Enkelt og bra hotell i Europeisk stil (les: litt shabby), meget sentralt. Hyggelig betjening, rent og ikke spesielt lytt. Veldig bra valuta for pengene. Anbefales!

Hotellet ligger meget sentralt til med kort vei til det meste. Komfortabelt, rent og god service. Gratis vinsmaking og nakkemassasje ved siden av resepsjonen fra 17-18 (meget praktisk etter en hektisk dag med sightseeing og shopping). :-)

Et fint og rent hotell med hyggelige ansatte. Ingenting negativt å si om hotellet, men nabolaget har en del uteliggere i noen kvartaler ned mot sentrum. Opplevde derimot ikke noe ubehagelig. Det er også svært kort vei ned til sentrumsområdet og Market street, og taxi er veldig billig slik at man slipper å gå på kveldstid. Fint hotell i forhold til hvor billig det var!

Hotellet ligger svært sentralt både for shopping og opplevelser i San Francisco. Vi trivdes svært godt der, og vil sannsynligvis vurdere hotellet neste gang vi skal til San Francisco. Hotellet er litt slitt, men rent og hyggelig. Personellet er ikke overhjelpsomme, men tar man kontakt og spør om hjelp så hjelper de deg!
"Hotel in SF airport."
Overall the service and room conditions are good. Especially the free 24 hour shuttle bus to the airport. That is a big plus. If you could provide free coffee in the waiting area and better excersice facility it would be more appealing to travelers. By the way, I don't drink coffee.
Would not recommend restaurant. Food was marginal and overpriced. Better to eat in the bar (different menu).

Beds are small, room is nice, hotels does not have a spa and it shares a pool and parking was $25.00 for less than 24hrs. Find a different hotel with free parking.

Hotel shuttle was extremely helpful. Make sure to include into the price if you need parking. Extra $18.

I will be staying here again on future trips. The staff was great and the room nice. There is a little 24 hour diner within walking distance with reasonable prices that I frequented.

"Double Tree-Burlingame"
Our overall experience at the Double Tree was good. The room was clean and comfortable and we got a good price. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant and bar was good but rather expensive and the service was very slow. The city's free trolley was really convenient with a pick-up at the door and several stops downtown […] and at Cal-Train. Be warned that the hotel will put a $50 hold/night on whatever card you give them at check-in and will not tell you that they're doing it. While I know a credit hold is standard practice for some hotels, I've never had a hotel fail to inform me that they were doing it. I had to have them move the hold from my debit card to a credit card. While they took care of the problem quickly it was hassle I didn't need. Les mer

I hope the free cookies got your attention because this was the only plus to this hotel. Paid for parking when every other hotel was free. "DoubleTree near SFO - comfortable and convenient"
I'm usually a fan of DoubleTree Hotels (partly because their shameless chocolate chip cookie bribe works on me). The SFO DoubleTree is clean and comfortable. It's near the end of "hotel row" near the airport but the shuttle service works just fine to get to your 6AM flight on time.

The hotel is pretty nice. The staff at times were slow to respond to my requests but overall were pretty decent and friendly. My only real complaint is that the walls are paper thin which for a hotel that charges so much to stay there seems very inferior.
"WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE"
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever received. We reserved a crib which didn't even show up on their computer when we checked-in; we didn't even get a crib, it was a pack-n-play which we had to set up ourselves. Additional daily fee for a refrigerator, which was outrageous! Not to mention, the fridge was more like a freezer and even on the minimum setting […] froze a whole gallon of milk. and to top it off, had an issue with our key getting into the self-parking area and the employee who was giving us "assistance" over the intercom literally YELLED at me. After complaining at the front desk about this treatment, nothing was done other than a simple "we're sorry." i would NEVER stay here again and i will tell everyone i know not to ever stay at this location. "Not a great experience"
Thought the Doubletree would be a much higher quality but was just ok. Staff didn't seem too friendly. The cleaning staff was more friendlier. Rooms were clean. For the money, other places are just as nice but don't charge for parking or internet in the rooms. Wasn't a great value or us. "They rip you off with all of the fees"
There are so many fees it is crazy. Internet- you pay all this money to stay in the hotel and its not free! give me a break! $18 for parking! no breakfast. I even left my jacket in the room, called an hour later for the hotel staff to save it, the receptionist said they hadn't cleaned the room yet. I come back a few hours later and nobody saw my jacket! […] Horrible hotel- its clean and comfortable but overly expensive due to the fees. Les mer

