Relativt nytt sted. Rommet var rent og pent med gode kokemuligheter, kjøleskap, strykebrett osv. Litt langt å gå til nærmeste spisested/dagligvarer, må ha bil.

"My son enjoyed himself!!!"
It was neat and clean. The only thing is that they said we had a two room suite but it was a double bed suite with a living room. Everything else was just perfect. The pool was clean and all the amenities were available.

I really enjoyed my stay. The rooms were spacious and clean, well appointed, staff was friendly and helpful, great location. I would refer it to others.

I enjoyed my stay, had an issue with the heating in my original room and was quickly upgraded to a new room with a lake view. The staff were very friendly and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

We came down for a show at the DPAC and had a great time. The room was big and very clean. All staff that we had contact with were very nice. Would stay there again.

We usually stay at this hotel on our way to the beach each year and have only had good experiences. This year when my husband woke up suddenly unable to walk on his foot the staff was wonderful! They brought us a wheelchair immediately, helped me get him & our stuff (including two kids) to the car, got him ice for his foot and directions to statcare. […] Were very nice & helpful. Will for sure stay here again next year! Les mer

My daughters were really disappointed when we could not use the paddle boats 2 hours before a wedding. I do not understand the reason? I promised them we could go on the boats that afternoon. I live out of state and hate to deny them anything when Daddy visits.
"Doubletree Suites Raleigh/Durham--Bring Extra $$"
Sadly, the pleasures brought by a comfortable and spacious suite were undermined by a surly staff during the middle and end of our stay, and a series of dumb policies. We ordered room service--the food was mediocre and overpriced (several extra charges). The person who brought the food up was unfriendly and brusque. The morning of check out, we decided […] to do the paddle boats. Cheesy, sure--but we hoped they would be fun. Of course, they charge us $5 for half an hour, and tell us that we have to wait because the none of the three boats had been returned yet. We have a lakefront view from our room, so we knew better. They had to check--we were right, of course. We paid, and used maybe half of our time--the paddle boats felt like they had not been oiled in years, so it was like pedaling up a mountain trail in tenth gear. Not fun. When we get ready to check out, I noticed we were double billed for internet service--because we used two laptops. The login screen never indicated the charge was per computer, only per room. The desk agent argued with me that, even though it didn't say that on the screen, it still meant "per computer". I pointed out to him that I pay the same amount for home internet service no matter how many computers I have (really, does it cost the hotel any extra to have a second computer connect from the same room??). After debating the issue, he finally removed one of the charges "as a courtesy". They also charged us $4 for two small bottles of water. I've never seen a hotel so intent on niceling and diming its customers. At least the chocolate chip cookies were free (although I wouldn't be surprised if I get a bill for those, too). Les mer

"the doubletree hotel in durham, nc"
I had a late check-in, but the hotel took care of everything over the phone. The hotel clerk even saved me a package of cookies! The suite was well maintained, clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was more than adequate. I enjoyed my stay.

Have stayed here several times, always lives up to prior stays... being a repeat customer should tell the whole story. Also, the breakfast is great!

"Nice Hotel"
I love the counter space in the bathroom, plenty of room to spread out. And, the counter outside the bathroom was handy. The suite set up is a plus. I like to be able to "leave" work in another room.
"Nice Hotel Thin Walls"
The only negative point of this hotel is that the walls are paper thin. We could hear the guy next door snoring and even when he went to the bathroom.

I have stayed with Doubletree on many occasions. During this stay, we found a lizard in our room. They responded immediately and moved us to another room. The staff was professional and courteous. The hotel itself is beautiful. We had a lakeview room with a balcony. It was very relaxing.
