Champions World Resort - Kissimmee

The hotel is pet friendly for a big price. The pet room was so bad i would not let my dog down then got moved to a better room. The phone did not work and housekeeping knocked on our door at nine in the morning to clean the room and woke us up.

Room maintenance was not the greatest. Front desk customer service was great.

Bath tub was clogged, my husband had to unclog it to take a shower. I booked a room that was supposed sleep 6, but was only furnished with 4 pillows. I called the front desk to ask for another pillow and was told they did not have any extra, after arguing with the lady at the Front Desk and making 3 phone calls I finally got a pillow. We only found […] one vending machine on property that was available after 2am. I inquired at the front where I might find a machine. I was told " We have them I dont know where any are. I killed a roach within minutes if arriving our first night. Only roach I saw. Kicked it to the side and went to sleep. We went to Disney and returned that night. Bed was made, that's it. No restock of toiletries. Roach still on floor! Floor is tile and white. Roach in plain view. Next day- housekeeper knows on our door at 7:30am. We tell her we are […] sleeping. Well she never came back because our room was still unmade with same dead roach on the floor for the 3rd night! Called front desk- was basically told, "I will send security over." What for??? He doesn't clean and my children are sleeping. The electrical outlets are very loose so you can't plug anything in, the lamp plugs won't even stay in. We stayed for 3 nights and our room wasn't cleaned ONCE. Just the bed made. Front desk person, Tamara's explanation is that they don't speak english and that is why our room wasn't cleaned properly. Seriously? You need to know english to properly clean and sweep a hotel room?? I left the dead roach on the floor the first night because I kicked it out the way and forgot about it. The next night I left it in to see if the housekeeper would even take note. We were out all day so we really didn't stay in the room except to sleep and shower. The room size was good for the price. They fail in cleanliness and fail in having a fully functional room. Fix your outlets. Les mer

THE ACCOMENDATIONS WERE ACCEPTABLE FOR THE PRICE. THE OUTDOOR FURNISHING NEEDED TO BE UPDATED BUT NICE. MY ONLY REAL COMPLAINT WAS THE DAILY HOUSEKEEPING, IT WAS POOR. THEY ONLY CAME IN AND MADE THE BEDS, NO CLEANING OF ROOM, SWEEPING OR CLEANING THE BATHROOM, ETC.

Wireless internet network needs maintenance and the beds are too hard. But take a Hotspot with you and ask for extra pillows and you are good to go!

The service was very slow. The evening check-in woman appeared to be very stressed because she checked-in a large group just before serving me. She was constantly complaining to another employee. Also there was no iron in my room so when I called to request one, it was never delivered. I only received one after walking back to the front desk and waiting […] an additional 15 minutes just to put in a 2nd request. this is really weird... They had a dog going room to room to check for bugs. That was so nasty to have a dog walking through the hotel room! Les mer

This is a hotel with very nice surroundings, but the rooms are not so nice! If you're looking for a place just to sleep in, it's ok (and if you like hard beds!) but one doesn't want to be in the rooms more than one have to.

We stayed one night. To accomodate our wish of a first floor room with two beds we got a handicap room. No carpet on the floor, questionable air conditioning (might be a problem on a hotter night), and standard size beds. It was worth what we paid for it but nothing special.

Is a crash hotel , you might want to bring your oen blankets , they dont change them after each ck out. Had no choice but to stay there 1 night thats was it for me

We got there around almost 1 am and we counted 9 people in line to check in. We were informed that they are always that busy at night. The woman was friendly and apologized for the wait. We found the room no problem. The beds weren't that comfortable and the room had an odd smell, but overall not bad for a last minute stay.

For the price you pay this is a very good hotel to stay at it was clean and close to the parks we had no problems we will be going back to stay. if you do read some of the reviews here dont let them scare you some people just like to complain about the stupid little stuff but you need to understand this is not your house its just a good place to stay […] nothing is ever like home. you have to experience it for your self and make your own review. hope this helps for anyone. usually a good place to stay. not this time. beds were hard and uncomfortable, a/c didn't cool due to dirty a/c filter.

The room looked noting like the online photo. The doors to the rooms were old and needed immediate attenton. The keys to the rooms did not work very well and we had to reurn to the office on two occassions. Others at the hotel also complained of their keys not working. Staff was nice....very convienient. The breakfast they offer is wonderful and extremely easy on the pocket book. for a big family, this is a great alternative to make an amusement park vacation affordable for any family especially with the convience of the multiple pools to help kids wind down.

This is a lower-middle class motel that advertises itself as a resort. The rooms, while clean, have serious need of updating and the lack of security access is a concern.

Only negative on room was carpet stained.this did note expect.employee very respectable. Could not ask form better. Room service very quick and responsive and knowledgeable.except for carpet give a 12 output of 10. Very happy.

