Flott hotell med god service. Restaurant rett over gaten med verdens beste frokost!

Hotellet ligger veldig sentralt på Fishermann's Wharf. Her var det mye å velge i for en tradisjonell turist som gjerne er interessert i utflukter med guide. Ellers var det ikke langt til Italian district, Chinatown eller downtown med sine kjøpesentre. Rommet vi fikk var stort, med stort bad og en god seng, og i generelt i god stand. Veldig fornøyd.

Nice hotell, good located. Swimming pool area was great. but cleaning staff were to eager to clean the room in the morning. like entering the room 4 times before 0900. Even if told to wait some hours. Bed was not very good considering the price of the hotel. Food in restaurant was ok. But not great, and staff were to slow. sitting 15 minutes to wiat […] for the menu. Because of location and that it is all in all a nice hotel I would stay there again. Les mer

We were very happy with the service and the personel at the Hotel. We will definitly stay at your Hotel on our next visit to San Framncisco.

Our family had a great time at the Hyatt on Fishermans Warf. We enjoyed the location. It was close to all the restaurants, boat tours, and public transportation. No need to rent a car. We look forward to staying there again.

This was my first stay at a "Hyatt" hotel and I truly enjoyed the experience. The room was large, comfortable, and clean. The breakfast buffet offered a nice selection and was delicious. I would, and intend to stay here the next time I'm in the Bay area.

Upon arrival, we were told there was not any (two bed) rooms available, even though that is what I booked. We were offered a king bed room with a "roll-away bed" at no extra charge, in a lager room. The room was very small, and even smaller with the roll-away bed in place. There was construction of the pool area in progress, which created noise, and […] most importantly, a strong odor of some type of chemical was present in our room (they don't tell you these things when you book the room). Upon complaining to management, we were quickly moved to another room (with 2 beds) and offered $100 to spend at the hotel on things like room service and at the restaurant down stairs. The management also picked up the bill for the parking garage, so all in all, we were comped one night. The management team did a relatively good job to try to make me feel better, however, it was too little, too late. From the time I showed up, things did not feel right...........The Courtyard/Marriott was a much better place to stay, for about the same price. Les mer

Everything was great at this hotel but the service was a bit disappointing. I do not expect a free breakfast and/or internet when I stay at hotels but the front desk could have at least notified me that the free coffee in the lobby was not available after 7:00am when I checked in. Upon checking out I was informed that there was indeed a coffee pot […] in the room but it was in a drawer. Odd place for a coffee pot but okay. Not a bad hotel but not necessarily one I will go out of my way to return to in the future. Les mer

Good location, decent rooms even if it takes forever to get to them from the elevator! Got breakfast buffet included and that was great. Good deal for the price.

We chose the Hyatt at Fisherman's Wharf thinking it would be a safe choice for a convenient , reasonably priced, uncrowded Xmas stay. Correct on all counts. Suspect in summer time the crowds might make the area less desirable but worked great for us this holiday season. Bargain rooms a very long walk from elevators but clean and well appointed. BEEN STAYING IN SAN FRAN LAST 12 CHRISTMASES. LOVE THE HOTELS IN THE WHARF AREA. HYATT VERY NICE (SHOWER HEAD RECESSED INTO CEILING NOT A GOOD DESIGN) AND THE STAFF ARE EXCELLENT! KNUCKLES IS A GREAT SPORTS BAR W/ EXCEPTIONAL BARTENDERS. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

The Hyatt at Fisherman's Wharf is a very nice property. Great staff and Great location. I will certainly return.

The hotel is within two blocks of Fisherman's Wharf. The service was terrific as was the breakfast. Rooms were clean and comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Hyatts is suppose to be top of the line.......Not This Hyatt......Our room was very clean, our bed was lumpy with big dips in the mattress....it was broken....at 11pm the hotel went crazy with people screaming and yelling and trying to get into our room......I called the front desk 3 times....they did nothing.....security never came up to our room and […] the front desk never called us back ......when I complained the next day they did not want to move us to another room until I told them I would call the San Francisco Police the next time it happened. We were then given a different room but we had to move all of our luggage ourselves.....they did give us 5,000 Hyatt points.....big deal, that will get you a cup of coffee, maybe......Won't stay here again and you shouldn't either......other choices are Sheraton, Marriot, Hilton, Holdiday Inn, just to name a few, all on the same street....... Excellent choice if you desire to stay within walking distance from Fisherman's Wharf, as it is just a few short blocks away. The hotel included breakfast for it's guests and it was a huge savings and a a major advantage to choosing this hotel. The breakfast selections were awesome. Catching a cab right out front was extremely easy as well. The hotel […] restaurant's (Knuckels) staff was very friendly, the front desk was friendly and the concierge was average helpful. The bellboy was great at catching us a cab, ran right out front and flagged one down for us. My wife wished the lighting in the room was better for makeup purposes, but that was as close as we can come to a negative. Would definitely recommend The Hyatt at Fisherman's Wharf and I myself would stay here again. Les mer

Beginning with the evening valet, evening desk clerk, bellman, the condition of the room (I even commented on how good the room smelled when I walked in the door - a rarity), room service, day desk clerk, day bellman and ending with the day valet - all made for an impeccable hotel experience. The room was clean and everything (with the exception of […] the TV remote) was in good working condition. Because all was so well, I did not report that the TV remote was not working - rather I took the time to read a book and bask in comfort and quiet. Everything from Checking in to answering questions, etc was fantastic. Staff levels were good, not much waiting.

