Enkelt og bra hotell i Europeisk stil (les: litt shabby), meget sentralt. Hyggelig betjening, rent og ikke spesielt lytt. Veldig bra valuta for pengene. Anbefales!

Hotellet ligger meget sentralt til med kort vei til det meste. Komfortabelt, rent og god service. Gratis vinsmaking og nakkemassasje ved siden av resepsjonen fra 17-18 (meget praktisk etter en hektisk dag med sightseeing og shopping). :-)

Et fint og rent hotell med hyggelige ansatte. Ingenting negativt å si om hotellet, men nabolaget har en del uteliggere i noen kvartaler ned mot sentrum. Opplevde derimot ikke noe ubehagelig. Det er også svært kort vei ned til sentrumsområdet og Market street, og taxi er veldig billig slik at man slipper å gå på kveldstid. Fint hotell i forhold til hvor billig det var!

Hotellet ligger svært sentralt både for shopping og opplevelser i San Francisco. Vi trivdes svært godt der, og vil sannsynligvis vurdere hotellet neste gang vi skal til San Francisco. Hotellet er litt slitt, men rent og hyggelig. Personellet er ikke overhjelpsomme, men tar man kontakt og spør om hjelp så hjelper de deg!

Rundt Union Square ligger kjente butikker med noe av det mest avantgarde varehandelen på vestkysten kan by på. "putting on the Ritz"
My husband and I went to celebrate our 30th anniversary. We had a wonderful time. The staff was very nice and professional. I had to remind the hotel 3 times that my husband and I were there to celebrate our anniversary. I was surprise that they did not make note of it after I made 2 phone calls regarding it. But they were really nice and ended up giving […] us an upgrade in our room and breakfast. They had a club level which I think is why too expensive and not worth it.They also just finished remodeling the dining room, which we felt was way too modern for Ritz standards. I think guest expect elegance when they go to the Ritz. I hope they don't continue to make it too modern. We love the classic elegant feel to this location. We are looking forward to our next stay. It was the perfect place to stay at Christmas time. The decorations were lovely, the staff very helpful but not pretentious and the newly opened restaurant and bar delicious. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the short walk in the great weather to Union Square.

A couple minuses for the Ritz of San Francisco was Annie at the Reservations Desk. She was blatantly rude and seemed to have a very lazy attitude towards the guests. Besides her, the rest of the staff was very accommodating and eager to appease us. One of the concierge was 50/50 helpful, just didn't seem the type that would work so much as to making […] sure our outdoor experience was successful and positive. I think the Ritz staff(Concierge) should be educated on what quality sushi is and where to find it. Ritz, please talk to the individuals listed in the aforementioned. The Ritz-Carlton SF is a great hotel! The staff are very thoughtful and helpful and they anticipate your needs and don't just ask if they can be helpful, they are doers and with sincereity. We love the fresh baked cookies. The staff and the food made our stay great. The only down-side was the $70/day valet parking charge. We didn't even move our car […] after we arrived, we walked everywhere. And upon check-out there was an absolute nightmare congestion problem between people waiting for the taxis and other guests loading luggage. So we had to wait 15 minutes to get our car. And then we were rushed to throw our bags in the car and get out of the way so the congestion could ... keep going I guess. At $70 per night (more than we've paid anywhere for valet parking) I expect the parking to be top notch, provide a bottle of water, maybe even clean the windows but if not that, the parking better be efficient in/out. At the Ritz-Carlton SF valet parking and the carport area, we were woefully disappointed based on the $70 charge. There were no perks and the basic car service of bring it quickly and efficetly was a disappointment. There are several garages nearby offering $20-30 per day. And the cost, let's face it, is not that big of a deal if they provide the right level of service. The parketing staff are polite as you wait but the efficiency and value are TERRIBLE. Ritz-Carlton gets 0 stars for valet parking, they have work to do there! But our overall stay was excellent. It's just sad that a great hotel stay was bookended with such sub-par arrival and departure service. Oh well ... Les mer

Having stayed at over 50 different hotels in San Francisco over a number of years, we definitely rate the Ritz Carlton as Number One. Great attention to detail, incomparable service, a marvelous facility.

We booked a double bed room. When we got there, they told us no double bed was available, everything was taken. How is that possible when we booked and confirmed for one. How can you over book. So we ended up with a king bed and had to get them to set up a cot. It was a very bad experience, especially when booked and confirmed a double bed room. In […] addition, lights were not working, had to have them come and check out the lamps. Shower was not working properly, In all, this has been the worst experience at Ritz Carlton. "Ritz SF-going downhill!"
The hotel was convenient, but definitely not five stars. There are many better options in SF.
Very comfortable and quiet room, marble bathroom, great food and bar, and walking distance to so many attractions. First class hotel with their recent $12M improvements and upgrades.

"Totally Overpriced, Unexceptional, Old and Stuffy"
If you're looking for a name ("The Ritz"), a location ("Nob Hill") and a stuffy, old, outdated (though clean and quiet) room, then this is your hotel. But the overpriced everything else that comes along with it is outdated and no longer justified the exorbitant costs. Totally unexceptional. "Parking is too expensive."
I do not know the avarage overnight parking rate in San Francisco; however, $70 per night for parking at Ritz seems too pricy.
"Terrible service"
I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. I have never in my life been treated so rudely by a valet. I would have left for the Mayfair right away but we were only there for 2 nights so we thought we would just get it over with. The hotel was nicely decorated but the beds were not very comfortable. "Hotel Ritz-Carlton - o melhor de SF!"
Não tenho dúvidas em afirmar que é o melhor hotel em que me hospedei e o melhor de São Francisco - CA. A localização é perfeita (a poucos passos do centro comercial Union Square e dos locais mais cools da cidade). O preço da diária é salgado sim, mas é proporcinal ao padrão do hotel (altíssimo nível).
とても素敵な外観。、ロビーの柱やシャンデリアも素敵。 スタッフも笑顔で迎えてくれ、とても良い滞在が始まると内心嬉しく思っていましたが、部屋に入ると、1室3名で予約したにも関わらず、バスタオル、アメニティー、ミネラルウォーターなど、2名分しか用意されていませんでした。クローゼットの扉も片方がスムーズに開きませんでした。二つある電話も片方がつながっていませんでした。コーヒーやミネラルウォーターの補充もされていない日が1日ありました。その日はあきらかに、ベッドメイキングも前日のシーツをきれいに直しただけでした。今回初めてのリッツ滞在でとても残念でした。やはりクラブフロアの滞在でないと、きめ細かいサービスはしてもらえないのでしょうか。