"Convenient value hotel for SF trip"
I'd never stayed near the airport to visit SF before, so I wasn't sure how this would work out. But, the hotel was very nice, clean and comfortable, with free wi-fi in public areas and the business center. Access to the airport was easy enough, with a shuttle service 24/7. The only downside of this was that the shuttles were too small for the volume […] of traffic coming through the hotel. Too often, the pickups from the last airport terminal (where the BART station is) were missed because the shuttle already filled up. Count on shuttle rotations from the airport of 30 mins instead of every 15 mins. Other than that, good alternative. Les mer
"Double Tree by Hilton, SF Airport"
Issues with hotel stay from check-in to check-out. Long wait at check-in desk as single desk rep was on a call. Stood in the reception area for 10 minutes waiting for check-in. Each time the door opened, gust of cold air from Bay hung in the air. Desk clerk directed me verbally to wrong room. When key did not work, I checked the room number only to […] discover I was directed to wrong room. Made my way to the correct room and key did not work there either. Called front desk and informed attendant of issue. Waited five minutes for facilities staff to come to room to let me in. They then had to go back downstairs and make a new key. This is now an hour after my initial arrival so I decide to check out the room service menu. There is no menu in the room. I phone room service and am informed that hotel is going through a logo change and that may be reason for lack of a menu and "do you want a menu?" I responded yes, with a menu delivered in approx. 10 minutes. Tasty meal delivered timely and now it's time to settle into a few hours of computer work to prep for an early a.m. meeting. Tried repeatedly for 30 minutes to access wireless network with no success. I phoned the 800 number, receiving a message that due to heavy phone volume a lengthy wait time should be expected. Rep on the phone was diligent in trying to diagnosis the problem, but a good 20 minutes into the call determined that they were unable to help. I eventually went down to the lobby and was able to log on, but the connection was extremely slow. Upon check-out the self park ticket reader indicated my parking ticket was a "bad card". Buzzed through for help and was released from a very unsatisfactory hotel experience. I cannot recommend this hotel to others for a business or personal stay. Les mer
I have stayed at this hotel more then once. This wasnt my favorite experience. The room smelled a little musty or smokey. There was a big issue with the shuttle to the airport. One never came and other one was late. No one took charge of the situation at first.

LIKE: The staff at the lobby were very nice. Rooms were nice and clean. Bed was comfortable. Cookies were warm and yummy. DISLIKE: Outside the hotel look very dated, and could use a paint job. Overnight parking price was a little high. Got the view of the freeway instead of the water. Driving to the hotel was a little tricky, once you get off the […] freeway your in a series of loops, over passes, and quick turns. I was very pleased with this hotel. My room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Everything was great until check out time. "Clean and Comfy"
Close to SFO and about 20 minutes from San Francisco. Nice view of the bay. Clean rooms and very polite staff. We would stay here again.

We chose this hotel because of location to the airport. It turned out to be very comfortable. We also ate in the restaurant and it was excellent.

This trip started with some airport delays into SF. We had reserved King room with a no cancellation policy. When we heard about the delay, I called the hotel to let them know and was told it wouldn't be a problem. When we finally arrived at 1:30 am, we were told the only room available was a two double beds and SMOKING! Who the heck has smoking rooms? We […] could smell the smoke as soon as we left the elevator and it only intensified when we went into the room. Nauseating. Then we pulled back the covers on the bed and the first thing we see is a long brown hair just below the pillow. That's always fun. The furniture and carpeting were well worn which could have been acceptable had it not been for the smell and bed hair. Really questions overall cleanliness of the place. Needless to say, this place will not be revisited. We would have slept in the car had we known what we were getting for what was only an ok rate. We spent about 9 hours there, but got to smell the room on our clothes for the rest of the day! Les mer

Nice hotel in general, except for the a/c in the room which smells mouldy and is quite loud at night. The location is good if you're in town for just the night, otherwise, its quite far from the city center.

OUR STAY WAS GOOD. THE STAFF WERE VERY NICE AND EFFICIENT. THE HOTEL WAS CLEAN AND THE BEDS WERE VERY COMFORTABLE. THE BATHROOM WAS CLEAN BUT SEEMED A LITTLE OUTDATED. COFFEE MAKER WAS A PLUS. "Almost ruined the Family Vacation"
Booked two room for four nights, under what I thought was the same booking. Turns out, even thought I booked them together and paid for them together, the hotel split up the rooms into two different bookings, with two different names. This wouldn't have been a problem, expect we didn't find out about it until, the rude employee at the front desk informed […] us that not only were the two rooms not joined or even on the same floor, but that they were in TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT TOWERS. This was a family trip, so having the group divided between towers was completely upsetting. When we tried to get the problem fixed the manager assured us they would have a new room the following day, but again disappointment set in once more. We book with this hotel because it had good reviews, but after our experience and they're lack of interest in the service they were providing us, I wouldn't recommend this place. If this is a business trip and your traveling alone, this may not relate to you. But if your traveling in a group or with your family book very carefully, and be very specific! Double check your booking and spell out your needs and expectations, other wise you'll be greatly disappointed. We thought this would be a great hotel with great service but sadly we were wrong. Great view from my room of the bay and hotel is adjacent to a walking trail that follows the bay shore. Convenient on and off to 101. $9.99 a night for internet access + pay to park was a little excessive even for a HIlton property.

The room and hotel common areas were clean and well maintained, and I had no issues with either of those areas (save a minor toilet issue). The bed was *very* comfortable - one of the better beds I've slept in. The staff was friendly and very helpful, even when they were busy. And I do love those cookies they give when you first arrive (wish they gave […] them every night you stayed). My issues that prevent me from wholeheartedly recommending this hotel to everyone is that parking was not only *not* included with the room price, it is very expensive for being outside of downtown San Francisco. And breakfast was not complimentary, nor did I find any discounts/coupons for guests. Overall I give it a 4 rating, though I'm rounding up from a 3.75. Les mer

Great room with comfortable bed. Friendly staff and the food was good! I would recommend staying here and the cost is affordable.

The warm cookies at check in were a nice surprise. Even though our room was not ready at the time we checked in, they made up for it by providing free parking. The shuttle service to the airport was very convenient.
