Hadde et veldig trivelig opphold. Generelt godt fornøyd med hotellet som hadde et flott badeannlegg. Også positivt at det gikk gratis buss til The Strip hver halvtime. Turen tok kun 15 min. På den negativ side må det sies at det ikke var rengjøring eller bytte av håndklær hver dag som på vanlige hotell (1g på 7 dg), men man kunne ringe og få rene håndklær i løpet av dagen. I tillegg var det stusselig hvis man var uheldig og trakk det korteste strået og måtte ligge på sovesofaen. Den var ikke god å ligge på, og ødela veldig mye på helhetsinntrykket av et ellers supert hotell. Gjør også oppmerksom på et ekstra gebyr pr dag som kommer i tillegg til alt annet.

Rent, pent hotell (laminat på gulvet og ikke teppe!), helt greie rom, raske heiser. Fordums 50-talls storhet med Flamingoer i bakhagen. Enkelt, greit og billig hotell. Det er dessuten ikke så stort, så du bruker ikke lang tid fra resepsjonen og opp til rommet (andre hotell kan det jo ta 10 minutter).

Hotellene på The Strip har stort sett god kvalitet. Vi valgte akkurat dette hotellet fordi prisen var god og fordi det ligger midt på the Strip (har bodd på andre hoteller i utkanten av The Strip tidligere - og da har det blitt mer trasking). Hotellet er bra, og har ingen problemer med å anbefale dette, selv om jeg ikke er sikker på at vi velger det neste gang (er mange bra hoteller i området). Veldig fin utsikt fra de rommene vi fikk :-)

Allerede fra start, fikk vi en flott mottagelse. Vi hadde bestillt IKKE RØYK. Hotellet beklaget at til den prisen vi hadde bestillt var alle "ikke røyk rom" opptatt. Men de tilbø oss umiddelbart et rom på "diamond floor" som erstatning. Hotellet ligger litt tilbaketrukket fra Stripa, og dermed unngås mye støy, men du mister ikke utsikten. Frokosten som var inkludert var god, men kunne vært litt mere variert. Eneste man kan utsette på, er at det er vegg til vegg teppe på alle rom. Men det er det så og si på alle hotell i USA, med noen unntak. Det positive er at det ligger tilknyttet til hotel PARIS, meget positivt. Rabatt kuponger var det masse av, som fungerte på det meste av opplevelser som:Show, utflukter, barer, resauranter, m.m.

Det meste er overveldende i Las Vegas, inkludert dette hotellet. Vi var utrolig fornøyde. Stort og flott rom! Kan anbefale både frokost og middag på Grand Lux Café.

Elendig inneklima. Veldig gamle og slitte rom, ikke i nærheten i standard i forhold t de andre kjente hotellene. Plagsomme servicefolk som hele tiden banka på rommet uvisst av hvilken grunn. Dyrt i forhold til hva du betaler for. Dårlig beliggenhet i forhold til "sentrum" av strippen. Sydenkvalitet på ting de solgte i de få butikkene der.

Hotellet i seg selv var flott. Det er rent og ser forholdsvis nytt ut. Det ligger ikke helt ideelt til hvis man skal henge på The Strip, men er billig. De har en resort fee på 15 dollar, men internett er gratis (mange av hotellene uten resort fee charger 15 dollar for internett...). "Gammel ringrev"
Hotellet har ikke endret så mye siden jeg var der for 10 år siden. Men det er utrolig bra holdt, så det viser liten sitasje. Du kan derimot se at de ikke har pusset opp med tanke på fargevalg. Vi skulle bra sove der.... så det funker hotellet veldig bra til!
Er bare å klinke til med Spa suite med en eneste gang! Konge rom til konge pris. Moves like Mick Jagger!

Dårlig service,lite imøtekommende personale. Ikke Wifi,bare en gammel Isdnlinje... Ekstra avgifter belastes ved ankomst, dette for tjenester man egentlig ikke trenger. Mørke rom og et veldig masete rengjøringspersonlae, begynner å vekke deg kl 8 for så å komme tilbake hver time..
jeg har vart her tidligere og hatt supert oppholdhver gang, men dette var forste gangen jeg matte betale resort fee, og det var pa ca 100.150 dollars.., det syntes jeg var kjipt ,da jeg trodde alt var inkludert... ellers er det ett fint hotell, men dyrt. kostet 1 dollar i minuttet bare for a lane en pc, veldig overprized. Fantastisk resort me badeanlegg. Gratis valet parking. Beliggenhet kanskje litt for langt sør på the strip. Resort fee må betales i tillegg ved innsjekk.

Rommet var bra rengjort, litt slitt noen steder. Spis på nabohotellene. Maten er ikke ved å bruke penger på luxor. Bassenget var meget bra, men stive priser i pool baren. Alt i alt et fint hotell som kan anbefales, dersom man ikke ønsker bruke altfor mye penger, samt på sentralt på The strip.

Hotellet er helt supert, rent og ryddig. Det eneste vi savnet var et kjøleskap på rommet, mest for barna sin del slik at melk, youghurt o.l. kan holdes kaldt.

Luxor is a little worn down. Check-in ques are long. Food is focused on fast easy food, not good restaurants. Prices are not the highest so someone may say it is worth it, but we were disappointed and wish we had upgraded to something better.

Hotellet har en fin beliggenhet på The Strip, og med airshuttle er det enkelt og gratis å komme seg fra A-B. Rommene var fine nok, men preget av at det var godt brukt. Måtte betale ekstra for barneseng 10$ natten, så kommer fee i tillegg på hotellrommet. Flott badeanlegg og mange attraksjoner i bygget. Alt i alt et fint hotell å være på!

