Hotell med super beliggenhet til alt som er vært å se, samt offentlig transport til og fra Firenze. Gamle erværdig byggningsmasse, men vedlikehold og kvalitet samsvarer ikke med de 4 stjerner som hotellet har. Aircondition var ikke eksisterende, og interiør (også badet) fra en gang på 70 tallet, muliggens gjordt rent på 80 tallet. Et hotell med stort […] potensiale, men i behov av renovasjon. Les mer

Hotellets resepsjonister er som oftest ikke tilgjengelig. Lang ventetid. Når en leverer nøkkelen til rommet for å gå ut, blir denne liggende i lang lang tid før resepsjonen legger denne i hylla.

Flott beliggenhet, nydelig dekorerte rom og fantastisk frokostsal. Bra senger og grei rom størrelse. Vi var imodlertid plaget med lukt på hotellet generelt, tidvis kloakkliknende lukt, men ellers var alt meget bra.

fantastic location but a realy tired and smelly hotel.Constant smell of drains if this is a four star hotel then they musy have bribed the inspectors .Our room was the standard of a 1 or 2 star. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Florence (just walking distance) The building itself has seen better days. It must've been a very elegant hotel in it's days but currently it is outdated. No working hair dryer in my room, the drains clog easily, the beds are firm a little uncomfortable. They only offer wi-fi in the common area (lobby […] or bar) and it is located within the ZTL (zona traffico limitado) which only affects those who are driving themselves. I liked the area very much. My stayed at this hotel was decent. I meant to share the facts. We loved their restaurant four course menu for Easter. Great food. Convenient location and also easy access to train station. Breakfast buffet was very good. The hotel made for a very enjoyable trip.

Like everyone else, this hotel does have a great location. It's centered in between the Duomo and the train station. BUT like everyone else...the hotel definitely had old furniture, etc but it was nice in general. We felt it was also slightly haunted for some reason. It definitely gave off some creepy vibes while we stayed there. The shower door (like […] the rest of the European showers) only covers half the bath tub which caused a lot of water to be all over our bathroom floor...we also noticed there was a leak under a certain area too. We told management about the leak. They said the maintenance guy fixed it but we noticed the water puddles the next 2 mornings (which is dangerous if you ask me). The bed was decent unlike all the other beds we slept on while in Italy. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed the free wi-fi (although it's only available in the hotel lobby). We had a great stay at this hotel. It was all around the best place (and we stayed in 4 hotels on our trip). Rooms have lots of room. Our opened to a little mid-roof patio. Upper bar is lovely. Breakfast was the best on our trip - great spread of delicious food. It is only a couple blocks from the Duomo and other great sights. The restaurant across […] the street was delicious and had wonderful wines. It does have an old world hotel feel - not modern at all - but we found that to be a part of its charm. THe location was excellent and the staff could not do enough for oyu. The view from our room was the best. There are great cafe's and resturants nearby and the markets just down the street.

You can tell this used to be a beautiful hotel. The fixtures and furniture are very old but the hotel room itself is very clean. The hallways smell musty but the location of the hotel makes up for it. It was very close to everything. We thought it was charming and a great price and would stay there again.

The hotel is perfectly situated in Florence. 5 minute walk from the train station, 5 minute walk to the Duomo. The room was clean and the staff was helpful. Lots of great restaurants in the area and everything was in walking distance. My only negative comment would be about the typical European shower. (Don't know why they can't figure them out over […] there) Regardless, I would definitely stay there again. You will be dissapointed if you think you are getting a luxury hotel, it's just very basic. We had a double delux, and it wasnt very nice so we asked to see another room, but that was much worse. They have one part of the hotel thats been done up at ok standard, but the old part of the hotel is bad. Basic breakfast, nothing good or fancy. Roof top was […] closed, so the picture is not true. The hotel was close to some very nice resturants. Our room didn't have a working phone. The room was in need of some decorating. The bathroom was dirty. There was long black hair on the floor as if someone cleaned their brush the night before and the floor hadn't been vaccuumed or washed. Would not stay there or recommend the facility. The service was excellent. The view on the 6th floor of the hotel overlooks the Duomo and is priceless. The breakfast is awesome and includes many things....The location is very convenient, walking distance to the train station and just down the street from all the major attractions. I would stay there again for sure!

