Days Inn Banning - Banning

If you're looking for amenities and frills, this is not for you. For just sleeping purposes this is fine. Front desk is very accommodating when in need of something. There is no elevator if you have heavy luggage and assigned to 2nd floor. On the us side - Starbucks is right next door.

Overall it was a fine hotel. Breakfast wasn't much but Starbucks next door made up for that. The furnishings were a bit dated but comfortable and for the most part everything was clean and working. For what we needed it worked well.

The staff was so accommodating and did so much to see to it that we were in the appropriate rooms for our needs. We told then that we would be arriving late and that I could not walk up stairs. So they pre- assigned us our rooms before we got there. I believe the name of the staff member was a girl named Jaytel.... she was great. The rooms were clean […] and well stocked. Hotel was easy to find. It was next to Starbucks and gas station. There is a train that goes by the hotel so it is noisy but tolerable. The room was okay. Breakfast is coffee, apple or orange juice, pastries, cold cereal, and oatmeal packets. There is a complimentary USA today and wi fi. There are plenty of local restaurants such as KFC buffet, a chinese […] buffet, seafood restaurant, to eat nearby the hotel if you need lunch after you check out at 11:00 am. Les mer

The hotel was cheaper than Morongo casino but the cab ride was close to $25 each way, including tip. Starbucks is next door. The hotel is fine, nothing great.

The staff at Days Inn is always very nice. The location is great for my needs. The hotel decor is slightly dated other than that wonderful experience.

Hotel location was good. Directly across the street is a Fresh Seafood Resturant. Best we have had in a couple of years. Several food places to eat. Room was clean, bed comfortable with good pillows. Would not stay there again. Especially for the price. Service was good, but not so clean and noisy. Breakfast was cold cereal and prepackaged rolls and donuts. Beds were hard.

all days inn hotel should have a standard breakfast having toast in the morning. this hotel lacked this but found the room clean and beds and pillows nice and smelling fresh!

Great place, only thing is that there was wadded up men's underwear under one of the beds. I didn't notice until we were leaving...made me feel kind of creeped out.

The cleanliness of the room was not up to standards as far as we're concerned.................the bathroom in particular, was not very clean.............we would not return

The days inn was very close to Ontario airport, about 35 minutes. Easy to find. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was very limited but had the basics to get the morning off to a quick start. Starbucks is next door for those who need an extra jolt. For the price it was worth the weekend stay. We will definitely stay here for the same event we were here […] for next year too. Les mer

Good condition and clean rooms. It is the nearest hotel that I can find to Palm Spring Outlet (around 10 kms) and there are many restaurants within 5 kms. We choose Siszler which is only 3 kms away.

We were down there for a family funeral, we were on a very limited budget. The funeral was just about 10 min from the hotel, so the location was good. The staff was friendly and helpful too. The rooms were in good condition and the beds were very comfortable. There were only 2 drawbacks-- one wall in the bathroom had some spots on it that, to me, were […] somewhat suspicious, resembling mildew, but not sure. The other drawback was a big one for us. The hotel is advertised as having free continental breakfast. But the breakfast selection was merely a few cold mini muffins, a few donuts, a pitcher of milk, 2 types of single serving boxed cereal, OJ & apple juice & coffee. No toast (no toaster), no hot foods, such as waffles or pancakes. All the breakfast items with the exception of the beverages are unhealthy and full of sugar. This should be changed. Overall, I would definitely stay there again for the price, it was a decent value. Les mer

The room was nice enough and we were happy until we realized that the bottom of our feet were black from walking on the carpet in the room. Not sure what was on the floor, but that was unpleasant...

Was not happy. The room had very old furniture n a horrible beadspread. Not comfortable to lounge, only to sleep. Not worth the price.

Really easy freeway access, but the train/truck traffic was really loud and kept us awake at night. Price was decent and continental breakfast was ok...very clean and comfortable.

We came to see the Dinosaur Museum and decided to stay at Days Inn. It was small but clean and homey. Customer service was good. The only bad thing about this place is that it is next to the highway and if your a light sleeper like me, it's a little hard to fall asleep because you can hear the highway traffic. The receptionist asked for cash for our pet deposit. Seemed a little unusual to me. This hotel is right on the freeway with a train nearby. If you sit in the pool you can watch the traffic speed by. Regularly stay here when in the atea because of the comfort of the room and friendliness of staff. The only complaint was a big cobweb over the bed which the maids apparently didn't notice because they didn't look up.

The room was wonderful, beds comfortable; the room looked clean and even smelled clean as we entered it. We liked that there was a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Continental breakfast was just that--not spectacular, but location was close to loved ones for our visit over Christmas and highly satisfactory.

We only stayed for the night but the hotel appeared to be in very good condition. The room was very clean and comfortable and the hotel is located near the interstate and shopping.

When we got there there was only one person running the whole hotel. He gave usnour room keys and we went to the room.. Walked into a hot, un vacuumed room, there were markings all over the wall, I picked up the information sheet left for visitors and it was crumpled and torn and there was sauce on the front, We were all unpacked and I went into the […] bathroom and there were ants all over the faucet in the bathtub and on the bottom of the bathtub, we tried to call the front desk and there was no answer.. We gave up on the third try and walked out we saw a man who was the only one working and we told him, he put us in a different room, this room was nice and cool and looked a lot neater.. I am very upset that he tried to pawn the nastiest room on us girls. Then to make matters worse I think they check us out because when we got back from shopping none of our room keys worked! So we had to go up front and have them re set where the lady gave us an attitude.. So much for a fun birthday get away. Les mer

I didn't want to shell out a lot for a few hours shut eye so I placed a reservation and dropped in around 6am and checked out around 9:30am. It was a good location because there were many places to eat around there as well as a Starbucks right in front. The best part was that although it was extremely low maintenance, it was extremely clean. The front […] desk attendant was very hospitable and I wouldn't judge this place next to a five star hotel, however, it provided the necessary two beds in a spacious room. This hotel serves its prupose perfectly. It was quiet and comfortable. Close to places to eat and right next door to Starbucks. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay while in Banning or surrounding areas. Great deal for the price!

The Days Inn in Banning CA is not shiny new, but is clean and comfortable, convenient to fast foods, grocery, and the Morongo Casino. I would not rely on the breakfast provided (not much to select from) but the staff was welcoming and friendly and the room was quiet and comfy.