We loved this hotel! All the staff-front desk, hostess, waitresses, maids, janitors were all so friendly. We got a special which included breakfast buffet that was the best breakast buffet we've ever had! The orange juice tasted fresh, the melons were sweet (this is Nov), the omelets and hashbrowns were tasty, and they offered a granola that tasted […] homemade. I'm so sick of high-end hotels that put cheap, nasty, 'maxwell house' ish coffee in the rooms. ARE YOU SERIOUS? Not only does the coffee suck but then you have sweet-n-low... and no cream but that powdered crap? I realize this won't resonate with everyone, but for this business traveler the first cups of coffee set the whole day in motion. The best […] hotel chain I've stayed at this year was Doubletree b/c they had Wolfgang Puck coffee in the room! Ok, the breakfast included option for our stay made sense until we GOT THERE! They don't open until 6:30... we had to leave by 7 every day so there was just no time. Also, don't add a line for a tip when it's already precalculated & billed to me. That's just sneaky! Les mer

Great, friendly staff. Noisy back street where our room was on 2nd floor. Lots of loud cars. Room was very comfortable.

Nice hotel, friendly personnel. Rooms are large and clean, the only disappointment was that there is no place to sit outside on warm days, no patio or pool, not even bench or roof terrace or balconies

disappointed there was no fridge in the room and there is no free wireless access it is available at a high fee $12.00 dollars per day you can go to starbucks to check emails ect. very dated decor not worth the money there are better deals to be had in San Francisco

Hotel ok. Overpriced in world terms for what it is. It is in line with other local hotels but definately overpriced. Internet charges excessive. Probably would look for something else if I visited again. False Fire alarm went off in middle of night and hotel evacuated. No apology or explanation given.

Went on roadtrip around California, and this was worst hotel stayed at. For a 3 star hotel the rooms were awful. They couldnt get our names right to the room and confused us with our friends, so all charges to room were attempted to b put on friends card, DESPITE us informing them on 3 occasions they were wrong!!!Workon roof was very noisy and they […] charge for WIFI and Parking. When we asked why we were told Wifi is expensive in San Fransico, but there is a travelodge up the road that have them both for free... Considering this was expensive as the Bellagio in Vegas, forget it, waste of money for a poor hotel. Les mer

A great place to stay and kick start our US adventure - nice and comfortable rooms, friendly staff - but the $5 for bottled water was a little steep when the same bottle could be round around the corner for half the price plus the room had no fridge but neither of these points would stop me from staying again.

Excellent hotel, 1.5 blocks from the sea & The Wharf. Hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful, rooms large, comfortable and clean. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Fisherman's Wharf.

Can't go wrong with the Hyatt! It is located in walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf, bus stops, shopping are all close by. In the PM the lobby has available ice tea (favor change each day). The rooms are large and comfortable. The negative, room's do not have a great view but more reason to wake up and walk to Fisherman's Wharf and our room had a […] small stain on the wall near the door. All and all for the price and location a great place to stay! Les mer

Very nice hotel in a great location, bus stop outside rear of hotel which can get noisy in the morning.

Highly recommend in great area only 2mins from Pier 39 and Powell St cablecar.

We were impressed with the friendliness of the staff. Everyone spoke to us with a "Good morning!" And each staff member was patient and efficient with whatever we requested. We thought it was by far the nicest hotel in the area and the most convenient for our interests. We would recommend it to anyone!

Hotel rooms need some updating. Pricey!

So it's true friendliness and good service takes you a long way but for the good service our complete experience would have been horrible!!! The main expectation of staying in a hotel is for the hotelbto "make me feel" as if they wash the previous guest completely away!!!!! Sanitized the place if you will, however we found a dirty baby spoon on the […] chair, a eyeliner pencil dipped in gum no less, an ex lax pill on the floor and the name "Michael" written on the mirror that showed up after we showered! No michaels in our group! Long story short it felt discusting in that room. I completely understand several people use these rooms but could you wash them away after each use???? Please???? This hotel is situated right in the heart of the action in San Francisco - we stayed 2 nights and were able to walk to the Golden Gate Bridge, eat fantastic seafood, join the hop-on-hop-off bus to view the city, and also enjoyed the hotel facilities, especially the sports bar and restaurant.

Outstanding Staff they have gone out of their way to ensure our visit always ran smoothly from the porter, to the checking in, and through out our stay as well as checking out, staff was always very professional and helpful. Rooms were clean and spacious and the bed was very comortable. Rain head shower only in the room. Full plunge shower only, no quick rinse. No bath tub in the room can be ok but after a a day walking around the city the hot tub is packed. Location is great. Convenient to trolly and Wharf.

If doing the tourist thing this is a great location. Public transportation is all around and will take you everywhere. My only complaint would be the charge for WiFi, it is quite expensive and must be bought daily.

The location for sightseeing of Fishermans wharf, Ghiradelli square, Pier 39, Alcatraz tours, (I highly recommend dinner at the restaurant opposite the pier called The Hillstone, the atmosphere is great and the food just fabulous) Golden gate bridge could not be better. It is a block or two away from the main row of restaurants and shops at Fishermans […] wharf so its quiet but close enough to all the amenities you would need to find. The tram stop (the turntable) is also just two blocks away which is well worth the ride. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are great. The bed is very comfortable and we always managed to have a great nights rest after a long day sight seeing. Each day they put on complimentary flavoured water at reception or in the afternoon if it's chilly they would offer hot chocolate - really nice touch! And just what we needed after cycling the bridge. The hollywood cafe just opposite the hotel does the best breakfast I have ever had in the states. You seriously can't go wrong with this hotel, if we ever go back to San Francisco which one day I would love to, we would definately stay there again. Les mer
