover down each time I wanted to use it. Other than that, good atmosphere and the room I stayed was reasonably […] big. Les mer

I had a great stay at the Travel Lodge. The room had microwave, coffee pot, ice box and the room was clean. I thought the price was great!
"Bad Smell ."
The room had a water leak in the ceiling could hear it drip all day and night. Mgt did nothing about it. Room had a bad smell . Not enough parking for the guest. The Free breakfast was real funny..had a old mustard container with grape jam in it. Cutting down on the cost of little packages for the guest I guess. Only toast and cold cereal. "Travelodge- good stay overall"
Good stay overall. Stayed about a week. Clean and good location. Only problem was on a saturday night...was a bit noisy due to the neighbors next door, but the hotel really can't control that. Overall: very good stay and would highly recommend. Safe parking and nice employees.

This was a tough choice for me and I was very worried about the place since I had never been to the Los Angeles area. Great location with access to major freeways, close to everything. Also, the room was in tip-top shape, very clean, very warm and inviting. Staff was always couteous and making sure everything was acceptable during our 3 night stay. […] Very accomodating. "Clean and Basic"
This hotel is cheap, clean and very basic. The meager free breakfast includes frosted flakes or raisin bran, oatmeal, milk, orange juice, coffee or tea. It is located on Colorado Blvd. a few miles east of old Pasadena and only two blocks from the Hilton. The air conditioning worked, the water was hot and the bedding was clean. What more do you need? […] After all, they all look the same once your eyes are closed. It is a good alternative for a short cheap stay. Les mer

Hotel was clean and the bed comfortable. Bath towels were thin and few, the shower drained very slowly and the sink faucet was on it's last legs. But overall a good value for the money
"LA Experience"
Hotel was clean. Cleaning crew was very nice and accomadating to my family and myself. Location was great. Had highway access and close to where we needed to go. All in all it was very comfortable and clean. The price was great!

I had a nice breakfast, the room was clean and nice, and the location was pretty good (close to Caltech). The walls seem somewhat thin in this hotel though. I could hear loud TV from upstairs for most of two nights I stayed here. Somewhat disturbingly, I also heard a loud person shouting about violent things on another night. Nothing came of it though. "Peeling Bathtub paint"
The bath tub had been painted to "fix it" according to the staff. Well the paint was peeling, you could take off inches each time you showered. I wouldn't let our kids take a bath in that. When they offered us the only other available room it too had the peeling tub paint. Since other place were booked up we were stuck.

Cheap. Nice location. Got all what I needed-microwave, mini fridge, cost, convenience. You can't beat the price. Cons-you can hear footsteps from the floor above.
THe hotel is oaky. my only problem was that we had a i guess you would call him a tenant. keep voming to tell use to quit being loud even though we werent,... was anoying.

"Ok... For the money"
The continental breakfast left alot to be desired. The room was comfortable and we slept well in the beds. It was also pretty clean. We loved having the microwave and refrigerator in the room. I didn't like giving a deposit at the beginning of our stay but I gave it in cash and got it back at the end of our stay without an issue.

"Pasadena Travelodge - Not great for the price"
The room they gave me was cramped. There was a living room area with a couch and table that took up 90 percent of that area. The bed was ok. However, they had an old fashioned tv with grainy reception for ALL the channels. I was there for only one day so I didn't bother having them fix it. The shower knob was broken and I could't get the hot water. […] So I just took a quick cold shower. The window facing the street was not soundproof. I heard the loud trucks and motorcycles passing by. I couldn't take it anymore and slept on the couch where it was quieter but it started to get real warm and the loud noise from the air conditioner was just as bad as the street noise. In total, I must have gotten 3 hours of sleep. I guess you get what you paid for. I will not come back for any reason. Les mer

"Travelodge"
I feel this hotel was nice. When I first arrived I did need to have them fix the AC in the room and the bathroom light. They did this very efficiently and promptly. It was nice for the money spent. And the area in nice very close to the west side of colorado blvd where all the shops are!

"not my best experience"
I will not be staying at this property again. The staff was minimally helpful. I needed an ironing board, there was an iron but no board, I had to follow the staff up the stairs after asking for it to make sure that I got it. Walking around my room barefoot I stepped in two puddles of water, one between the beds and one at the base of the air unit. […] When I informed the front desk they gave me two towels, one for each spot. Not we'll check on it...and so on. The floor remained wet the for the two days I was there. I asked to change rooms but that was not possible according to the front desk staff. I do not recommend this hotel. You are better off at the Howard Johnson or Sheraton down the road. The extra amount is worth not having to deal with the problems. Not my best experience. Les mer
"East Pasadena for the night"
Older hotel revamped several years ago. Cheaper than most in the area, but too expensive still. Room smelled like it had been a smoking room even though it was non-smoking. No shampoo or other typical amenities which was really surprising. Fixtures were cheap and rusted. Overall it looks like management is really scrimping. Also morning breakfast was […] awfully minimal, awful coffee, no fruit, etc. Seriously not keeping up with the competition. On plus side, good quality mattress and newer towels. Les mer
