Internet and car parking was expensive. Breakfast delicious and varied. Good location to enter the city by car, and avoid getting into the old town.

We have been to Sevilla many times and stayed mostly in lovely hotels. This time,being Semana Santa I booked well in advance and requested a room with a view to the Basilica de La Macarena.I must say that my wishes were more than granted.We had a lovely room with a spectacular view!.For three days and nights we followed the processions(this was our […] second time for this solemn occasion,unparalelled in the world).and it was always a pleasure to return exhausted to such a charming hotel. The Macarena is a bit far from the center but we know the area well and it is so typically sevillana,with so many bars with wonderful tintos and tapas,narrow streets,real andalucian life!The staff is excellent,from the front desk,to the concierge to the cleaning crew.Lobby and common areas are beautiful. Stayed in the TRYP for 2 nights. Fast and polite check-in, well-equipped, quiet room, altogether very good value for money. We paid extra for breakfast (9 euros per person per day) but well worth it to set you up for the day in view of the good selection of both hot and cold foods. The hotel is on a main bus route (C3/C4) a bit out of the central district […] of Seville, though it's walkable in half a hour or so. There are cafes, restaurants and supermarkets fairly close by. As well as the main tourist sites in the centre, don't miss the Macarena church across the main road from the hotel - breath-taking! Les mer

Saved around $600 by changing to this hotel for a four night stay. The breakfast was very good. Taxi service was convenient, but the hotel was not an area that had much to see. Had lunch at the restaurant at the foot of the nearby bridge..right on the river and the food and sights were were great.

Although hotel was on a busy road/corner the sound proofing was very reasonable especially considering we were stayed 2 nights 31st Dec & 1st Jan. We paid a little extra 8.5Euros for a buffet breakfast was probably one of the best I have had for a long time. Helpful reception staff. The TRYP Sevilla Macarena Hotel is a great option in Seville. Great size rooms, clean, staff were helpful. I'd stay again and recommend to friends.

We thoroughly enjoyed our extended weekend in Seville and the TRYP Sevilla Macarena Hotel was a perfect choice. We found the hotel clean and well equipped and the staff friendly and helpful. We paid extra for the full buffet breakfast which proved very good value and set us up for the day. The Hotel is located about a twenty minute walk to the tourist […] centre but there is an interesting variety of routes through the small streets of the Macarena area. The weather was very hot during our stay so the rooftop pool was very welcome after a hot days sight seeing. We would have liked tea and coffee making facilities in the room for the convenience of an early morning cuppa however this absence didn’t mar our stay and proved a small price to pay Les mer

I was very pleased with this hotel for the price i paid. The rooms were clean, staff helpful & the roof top pool with views of the city was beautiful & very welcome after a days sightseeing in the city with temperatures in the 40's. It is a good 20 mins walk into the centre but the neighbourhood of Macarena is very interesting & charming on your walk […] in. Plenty of buses stop outside if you dont fancy the walk. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel as it was a very enjoyable stay. Les mer

Breakfast Buffet recommended before sighseeing. Didnt eat dinner there. Hotel room was clean comfortable Shower has tub small with a half glass enclosure. water often soaked the floor. Rooftop pool-nice. Refreshing after a day in the sun. Rootop offers a nice view of the city. Macarena Basillica a must see.

The location is good. There are buses to the center in front of the hotel. The internet connection, which I had included in my package was very slow and a hassle since I couldn't use it with the laptop and my smartphone at the same time and had to get a new passwort every day. What a pleasant surprise! This hotel is a 10 all day long. The room was large, comfortable, well decorated, and the twin beds made for a most enjoyable evening. Location was prime--close to the old town where all the sites to see are located, and the bus stop directly across the street. A right out of the front door and right at the next corner you will find on the left side of the street a very find tapas bar. Food was great, cold beer and fine wine. This is a big and busy hotel just oposite one of the city gates. It even caters for some package tourists. The rooms are all approximatly the same size, so a single traveller is not given a small room with no view as often happens. The rooms are of a good size and comfortable. It is quite a hike to the main tourists sites as the hotel is in the north […] and the main sites are in the south of the city. But it can be an interesting walk if you go through the old town's twisting streets. A good size pool is on the roof but, for some unexplained reason, it is locked off until mid-day. Stayed here for a long weekend and loved it. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is a little bit out of the way but that is no problem as you can get the bus from outside right into the tourist areas. It also gives you the opportunity to enjoy the local restaurants - of which there are plenty. Well worth it to pay the small extra charge […] for a room with a view which then looks over the old city wall. Breakfast was also fantastic at the price - although very busy and you sometimes had to wait for fresh food to be put out. Never really long though. The pool on the roof is a lifesaver! Very large hotel situated quite centrally in Sevilla. Extremely clean! The mother of all breakfasts was served. Great in all ways except for very poor service by day time staff; ignorant, effortless and rude, very unfortunate. But must be mentioned that night staff was nice and helpful. it was quite hot, and I could never get the room comfortable. They claim to have air conditioning, but I never felt any cool air. I had them look at the airconditioning but they said it was normal.

nice hotel, great service but thin walls and two single beds not ideal. nice location, bit out of the main part of city but bus across the road takes less than 10 minutes.

