Litt slitt, men veldig sjarmerende hotell. Rundt hotellet er det en nydelig hage. Hotellrommet vårt hadde balkong og fantastisk utsikt. Å spasere til sentrum eller gamlebyen gikk relativt raskt.
Beliggenhet.
Hotel Fuerte Marbella ligger nær stranden i hjertet av Marbella, i nærheten av Playa de la Bajadilla, Playa de la Fontanilla og Marina La Bajadilla. Plaza de Naranjas ligger også i nærheten avdette hotellet.
Fasiliteter på ferieanlegget.
Hotel Fuerte Marbella har utendørsbasseng, innendørsbasseng, badstue og treningsstudio. Gratis trådløst Internett er tilgjengelig på fellesområdene. Forretningsfasiliteter ved dette 4-stjerners hotellet inkluderer forretningssenter, møte-/konferanserom og audiovisuelt utstyr. "Helt greit hotell"
Et flott hotell med meget god plassering. Godt internett opplegg og en meget bra frokost. Kan anbefales dersom man ønsker å være sentralt!

"Hotel Fuerte Marbella"
Hotellet besto av en eldre og en nyere del. Begge hadde meget god standard.Rommet vi hadde var et rom med "side view" til middelhavet og det var helt greitt.. Parken rundt det ene av de to bassengene kunne med fordel hatt besøk av en gartner. Det virket noe dårlig stelt, men allikevel til å leve med. God service av hyggelig personell. Den inkluderte […] frokosten var OK, men ikke bedre enn den burde være. Hotellet kan anbefales og gamlebyen som ligger like ved er absolutt verdt et besøk med fine butikker og gode spisesteder. "Et lekkert hotel med suveren belligenhet"
Dette hotellet er noe av det beste vi har bodd på. Fantastisk belligenhet på strandpromenaden og kort vei til sentrum. Flott rom med balkong og hagen var bare lekker. Nydelig frokost og bra med tråløst nettverk på rommet. Kjempehotel som bør oppleves og vi kommer definitivt igjen.

Fantastisk bra hotell,med super beliggenhet ih.h.t. shopping, restauranter,lang strandpromenade, service,mat underholdning,ja alt er i våre øyne helt topp! Vi har hatt 11 opphold på dette hotellet og kommer tilbake hvert år.

Ligger sentralt ved sjøkanten, nedenfor gamlebyen i Marbella, fin utsikt, mener at alle rommene har balkong, men mot et lite tillegg i prisen, kan en få få balkong i front, anbefales, frokost buffé'n var kjempe bra, nokså lytt mellom rommene. Promenaden mot sjøen, går hele veien inn til Puerto Banús, ca. 6 km. Parkering på hotellets parkeringsplass […] koster 12 euro i døgnet, burde kanskje være gratis for hotellets gjester, ellers var det litt dårlig med solsenger til alle, en måtte være tidlig ute, solseng på stranden koster 6 euro... "Pent og ærverdig hotell med strålende plassering"
Et fint og trivelig hotell sentralt plassert midt mellom gamlebyen og stranda. Trivelig betjening og god atmosfære, god frokost. Vi var der utenom sesong i februar og fikk en god pris.

Everythins worked as expected, from check-in late evening through to check-out next morning. Rooms were spacy, breakfast splendid, and the lady that checked us in was in particular cheerful, helpful, and gave us the perfect start to our short stay of one night (we = daughter and me).

Hotel Fuerte Marbelle - perfekt beliggenhet og topp service Vi var to par som reiste sammen og ankom hotellet tidlig. Innsjekkingen var ikke før 15, men vi fikk likevel rom før kl. 12. I tillegg fikk vi frokostkuponger ved ankomst og frokosten var utrolig bra. Beliggenheten var perfekt med stranden og promenaden nedenfor hotellet og gamlebyen ovenfor. […] Greit bassengområde med bar. Utstikt til sjøen fra de fleste rom og veldig rolig og fredelig område. Ingen biltrafikk eller støy fra barer/nattklubber. I loved this hotel - best 4-star I've stayed in. Very comfortable beds, clean, right next to the sea, even with a sideview of it without booking seaview :) Nice helpfull staff and very central. Big garden, outdoor pool not heated was the only disadvantage I think! And the bread was not good at all (cheap pre-baked stuff)- rest of breakfast great.

