Hadde et veldig trivelig opphold. Generelt godt fornøyd med hotellet som hadde et flott badeannlegg. Også positivt at det gikk gratis buss til The Strip hver halvtime. Turen tok kun 15 min. På den negativ side må det sies at det ikke var rengjøring eller bytte av håndklær hver dag som på vanlige hotell (1g på 7 dg), men man kunne ringe og få rene håndklær i løpet av dagen. I tillegg var det stusselig hvis man var uheldig og trakk det korteste strået og måtte ligge på sovesofaen. Den var ikke god å ligge på, og ødela veldig mye på helhetsinntrykket av et ellers supert hotell. Gjør også oppmerksom på et ekstra gebyr pr dag som kommer i tillegg til alt annet.

Rent, pent hotell (laminat på gulvet og ikke teppe!), helt greie rom, raske heiser. Fordums 50-talls storhet med Flamingoer i bakhagen. Enkelt, greit og billig hotell. Det er dessuten ikke så stort, så du bruker ikke lang tid fra resepsjonen og opp til rommet (andre hotell kan det jo ta 10 minutter).

Hotellene på The Strip har stort sett god kvalitet. Vi valgte akkurat dette hotellet fordi prisen var god og fordi det ligger midt på the Strip (har bodd på andre hoteller i utkanten av The Strip tidligere - og da har det blitt mer trasking). Hotellet er bra, og har ingen problemer med å anbefale dette, selv om jeg ikke er sikker på at vi velger det neste gang (er mange bra hoteller i området). Veldig fin utsikt fra de rommene vi fikk :-)

Allerede fra start, fikk vi en flott mottagelse. Vi hadde bestillt IKKE RØYK. Hotellet beklaget at til den prisen vi hadde bestillt var alle "ikke røyk rom" opptatt. Men de tilbø oss umiddelbart et rom på "diamond floor" som erstatning. Hotellet ligger litt tilbaketrukket fra Stripa, og dermed unngås mye støy, men du mister ikke utsikten. Frokosten som var inkludert var god, men kunne vært litt mere variert. Eneste man kan utsette på, er at det er vegg til vegg teppe på alle rom. Men det er det så og si på alle hotell i USA, med noen unntak. Det positive er at det ligger tilknyttet til hotel PARIS, meget positivt. Rabatt kuponger var det masse av, som fungerte på det meste av opplevelser som:Show, utflukter, barer, resauranter, m.m.

Det meste er overveldende i Las Vegas, inkludert dette hotellet. Vi var utrolig fornøyde. Stort og flott rom! Kan anbefale både frokost og middag på Grand Lux Café.

"Not the best, not the worst"
Luxor typically has lower rates then surrounding properties and I think of it as the "Wal-mart" of the strip resorts. Just a one night trip for us so there wasn't much incentive to go big and blow a bunch on a nicer hotel. Apparently we were given a free "upgrade", we found this out when on checkout morning we tried the jacuzzi tub in the room, it tub-ed […] just fine but didn't jacuzzi (jets were out of service). The front desk told us all of the jacuzzi tubs in the hotel are out of service and then sassed us saying "well you DID get a free upgrade...". They never told us about an upgrade and the room was similar to what I booked, also there is no signage anywhere about the tubs being broken. What were we upgraded to exactly? We asked for a later checkout so we could go use the pool instead and they told us we were out of luck! You get what you pay for and we got a reasonably low rate compared to other properties for the night so...it is what it is. On the plus side you have easy access to Mandalay and the rest of the strip. Fine and for a short stay the hotel is alright too if you want to save some money. Don't forget to ask what is included in your resort fee, otherwise they will skip out on giving you the free drink coupons that you're entitled to and free entry to the night club (which is...okay) and other coupons and privileges. I would say it's average and not a bad deal if you look at your room for what it is, a place to sleep. Les mer
"Great for young adults,not mature adults"
The hotel was beautiful! The elevators were a bit scary and inconsistent. We got great rates, but there were lots of young adults, drinking and partying (as the young do). If you want to meet young people, party, and have fun, this is a great stop. If you're a bit more reserved, you may like the more up-class hotel-casinos (Bellagio, Aria, Venetian, […] etc.). The onsite restaurants were nice (Mexican, a buffet, another nondescript place that was great for breakfast, and a food court w/ a Nathan's, McDonald's, pizza place and Original Chicken Tender. I did not see any of the shows or exhibits in the hotel (Carrot Top, Titanic, Bodies, Criss Angel. Overall, I had a terrific time, though on my next trip I would stay somewhere else just to get a different perspective. Les mer

Was surprised I was charged a daily resort fee in addition to the accommodations fees already paid to Hotels.com. Was also suprised there was not wireless internet in the room or area - had to connect via wired service,

"The Luxor"
This hotel needs renovation desperately.