this hotel is ideally suited for the C3 bus to the city centre and is just over the road from the basilica macarena which has the largest brotherhood (nazarenos - penitents) who have their main parade in the early hours of good friday. the hotel is very comfortable with a taxi rank outside. the buffet dinners are a bit boring and recognisably similar […] to the buffet breakfast! Hotel is very nice. A bit of a walk to the cener but we enjoyed the back streets and the lively scenes we encountered. It was a Saturday afternoon. Big dissapoinment was that they had shut the restaurant and were doing a buffet for a very large party of marathon runners and we did not find this out until we went down for dinner at 20.30. Parking in a nearby car park was 35 Euros for the nigt. Very expensive. You must book a hotekl space in advance. We drove to Spain via Portsmouth Santander ferry. A beautiful hotel, very clean and the staff were helpful. Not all speak lots of English but they all have some so you can communicate with them, and I had no trouble getting anything I required. We were a group and needed a hotel in the north of the city and this was ideally suited for our needs. The area is mainly residential and not many restaurants in the area. Easy for us to get to our location and on the last day we went into the tourist areas. Only about 15 minutes walk from the hotel to the sights and we were strolling so you could easily get there faster. Breakfast and dinner were buffet style and there was plenty of choice. the restaurant staff were happy to assist with hot water, and no request was too difficult. Hotel and room was nicer than expected. Pool on the roof is huge with an amazing view and very clean, towels provided. Very welcome in the 45 degree heat, as were the shaded sun loungers. Room was nicely decorated and clean, bathroom small but fine. The hotel is a long walk to the centre. There are buses but taxis are also quite cheap. Overall the property was a great place to stay...very clean, very service-friendly and reasonably priced. Being adjacent to the Church of the Macarena was a plus, however, it's a bit of a distance to the primary tourist spots. We hopped aboard a tourist bus (purchased tickets at Hotel Macarena) a few blocks away to access the balance of tourist stops. […] There's not too much nightlife around this hotel...it's quiet at night and family-friendly. Our two disappointments were that the rooftop pool (awesome) closed at 7pm (it was still light outside) and that we paid a bit more for a room with a view, which was on the 4th floor exterior end and not that spectacular. Short and Sweet - this was a really nice hotel, which is close to the main central city but just quiet enough to relax from the hustle and bustle. The hotel is very worth it's 4 stars. We were here in May, it was 90 degrees each day and yet the hotel turned off the AC each night at 3:00 am. We would wake up at 4:00 am sweating, in the stiflingly hot room. It was a beautiful hotel otherwise, but we will never stay there again.

Hotel was about a 10 minute bus ride to the city center. Very easy to get there with the bus stop being right in front of the hotel. Overall a good hotel for the price. The only bad thing was you have no control of the air conditioning temperature. Sometimes it would not blow cold air.

Friendly, accomodating staff. The room was clean and well presented. The pool was an added bonus for the price we paid.

We could not fault a thing, although it is not in the city centre the walk in was great and if we didn't want to walk there is a taxi rank outside the hotel and there was always one at least. On our first day the temperature was 42 degrees and for the other three, 39 degrees, so the swimming pool on the roof was fantastic. I suppose if I had to make […] any downside comment would be that although there was plenty of space on the roof the sun bed were very limited, about 30 for such a big hotel, but because, most spend their time touring the city, it didn't cause us a problem. We had a very enjoyable stay at the Tryp Macarena. Not only were the hotel facilities impeccable but the staff was very helpful and bent over backwards to satisfy our every need. A wonderful example of the Sevilla Hospitality!

Tijdens onze paar dagen in Sevilla verbleven we in Tryp Macarena. Geen aanmerkingen op het hotel. In de sportsbar bij de lobby waren ze zelfs zo vriendelijk om op ons verzoek een andere zender op te zetten. Het hotel ligt aan de rand van het centrum en het is wel een stukje lopen. Gelukkig is het vaak mooi weer in Sevilla, dus dat vonden wij geen probleem. […] Binnen een kwartiertje loop je het centrum in (bus of taxi kan ook). Aan de overkant van het hotel zit Bar Plata. Wij zijn daar enorm belazerd (twee drankjes 3 tapas € 43,-). Blijf daar weg! Les mer

Quisiera destacar la atención del personal de recepcion , como así también el resto del mismo, son muy atentos y cordiales, las instalaciones del hotel , son muy buenas , el lovi con su fuente central de agua hace que uno se transporte en el tiempo, bellísimo !!!

Buon rapporto qualità prezzo, anche se la stanza standard è un tre stelle.ma gode di una bella vista sulle mura ed difronte al bel santuario della Macarena Abbastanza comodo per una visita a piedi del centro storico. Vicina la fermata dell'autobus per raggiungere qualsiasi punto della città. Costo davvero eccessivo della colazione (risolvibile col bar […] all'angolo) MOLTO RUMOROSA LA STANZA ( vicini che russano o parlano come fossero in stanza ) la cattiva insonorizzazione è peggiorata dagli impianti comunicanti. Persistente rumore dell'intenso traffico della strada . Caldo eccessivo nella stanza senza reale posibilità di modificare la temperatura. Les mer

Una excelente opción para disfrutar Sevilla. Cerca de las atracciones turísticas y con muy buena accesibilidad al aeropuerto, centro y demás lugares. Desayuno con amplia variedad de opciones, como así también el restaurant.

La seule chose que l'on puisse reprocher à cet hôtel est le manque de confort du matelas, on est carrément couché sur les ressorts ! Si non, tout le reste nickel .

Las veces que voy a Sevilla trato siempre de hospedarme en este hotel. Gana puntos por su piscina, que en verano se agradece mucho.

El hotel Tryp esta maravillosamente situado, su piscina resulto algo aglomerada a ultima hora de la tarde pero excelente en tamaño y comodidad. Las vistas desde su terraza son unicas. La unica pega es que la habitacion que nos toco era un poco estrecha y el baño aunque limpio tenia algunos detalles de mantenimiento basico que no cuidan mucho. a pesar que en la reservacion decia que incluia internet inalambrica GRATUITA , se nos dijo que no era asi y solo nos reconocieron un dia , inclusive no quisieron ni siquiera ver la copia de la reserva que teniamos ...y el comentario fue: cualquier cosa demanden a Hotels.com