If you want a hotel in Marbella then this is a good choice. We paid very little for a twin room with breakfast (we managed to get a double). Room fine (with kettle!!) & bathroom large - 2 basins. Hotel slightly dated, however, don't be put off as clean, spacious, tidy & in very good condition. We spent 3 days in Seville rushing around (it's beautiful) […] and drove down for 2 nights here. Staff very polite/professional - particularly the bar staff. Drinks are reasonably priced. Decided not to have large buffet dinner in restaurant & opted for veal steak in bar - it was so tasty. Live music each night. Beach front hotel & enjoyable lunch right by the sea in it's beach restaurant. Would recommend a stay here. Les mer

"Good"
The hotel was very nice and so were the rooms. The elevators are not air conditioned so it's hard to breathe in them when crowded. I was disappointed that I had paid for a front ocean view room and obtained a lateral ocean view. Breakfast was excellent.

Solid 4 star hotel, our room was super clean and cute. Great location to the beach and lots of restaurants. I would stay there again if in the area. Only complaint is the 2 twin beds pushed together are uncomfortable but I know in Europe that is pretty common offering.

We stayed at the Hotel in August, the price per night was quite expensive but the service we got was great, entertainment every night in the Hotel's bar, prime location in Marbella, lots of upper class people at this hotel.

My husband and I traveled to Marbella for our honeymoon and stayed here. The hotel was a bit difficult to locate coming into town, so bring directions, but it is right on the beach and also surrounded by restaurants and bars. For those who'd rather not leave, the hotel offers a pool and great bar. There buffet in the morning is worth getting up for, […] mmmmmmmmmmm! They also offer great dinner services for a good deal! The staff at this hotel are all extremely helpful and service is very good. However the hotel is tired and needs investment. Our sea facing room was very basic. The grounds of the hotel - swimming pools and sunbathing areas are far too small for the number of guests the hotel can accommodate. "Perfect location"
This hotel is perfect for couples looking for a beach holiday that isn't just about lying by the pool - though the pool area was excellent. Rooms have obviously been redecorated recently and are clean and airy. Only negative would be that air-con is quite loud. The breakfast was upsides with an upmarket US hotel. Great selection of fresh fruit, bread, […] traditional cooked food and a chef on hand to make your choice of omelette or crepe. We chose the hotel because the of it's enviable beach front location and weren't disappointed... Less than a minute to the sandle-melting sand. It is also just a couple of minutes to the pretty Old Town with its narrow streets, great boutiques and places to eat. Taxis are very reasonable in Marbella - just £11 to Puerto. Finally the pools, although not massive, are never overcrowded and i especially enjoyed being able to use the kaos one. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Les mer

Stayed for 7 day mid May - warm and sunny. 2 adults 65+. We wondered whether booking a city centre hotel was a risk too far, but our experience at this hotel showed it was a great decision. The Fuerte is a city centre oasis, great room with a sea front view, large enclosed grounds with all the trimmings including covered and open pools, and direct access […] to a very good beach. Would recommend half board as hotel dining is excellent and relatively good value, followed by good and varied live entertainment every night. What's more, it is a few minutes walk from Marbella Old Town, with interesting shops and large choice of restaurants and places to sit and people watch and be seen. The there are frequent local buses to local shopping mall and Puerto Banus, with a hydrofoil to this unreal yet fascinating essential place to see, leaving from the marina also close by. Really nice hotel in a great location. Staff very pleasant and helpful.Nothing was too much trouble. Buffet breakfast was very good. All tastes catered for. A fridge,tea and coffee making facilities in the bedrooms, which were quite spacious.Nothing like an early morning cuppa on the balcony. Get a sea view, worth the extra. money.Then , fall asleep […] to the noise of the waves gently lapping against the sand. Magic! Had a lovely eight night stay at the Fuerte. We had a great deal because it was just before the season started but we were incredibly lucky with the weather it was scorching! This is a real quality hotel bang smack in the middle of everything, nothing seems more than a few minutes away. The breakfast is something else, the most choice of any hotel […] i have ever stayed at, even have champagne for those with hardy livers. Cant recommend highly enough. Les mer
"5 day trip - March"
What a fantastic hotel. The service was amazing and facilities were excellent. Food served was of the highest standard. Located just off the beach it is an easy stroll down the beach to some nice restaurants and bars. Would highly recommend!!!
Very pleased with the hotel all above expectation, will visit again for sure,the only down side was the expensive hotel parking at 12euros per day costing more to park the car than to hire it.
"Awesome Breakfast"
We were really happy with our choice - great location, pools, etc. The breakfast buffet was especially great - huge selection complete with someone to cook you eggs or crepes, a chocolate fountain, and champaign as well as the regular breakfast selection. We would definitely stay again.

