Hotellet låg i passeleg avstand frå sentrum, ca. 20 min. spasertur nedover Broadway. Nærliggende spiseplasser rett over gaten. Frokosten var imidlertid ikkje heilt som heime (amerikansk) Rommet var heilt OK og hadde alt vi hadde bruk for. Servicen var upåklagelig med hyggelig og meget hjelpsom betjening,spesielt må nevnes org. av turen til Graceland med egen sjåfør. Hotellet kan anbefales.

"Just not the best place to stay!"
Picked this Super 8 motel in Nashville/Hermitage area based on price and location (we drive until late and leave in early a.m.) After checking in, the reservation clerk told me to park out front if I could find a place (she didn't tell me there was extra parking in back, though I'm not sure we'd have wanted to park that far away from our door). Place […] has an outdoor elevator and doors open to the outside, even on the 3rd floor balcony/wallkway. Parking area was very small with no open spots, but we did park along the driveway until a spot opened up. Room, beds, and bathroom were ok and clean, but carpet was quite old and appeared soiled (pillows were very small & soft). Breakfast was good enough, but it wasn't fully set-up until 8 a.m. (no juice or coffee). When we left and went to the desk, no one was available anywhere (even after ringing the bell for several minutes) and we left without ever seeing anyone. We would not go back to this motel. Les mer

Whilst the motel was ideal for our purpose we had initial trouble in the availability of our room. We had faced very long delays in our arrival at Nashville Airport and we did not arrive at the motel until around 3am. We checked in and proceeded to our room to be faced with not being able to get in as the door would not unlock. We spent 30 minutes until […] we were able to get into the room. We were not happy with the situation as we were worried that we may not be able to exit the room in an emergency. The next day we were allotted another room. Throughout our 8 day stay no laundry was available and this was not a good situation. If all the problems we faced were alleviated then we would be happy to stay at the motel if required. Les mer
"Clean hotel & very nice staff"
Chose Super 8 because of pool since we had grand-kids with us. Room was clean. Amanda was super nice. Felt safe with location and very nice area. Pillows in room were not very good. Only real negative I had was the pool area. It really needs some work done there. It is not in very good shape. We would stay there again.
We spent two nights in the motel. We were constantly on the go during the day. The motel was very comfortable and relaxing when we came in at the end of the day. There was a great breakfast in the Breakfast room. We truly enjoyed our stay.The lady at the desk was a very nice young lady and a very big help to us.Thank you for a great weekend.
"Better than expected"
I had stayed at the neighboring Suburban Extended Stay for nearly two months when I need a kitchenette. For these two nights I only needed a place to shower and sleep. Suburban would give me no nightly discount even though I had stayed with them about 40 nights over two months. A quick check with Super8 found them a few dollars cheaper per night. I'm […] glad they were. The room was much cleaner, nicer and better smelling than the other. It's also very convenient (100 yards) to both Waffle House and Hardee's for meals. Free cable and wifi, too. When the entire family needed a place to stay for one night during a move (with the dog) we came to this Super8 and there were no complaints. Les mer

"Had no other option"
I usually don't stay at any hotel less than two starts but this was on a night when Tennessee had a Football game and before the new years and every thing was either all sold out or super expensive. It was what I expected, the rooms were clean and everything else was at par. This will always be my last option.

The rooms are comfortable and clean, and we love the free breakfast with fresh bananas, donuts, freshly cooked waffles, oatmeal, milk, coffee, and sausage biscuits! :) Thank you for making breakfast something to look forward to.

htere were people that were up all night partying and no one came to stop them could not sleep all night because of this we got up and left at 4 am The pool was not working
"POOR SERVICE"
We recieved poor service from the moment we arrived. OUR biggest problem was the fact; they gave us 3 towels we asked for more so we could us the pool and they would only give us two. (there were 5 of us) After they cleaned the room on the second day they took our towels and washcloths and did not return our washcloths, so we had to go ask for more. […] We could not use the common area without going and asking for someone to let us in, and could only us it for an hour. The pool light were not turned on until we asked twice. We were told by the staff to not let our children play on the grass to go back to our rooms to play. Totally unfriendly and terrible service!!! 2nd worst hotel stay in my life!!! and I travel a lot and usally get great service!!!! Hotels.com is great though. You get what you pay for but we were very surprised at how convenient and clean and quiet this visit was! Would definitely visit again!
"Not a pleasant night"
My non-smoking room was only non-smoking because I did not smoke. My hair and clothes -- even clothes I did not take out of the suitcase -- reeked of old smoke smell for days. Based on the price, I did not expect much, and I got exactly that. I'm not sure where all the other good ratings came from.