Stay was not what I expected..they charges for everything..nobody works together there..valet wants u to tip for parkn' ur car..then another for pickn' it up..bell wants a tip for unloadn' ur luggage..then its another bell who brings it to the room..the LAX Club has no direction at all..no line..just whoever they decide to let in..being a guess there […] means nothing..will not stay there again.. The hotel was really great for the money. Great bar, shows, and casino. The very annoying thing about the hotel is the crazy amount of people who look and appear like they work for the hotel, but really are just trying to sell timeshares. We could not walk anywhere in the hotel without being hasseled by them. The maid service was terrible. We checked […] in at 3 on wednesday and noticed the room next door had a tray of tea and a banana peel. It was not gone the next day even though maids came so we called and requested them to pick it up. Even after calling it was still there two days later when we checked out. Ewww Les mer
"The hotel lobby stinks of cigarette smoke"
Considering the stink of cigarette throughout the hotel and the noisy drunks in the corridors, I would never go stay in this hotel ever again!! There are many other better choices on the strip.

There were stains on the sheets in the first room they put me in. I moved to another and there were cigarette burns on the bedspread and more stains. I slept in my cloths. I wanted out of there so bad I left for the airport four house early. This place isn't dirty its run down and old. Also while the price my look great on hotel.com when you check in […] there is a resort fee the hotel charges. This place is a dump and not worth your time. Les mer

Excellent stay
"Can you knock?"
The maid walked into our room twice with out knocking. Onec while sleeping and once while getting dressed. Complained at check out, was giving a comp for a meal. The room itself was not all that clean, found things that were not suppose to be there. Will not stay there again even at a cheap price.
"Not as good as I thought"
I expected Luxor to be a much better stay, while the location on the strip was good, the hotel experience was not. The staff was unfriendly, room service was costly and took almost an hour and a half just for a sandwich. I also found a piece of chewed gum on the floor next to my bed. Hotel is superb, and most unusual (pyramid), and lobby, casino, bars and restaurants are top-notch. Room was clean and nice, but not luxurious.

"Luxor Hotel Nightmare"
April 2012 We had an terrible stay in the Luxor Hotel, we stayed with 4 persons in 4 rooms, cockroaches everywhere in bathrooms and bedrooms, we stayed 1 week in the hotel and the beds had no fresh linnes in that week. The internet connection was not working however we had to pay 15$ a day for this. We stayed on the 2nd and 3th floor, the rooms on the […] 2nd floor where ment for handicapped people and the view to a concrete wall or cooling machines in front of your wiindow. The rooms should be refurbished already 6 years ago! The noise at night was so loud that you could hardly sleep, Rooms where situated above the rear entrance, fighting and drunk people almost every night and no security. Les mer

"Disappointed"
Dissaponited... our room was booked way to far from the elevators and when asked to move they said to call the next morning. Our room was old and killed a few roaches on the table. The a/c didn't cool the room good very low air flow even on high... not staying here next time.

"OLD, Run down,"
Kinda a letdown. The elevator vibrated more than the roller coaster @ NYNY! It truly was a scary ride up elevator 4B. My room 14014 had spider webs in the windows, peeling wall paper, no control knobs on the HVAC unit (that was set to coldest) woke up in the middle of the night freezing! The staff did bring me 2 blankets @ 130am very quickly, that was […] nice. The fan in the bathroom was very loud and annoying. Overall, the property is just starting to show it's age some. Les mer

"Luxor needs updating"
Employees were very friendly and helpful. Room was pretty tired, both A/C's didnt work when i arrived and i had to wait 3 hours for someone to come fix them. No wireless internet, did have wired internet but not in a convenient location. Elevators were noisy, some of the cal buttons on the floors didint work. Casino area pretty worn out, looked like […] some construciton going on so hopefully they are going to make some much needed upgrades Les mer