Very good value, nice and well located hotel. I initially got a very small and noisy room on the first floor, but subsequently moved to a good size and quiet room on the upper floor. The lobby and restaurant (especially at breakfast time) can get somewhat busy with many golf tour groups. Friendly and efficient staff.

we have just returned from a three night stay and would highly reccomend this hotel. All the staff from reception through to the cleaners were extremely polite and helpful. The room we had was very small not sure we would have been comfortable to stay longer but the sea view was lovely and the room was clean. great possition and would definately visit […] again. Les mer
"Great Location with wonderful staff"
We stayed in this hotel in January 2011. Overall we couldn't fault the hotel. Great location, excellent staff, safe parking, good facilities (indoor heated pool for off-season), evening entertainment, and good buffet breakfast. When we arrived I was quiet ill and the gentleman on reception was just brilliant, so understanding and attentive. There were […] two things that we found unsatisfactory. One related to the lack of sound proofing. We could the babies crying the room next door. Could also hear water running in their bathroom e.g. shower, toilet flush etc. The other issue was the price of a pint in the bar: it was expensive. Other drinks were however ok. The location and the staff really made this a special place to stay. There was a welcome drinks reception on Thursday evening and the staff were naturally friendly and gave us lots of tips and advice. Les mer
"The El Fuerte Marbella"
We thouroughly enjoyed our Christmas and New Year in the El Fuerte. The sea view was not a disappointment(important if you want a view) and the breakfast was excellent with very friendly, hard working staff. The Manager Maria was often seen around the hotel and could not do enough for her guests. We had admired the Christmas table cloths on the table […] and next we knew there was a packet of them in our room! The Hotel has a great location for the Marbella old town and the nightly entertainment was of a good standard especialy the Flamenco night. We treated ourselves to some of the spa treatments and these were lovely. We would definitely return to this hotel, though I would always pay for a sea view, we had our door open all week and the sound of the sea was great. Les mer
"Hotel Marbella Fuerte - Absolutely Top-Class"
My husband and I have just returned from a blissful week at the Marbella Fuerte and we would highly recommend it for your stay in Marbella. Each and every aspect of the hotel exceeded our expectations. It's location is ideal - set right on the promenade, it offered a lovely view of all going on around us. We literally used to just walk out the gate […] from the garden/ pools and were on the prom which goes all the way to Porta Benus... this, by the way is a lovely way to spend a morning. At night, we were conveniently located for dining in either the old town or on the promenade. The gardens are beautiful, as are the terraces by the pool. The pools themselves are more than adequate for holiday - an indoor pool; which was set-out in lanes and seemed to be used by people interested in doing serious swimming; doing laps, and a very pleasant outdoor pool more suited to those of us who were happy "having a splash and bobbing around". We were there on a bed & breakfast basis - I would defintiely recommend this too. I especially liked the omelette bar and chilled cava. The choice and quality of food available was excellent. We did have lunch at the hotel one day. The menu was varied and offered plenty in the way of vegetarians. Service was very good. All staff were incredilby curteous, efficient and friendly for the duration of our stay. This went from the two lovely receptionists who met us when we were weary after travelling to every other member of staff we met during the week. Staff at breakfast in the morning were always so bright and friendly. The staff in the bar and at lunch were always a pleasure to deal with - everyone was always bright, smiling, eager to help in any way that they could. Our room was bright and had a spacious balcony. The bathroom was equally spacious and well-appointed. Our bedroom was located at the side of the hotel and this was the only thing that was disappointing during our stay. "El Fuerte Hotel Marbella - The ideal location"
Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anybody, and after having just returned from a visit in July 2010, I am already considering returning to the same hotel again for a second visit in September! The hotel was spotlessly clean, the rooms modern and well-equipped, the facilities excellent, and the location ideal - as it turned out to be both quiet […] and free from yobs, whilst also within easy reach of the numerous restaurants, ice-cream parlours, parks and shops in Marbella itself. The inclusive breakfast was excellent with everything you could possibly want foodwise to start the day. We did pay extra for the evening meal one night which was not included in our package - but we did find it to be rather expensive for what it was and the evening standard of service from the waiters etc didn't seem to be quite up to the lofty standards of staff attentiveness during the day. The views from the hotel were fantastic as it directly overlooks the seaside promenade and is blessed with a particularly quiet section of beach. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Marbella as the ideal base for your stay! Les mer