EXELLANT LOCATION CLOSE TO MAIN RAILWAY STN AND OTHER TOURIST ATTRACTIONS ECT

This hotel stunk of mold from the moment of entry. The room was tiny not the superior room we had booked. The management also stated that they did not provide king size beds and I showed him a copy of the downloaded confirmation which stated that we arranged for a superior room with a king sized bed that they offered. He then gave us a key to another […] room which was a superior size with a king bed. However, they were both on the fifth floor under the leaky roof which no doubt caused the overpowering mold smell. We just stayed one night in a discounted rate room. It was small consequently, and the wooden furniture was warn, and old carpeting, but the things that "count" were great: a wonderful, clean bathroom, and a comfortable bed with fine sheets, also good lighting. Lovely view from the rooftop patio and bar. We thought it a good value hotel.

This hotel is ideally situated near to the local markets. The hotel itself is full of Baroque art work. Rooms are very pleasant. Bathroom was not modern but adequate. Breakfast was good

This hotel has a lot to recommend it - good location near the historic sights, the fact that it is housed in an impressive historic palace (with a really impressive frescoed breakfast room) and really helpful reception staff. But it is almost dilapidated at the level of the accommodation - worn-out carpets, damp smells, old-fashioned batrhrooms, ancient […] and slow lifts. FABULOUS location and nice hotel. But, yes - the room and the bath are VERY small....and the shower in tub leaks water all over unless you are very careful. AC was very weak. Could use a little updating.

The hotel had good facilities and great location. It was 5 minutes walking from the Main Duomo. There was some noise on the street which was accentuated by not being able to control the A/C and have to have the window open. For a 4 star hotel I believe one should be able to control the A/C. Great hotel with wonderful original artworks and opulent finishes, had a wonderful view of the Duomo.

Hotel is just falling apart. It does smell a lot. Rooms are very old and need refurbishment urgently. Even the lobbies are dirty. One of the lift broke down when we were there. We left after just one night. By far for the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. And Boscolo dares calling it a "first class" hotel. What a joke...

If you can get a room at this hotel at a really low discount, it is well worth staying at this faded grand old hotel. Seems like something from another time and place, NOT the four star superior hotel it is rated to be.

Location is superb --- extremely convenient : just five minutes walk from train station and right in middle of happening market place and next door to all key places of tourist attraction. Down side issues are : very old furnishing of rooms , no internet in rooms , smelly carpets , overall poor upkeep of the hotel infrastructure . They have some funny […] rooms (two floor) with no windows and have tendency to palm off those to you but dont hesitate to protest and ask for change -- in our case they happily changed . Les mer

We loved the convenience of our hotel. It was a nice casual walk to the Duomo, the market, major museums, wonderful restaurants, and the train station.

Hotel was about a 5 minute walk to the Spanish steps. Also about a minute walk to the subway which was a super easy way to get around Rome. Hotel staff was very helpful. Room was clean, comfortable and cool. We were very pleased with the hotel.

Very old, awful smell in entire hotel from kitchen and old carpeting

The Hotel is located 2 minutes walk from the trainstation and 5 minutes walk from the Dumo, so location couldn't be better. However, when we checked in, there was no bellboy to help us with our bags and take us to our room. The room smelled really bad and we had to change it. The second room we got was ok, but extremely small for a double room. The […] closet door wouldn't open fully because they hit the bed. The AC was working good, so that was ok. But the bathroom wasn't exceptionally clean, the tub was rusty. The hotel has great character, but it needs a lot of rennovation to be a disant 4 star hotel. The carpets need to be changed in all of the hotel, because the whole hotel smelled funny. We arrived at night so were too tired to go out for dinner and opted to have the aperitivo at the roof top, which was opened from 6pm to midnight. However, when we went up around 10pm, it was dark and there was no service there at all. Small things that make a difference are also lacking, like how to call the reception. There was no card next to the phone that would let you know how to call different services, as if you had to guess them yourself. On the overall, if you are staying 1-2 nights and want proximity to the train station, you would consider staying there, but for longer stays definitly not. Les mer

wonderful location, helpful staff, some rooms a bit shabby eg frayed carpet, but bathrooms modern.