The value for price was good for this hotel. Not recommended if going for a week and staying around hotel. Not much to do and there were some flaws with room and service. If you are mainly going to parks and just sleeping there this would be ok. Examples of room flaws are the key didnt work upon arrival, tub didnt drain and remote missing. We only stayed […] a few days to kill time till we had to go our other resort nearby. So it the low price and location were very good for us. Les mer

Our stay was okay. The staff was very attentive and pleasurable to be around. The rooms were clean, but smelled like mothballs. It looked like they had recently painted the inside of the rooms. The beds are hard. The outside could use a face-lift. I would recommend new doors, windows, railing, paint and cleaning up the stair cases. The breakfast buffet […] was good, plenty of variety. For the price, I did expect more. I have stayed in really nice hotels for less. It is not a real "resort". They only have validity in using the word because they have two pools, an exercise room, and an arcade. With a few changes, I think this place would be more acceptable for the price. Les mer

payed full rate for the room the first day could not check in until 11:30 pm and got no discount . not fair since we did not cause the fire in the hotel and had to waite

It took one hour to check in and there was no one there but us. The staff could not locate our reservation and blamed hotels.com. But when we met up with our family, who had checked in the day before, they had seen my print out as they were looking for theirs. The rooms are ok. The problem is the quality of guests and lack of security. We were woken […] up at 6 am as out room neighbors proceeded to load their 7 kids on the car as they blasted hip hop. The second day, we were woken at about the same time as other room neighbors were loudly speaking and smoking outside the room. when i booked this hotel i paid for the room with a sofabed but did not get it. when we got there it literally looked like a spot for hookers.IT SMELLED REALLY BAD!!!!. and on one of the nights we were there while my husband, my daughters and i were having dinner, the electricity came off for about 5 mins with no explanation to what happened.. This hotel was nice. It was close enough to Disney to get there quickly, but inexpensive enough to not "break the bank."

The hotel is nothing fancy, but my family and me just needed a place to rest after all the daily walking. This hotel serve that purpose. Great location with stores and restaurants close to it. For the price it was well worth it.

I wouldn't advise anyone stay at this hotel. The service at the front desk was horrible - we had to wait 45 minutes just to check in! The entire facility smelled like smoke. I was happy we were only sleeping in the room and leaving promptly there after. I would advice spending extra money and staying at a nicer facility. We paid extra for the buffet […] breakfast to be included in our rate, but after seeing the hotel decided we'd rather eat at the McDonald's down the street! Les mer

our room key/lock was not working and needed to be repaired by maintenance since hotel was fully booked they couldn't just switch our room. the maintenance staff was awesome! he was super friendly, fast and accommodating but the lobby staff was the complete opposite... super slow, inhospitable and unenthusiastic. hotel is rundown and in obvious need […] of repairs (inside & out) & updating. not the cleanest place but not filthy either. the bed and pillows were not comfortable in the slightest. glad we only stayed one night. Possibly one of the nastiest rooms i have ever stayed in. For one, could not use the mini fridge because it has a leaking mcdonalds cup in it and some other items from the previous guests. Unbelievable! The staff can't even bother to clean out the stained fridge that goes to show how clean everything else must be. The towels and rags has weird brown […] stains on them and the bathroom had a red stain in the tub either juice or blood..I'm hoping its the former not the latter. Needless to say, the room was so filthy I couldn't bring myself to shower there...I would say book a cheaper hotel in the area because this is mid range price for IRLO BRonson pkwy and I'm sure you can find something cleaner. Check in was quick n easy price was amazing clean rooms u get alot for your money worth every cent and more. Karaoke night fun. Staff is fantastic. Bartender karaLeigh is the best.

The good place to stay. The room floor is not carpet, they use too strong chemicals clean the floor, so I have to leave the door open get fresh air.

we liked this hotel. for the price the rooms were clean. everything seemed a good value for the price.

The hotel is an excellent choice if you plan to only sleep there. It is relatively close to everything. Don't expect to use the shuttle to Disney though, it leaves the hotel at noon and has to pick you up by 8pm. Disney hours are 8am to 1pm.

This is one of the few hotels I have come across that has a handicapped room with two beds in it. The only complaint I have is that the room was a little warm. I is very close to Disney and only about 30 mins from Universal.

how can a resort not get espn? and during college football bowl season, i was livid, also the ac didnt work and i was sweating all night, terrible place to stay

when we checked in, after 7 PM, we went to our rooms, in an older portion of the"Resort", again NOT, and it was 3 generations of our family, 5 of us in two adjoining rooms. After unpacking we realized the TV was not working and called for help, our kids bathed their child and found the same trouble. Then the running toilet all night , no coffee pot […] in the room as promised and black mold under the back of the toilet, visible from the tub. so we get new rooms and not so much as an I'm sorry for the trouble! The new room has a coffee pot but it doesn't work. The ice machine gets vandelized before 9 pm. The heated pool was cooler than the air at night, thus unheated. The breakfast buffett was cold and stale, the waitress went back to the kitchen and got us fresh food! the only good part of that stay, barely. Save ur money ! Les mer

Can't complain much about anything. Great price, clean room ( updated), and super location. The only complaint I have is that the convenience store in the lobby wasn't open very often.

The overall rating is satisfied and the location is very close to good attractions in Orlando (Disney World and See World). Only the breakfast is quite poor relating to the cost and the typical international breakfast you can find on the most of american hotels.

First Will Like To Say It Took Over An Hour To Check In. The Front desk agent was rude. He Didnt Care at all that he couldnt find my reservation. So He Called what he told me was the supervisor. She Came From Home i am assume. He stated she Will only take 5 min, but 30 min later it still took another 25 min to check in. Great hotel and great price! Very spacious, clean, and great staff! Will be staying here again and again! Very suprised.. Great visit!

Woke up to find no HOT WATER in my shower. When I called the front desk they said they could move me to a new room, but I only had a few minutes to get ready so that was not an option. They did comp me the price of the room but it did make an interesting day in 95 degree Florida heat.