Great stay for both us adults and our two teenage kids. Very enjoyable.Beds were clean and very comfortable. All good.
The clerk Michael Hunt told asked me if I had any relatives or friends I could stay with here in Las Vegas because my room was given away. I told him no and how can my room be given away because I had already paid for it. He continued on as if he had not said anything completed the check-in process. He did not say he was sorry for the mistake or anything. […] I felt the whole experience was bazaar! I did call to speak with a manager and did not get a call back, I felt disappointed the rest of the night!!! I would not stay there again because of poor customer service. Les mer
"Smoke gets in your eyes... and clothes and luggage"
Requested a non-smoking room. Unfortunately the designed of the Luxor is such that all the cigar and cigarette smoke (allowed in the lobby and casino area directly beneath rooms) drifts up and is sucked into the room ventilation systems. The first night I woke up at 2 a.m. thinking my room was on fire! Throat was sore, pillows smelled. Three nights […] that I might as well have been sharing the room with a smoker. After traveling home, I unpacked only to relive the smoke smell on all my clothes and luggage. I won't go back to the Luxor for sure! Recommend another hotel for non-smokers. Les mer

Enjoyable stay, though the room rate increased on Monday morning, due(I was told) to a convention being in town. I thought there were ALWAYS conventions in town; it's Vegas, after all!!! Other than the minor inconvenience, and the occassional peeling wallpaper or expansion of rusting steel reinforcement here and there, the Luxor still provides a decent […] hotel for the price. And, there are numerous specials and comped drinks etc. to offset the 'resort fee' of $20 added to the daily rate...no real surprises. Les mer
"How else can you get to Egypt without a passport?"
This hotel is an architectural wonder. The Luxor offers an entire array of services, restaurant options, gambling, night clubs, and shopping. They also have the BEST penny slot machine "GOLDFISH"! If you do stay at the Luxor and enjoy a little gambling action, check out this slot machine!
It was a memorable trip, love our room and super like Luxor . The only thing is that really didn't like the housekeeper we put the privacy note in the door and they keep knocking and calling on the phone. Then she was taking the trash out of our room she left the door wide open. Other than that I love our room and our stay at Luxor .
I have really enjoyed very much and made my stay a remembarful one also liked the food variaty in the buffet . Thank you very much and hope to come back and stay in Luxor and will not hesitate to recomand my family and friends to stuy with your hotel. Keep the good service.. Thanks agine.

"Great value and proice performance"
I like the hotel overall, but the queen size beds are small more like a Full size bed.
My wife has a medical condition where she has to keep her medication refridgerated, Your cost to us $25 a day for a portable. Found beer bottle caps under the table. You spend $190 on a steak dinner at the tender and the $15 plate 0f Veggies were cold, took some steak back to room no Microwave to warm it up? Not once were we asked if we needed help […] with our bags? I am sure you won't post this if even read it. It was our 40th anniversary the next one will be at the comfort Inn. Les mer
"OK value for money but nothing to write home about"
The hotel architecture is very unique but the hotel maintenance is lacking. I noticed creaking glass front doors, broken furniture in the room and surly staff. Was in Vegas for a conference at another hotel and could not get another night at the same hotel so had to move to Luxor. Overall, would not come back - there are better options available.

"Our stay"
The hotel was clean and comfortable. The check-in had long lines with little explanation given. We had a $35 food credit with our reservation but was not told at what restaurants and how to go about using it. We also were not told about the M-Life card benefits until after we gambled for awhile. Those credits and our show tickets could have gone on […] it if we were told at check-in. The hotel elevator was a bit touchy too. Sometimes it would freeze on a floor or not allow you to push your floor button (even when you put your card in). A lot of walking to go to sightsee at other hotels. Les mer
"No WiFi at the Luxor Hotel and Casino"
Although I only paid for a deluxe tower room, I must have been upgraded to a tower suite. The suite was very large and spacious with a floor plan similar to a suite at THE Hotel at Mandalay Bay. The furniture is a bit dated but still comfortable. The only complaints I have about the room are the poor lighting, especially since this room had windows […] that face north, and no wireless internet. I can understand the poor lighting since most hotels use fluorescent lights nowadays, but no wireless internet? This was a work related trip and the laptop I brought was my Macbook Air, which doesn't have an RJ-45 port. If I had to do any work on my laptop, I was told that there's a Starbucks nearby with WiFi. And if I really needed to work in my room, I was considering heading to an Apple Store or Best Buy to purchase an RJ-45 to USB dongle. Luckily I was able to get any work I needed to do done on my phone and using the WiFi that was provided at the training seminar I was attending. Les mer