Although, the hotel was pretty old and several things did not work well there. The stay was pleasant and the staff nice, they spoke english, which is rare in Italy. The room was old, carpet, AC did not work, phone, there is no english channels to watch. However, the decor of the hotel and the architecture was so amazing and beautiful. Our two night stay in early September at Boscolo Astoria was quite pleasurable, though the hotel condition and amenities were not not what we would expect from a Boscolo branded hotel. The hotel was in an excellent location, a brief walk (with rolling suitcases) over from the rail station. Once checked-in it was only a few minutes in any direction to […] all the major attractions, including the Duomo and the museum. If a taxi was required, there were ample to be found around the street corner. A few gripes with the hotel included our A/C being too weak to adequately cool the room. The staff was accommodating and placed an extra cooling fan tower for the night, and offered to relocate us for the following night. The overall condition of the room was good, but the hotel condition is not representative of its four start rating. Overall, a good stay in a good location, but is not consistent with the brand. Very good location, you did not need a taxi, walking distance to everywhere. Staff is very friendly, room was clean and very big. the only one thing that we didn't like was an airconditioner- it was really hot in the room.i would recomment it to everyone. Helen

This hotel claims to have AC but in reality only the top two floors have AC. Unfortunately they did not mention this until they gave us a room without AC. July in Florence is not pleasant. Overall appearance was average. No shower door made for interesting post shower clean up. Breakfast was good and terrace had a great look.

Gorgeous hotel, very friendly and helpful staff who couldn't do more. Fantatic location close to all of the main tourist attractions! Brilliant roof terrace with views that rival some of the other attractions. Highly recommended. Good value for money and you won't find better!

Stayed there for two nights at the end of May. The location was really 5-10 minute walk from the train station and the staff were very accommodating. The room didn't exactly match the pictures on the website but I wasn't too disappointed having traveled in Europe many times. Hotellet ligger väldigt centralt i den gamla delen av Florence, men gångavstånd till alla sevärdighter. Perfekt läge! Reception och frukost matsal är imponerande med sin arkitektur och antik stil, men dessvärre tyckte jag inte att rummen uppfyllde samma atmosfär. Slitet badrum och en sliten gammal heltäckningsmatta i rummet. Helt ok säng men det är […] också det enda som var något att vara glad över. För ett 4 stjärnigt hotel kan man förvänta sig en modernare TV, nyare och hel matta, samt lite bekvämare bad. Annars som ett turisthotel där man bara ska tillbringa natten är det helt ok, men det finns bättre. Les mer

整个酒店就是一件艺术品，也是一件古董，酒店的露台、早餐厅都太棒太棒了，虽然不如现代的酒店住的舒适，但是来弗洛伦萨绝对是值得一住的酒店，也只有在意大利才有可能享受这样的酒店。

Muss einmal ein sehr gutes Hotel gewesen sein, inzwischen etwas sanierungsbedürftig, aber sauber und alles in allem empfehlenswert. sehr schöne dachterrasse mit bar!

Отель Астория поражает своим внутренним интерьером. Древнее здание сохраняет дух замка, но при этом имеет очень приятную атмосферу. Прекрасный вид открывался из номера на улочки и крыши Флоренции. Завтрак был классическим и хорошим. На ресепшене очвень вежлево обслуживали и старались помочь в любой возникшей проблеме отдыхающих. Hotel in posizione ottima, vicinissimo al centro , camere enormi e stato generale eccellente. Una nota negativa la qualità della colazione davvero pessima (caffe imbevibile) , per il resto albergo più che buono. Consigliato

Very nice hôtel... We really loved the view on the balconne it's was amazing! Clean and confortable. Close to the Dömo and situated in downtown at two streets of the central station train.