"Great Price, Poor Hotel Upkeep"
The room was a steal at the price, and it was right on the strip. Only complaints /i had were poor lobby lay-out (had to ask where the check in desk was) and poor room and elevator maintenance, the elevators shook so bad i thought we could plunge to the bottom at any moment.
Had a great time at the Luxor. Close to everything.

very nice hotel, elevators take a while to get used to since they are called inclinators not elevators [trippy]. the pool is super nice with a pool side bar and servers. i paid for the chases with the umbrellas and cushions well worth the 25.00. didn't see any shows so i can,t coment on them.the buffet was very good to, opt for the 2 wrist band for […] 32 dollars ea for the buffets, wish did. It was a great price for one of the more upscale strip hotels. Hotel was very nice with a huge pool. The hotel is connected to 2 other which I guess are owned by the same company so you can get to all of them. They have a good assortment of restruants including some low cost as well as high end.

I thought our stay there was great, the family really enjoyed it. We only stayed for one night due to flight being cancelled and wished we had stayed there for the entire trip! The hotel staff were great, check in was a breeze maybe 5 minutes. Our room was really comfortable, the only complaint I would have about it is the air conditioner, it really […] didnt function well but I believe that is because it was old. The lady that maintained our room was super great, above and beyond as far as Im concerned. She really went the extra mile to make our stay more pleasant. The shows in the hotel were outstanding, and we were close to alot of other attractions and dining establishments. I would definetely recommend this Hotel to friends and family. Les mer

"another business trip"
The Luxor carries a very well regarded name umongst hotels/casino/resorts in Las Vegas. The property is beginning to really show its age and I don't believe the overall condition of the property is where it should be for a reputation like theirs. The staff was friendly and competent but the small items like trays, glasses, towels sitting in the hallway […] from 9pm (I went to room) until 830 next morning (I left my room) still there, are the small items that need to be addressed. Maintenence items such as wallpaper torn or curling and carpet that desperately needs replacement are the upkeep items I didn't think I would be writing about. I actually expected more quality. "Comfy and Quiet"
We stayed in the pyramid and I was pleasantly suprised how quiet it was in our room with the casino, check-in, and restaurant/bar activity 10 floors below. It was even quieter than most tower rooms I've stayed in. The bed was comfy and the room clean.

Stayed in a pyramid room. Stuffy feeling in the room because they don't ventilate to conserve on energy (even though Vegas will waste on neon lights). Shower looked outdated. Elevators were creaking. Basically, I stayed here due to price and proximity to Mandalay Bay, where I like to eat. Often, you get what you pay for.

We were 'upgraded' upon arrival to a room that had no view and never dropped below 80 despite our running the AC continuously. Thankfully, the room was clean and quiet. We were not impressed by the food either. On the plus side, the valets who handled our vehicle were cheery and very helpful.

There were really nothing wrong, but as said by many other reviewers as well, this ain't build this century so it can be seen. Otherwise there were nothing to complain really. Pyramid room was spacious enough, it didn't smell (I ask new room, if and when so happens) and everything was working. To walk around Strip, this is not perfectly located as this […] is at south end of the Strip, but whole south Strip is easily accessible from this hotel. Luxor is well connected to the next hotel Excalibur so either one you choose, you pretty much can have same services under same roof. Les mer

"Great room at the luxor"
the last time i stayed in the Luxor was in 95 or 6 when they first opened up. Hotels.com had a great rate and decided to stay again. I got a room on the 28th floor and the room was nice. I don't remember the room i got last time, but this one seemed upgraded. had a nice west view. The main areas, like the elevators and certain parts seemed beat up after […] all these years of so many people in and out. the cool thing is the sideways traveling elevators. I went the pool are to look around and it was clean and spacious. First time i have seen it as the last time it was winter time. i did not go to any of the restaurants inside. My past experience was with the buffet and it was not good. have never ate there since. Overall it was a nice place. i usually go again in the summer and this time it will definately be one the list of possible places to stay. Les mer
"Very Average but Great price"
The room was very average and had an odor to it that smelled like smoke. Elevators were creaky and shaky. If you are going for just a night and need a reasonable place to stay this is the one. Overall not too bad.

"My Military Reunion Weekend"
I really loved this hotel, it was extremely large and beautiful, the only complaint that I have is there was no microwave and they charge you $25 for a mini fridge, I felt tat for the cost of the hotel they should be in the rooms, we had a great time.

Enjoyed the casino - restaurants were great - Carrot Top show was awesome! But air conditioning in room couldn't keep up and we were there in April, can't imagine what the room would be like in the summer.
It's getting old and it shows. I think they could do a lot more with the Egyptian theme, being inside a pyramid should be cooler than it was.

We enjoyed the Luxor. It was easy to find our way around on the ground floor, unlike many of the large casinos/hotels. The check-in process was quick and we were able to check-in early - which was a bonus for us. The elevators was extraordinary in that they move at an angle not up and down. Pretty cool. We checked in and originally received a room on the 20th floor of the pyramid. I probably should have read the reviews before but there is only elevator from on each floor and you must walk around the entire pyramid in some cases to get to your room. Of course we received a room at the farthest point from the elevator (I think because we booked a discounted […] room though hotels.com) The room was very hot as the AC was not working. We called the front desk and they sent someone up to look at and service the AC. It cooled slightly more but after sweating through the night we requested a new room.