We have stayed here before and were pleased. We rode a motrocycle this time and had to go to the office and complain about kids missing with the bike. made a bit of a scene, but had to move the motorcycle to the front of the hotel. BLAAA

"needs some updating"
Stayed at this same hotel 1 year ago and it was clean and nice and comfortable. This year it has gone down hill a little. Needs some updating and deep cleaning. Stains on the carpet and little pillows. Need to put some menus of nearby delivery places in the rooms as well.

I was disappointed that I reserved a room for three kids and two adults and it confirmed room for five yet there was no sleeper sofa. The staff was very friendly and helpful with extra pillows and accommodations. The room was not as well maintained as some places with a toilet that needed work and a blown light bulb beside the bed. I had multiple "residents" near me that hung outside in the corridor,left their door open with their large dogs. One resident stayed outside and drank his beer and waved everytime my famly walked by. I felt like I was in the ghetto, and out of place to just use the room for 1 night.

This was a perfect hotel for us- it was clean , staff was great when you needed anything and it was only 20 minutes from Nashville. If you need a clean place to sleep with pool and breakfast -this was ideal Rooms are quiet even though they have an outside access. Thanks Super 8 for a great holiday

"Robotic Staff at the Front Desk"
Our room was booked for us through hotels.com in our host's name. When we showed up to check in, the woman at the front desk and the manager would not let us check in unless our host faxed proof of ID to the hotel. This wasted about an hour of our time and caused some aggravation for both us and our host. Eventually, their blind adherence to "Policy" […] gave way to common sense and they let us check in. This was the first time we ever stayed in a Super 8 Hotel, I have got to say it was better than I expected. The rooms were very clean & the staff friendly & helpful. The pool, however, was a little dirty at the time of our visit. It had hairs & grass floating in it which is not something I like to see in my pool water. We arrived at the hotel and had requested a non-smoking hotel when making our reservation. The room smelled of heavy cigarette smoke. The television had cable difficulties for over 3 hours. No reason why per desk attendant, The breakfast bar was insufficient the gravy was nearly gone and the entire breakfast bar had nothing to offer with the exception […] of waffles. The hotel was very clean, breakfast was GREAT, and all of the employees were friendly and helpful.
"You get what you pay for"
Overall, our stay here was fine. However, there is no such thing as a "non-smoking" room. The room did smell like it had been smoked in. We needed a cheap hotel for a week long visit to Nashville, and spent as much time away from the hotel as possible. If you just need a bed to sleep in and a place to shower, this is it.

Renovated. Breakfast had variety. Rooms comfortable. Staff was friendly. Wi-Fi is password protected but signal strength was fine. Desktop computer in the lobby. Convenient to highway, gas stations, restaurants & shopping. Would recommend & stay again.

I've been accustom to paying $100 plus per night. Decided to try Super 8 on this business trip. Surprised and very satisfied. Clean and comfortable. The staff seemed to go out of their way to make my stay a pleasant one, they succeeded. There was no flat screen TV but that was okay. The big box worked just fine. No hand lotion but I have enough of that […] from my $120/night hotels. The coffee in the room was good, ironong board iron and plenty of towels. What else do you need? Super value for the money. We had a nice downstairs room. Very clean, nice and had extra amenities like shampoo, coffee etc. Hair dryer was nice too. Kids loved the pool and overall it was enjoyable. Front desk was nice and helpful too.

Veterans travels all know that Super 8 Motels can be really hit or miss. But this one is a great deal in location convenient to Nashville and attractions. If all you want is a place to sleep and shower during your stay its is perfect. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The location is right off highway and surrounded be the usual places to eat. There was mold on the shower curtain, tile grout lines in the shower area, and along the ceramic floor tiles. Totally unacceptable. There was a build up of dirt along the edge of the carpet / carpet base. Furnishings were very dated and worn. The ironing board pad was torn andlitereally looked 20 years old. TV remote didn't function properly. Pool was […] out of service. Additional charge for breakfast was a total ripoff. The only item that was hot was a crock pot full of greasy biscuit gravy.
