Topp betjening og meget godt hotell. Behagelig frokost med det man ønsker seg- Vi hadde superior som var mer enn stort nok for to. Synd det ligger inneklemt i bebyggelsen

Kvelden før avreise ringte vi resepsjonen og ba om en forhåndsbestilling av taxi til kl 0545 dagen etter. Kl 0445 ble vi oppringt og fortalt at taxien var kommet. Da vi sa at dette var en time for tidlig, nektet resepsjonisten og sa vi hadde bestilt bilen til dette tidspunktet. Vi ba da om at taxien skulle komme tilbake en time senere. Kl 0530 ringte […] vi for å sjekke at alt var i orden og da viste det seg at taxien igjen var kommet!. Vel nede i resepsjonen smilte resepsjonisten som om alt var i orden da vi betalte, men det viste seg at taxameteret sto på 70 SFR - hotellet hadde ikke gjort noe for å ordne opp med taxisjåføren. Skulle det være noe tvil om hvilke beskjeder som ble gitt vedr. taxiens ankomsttid, gjelder vel den gamle regelen om at "kunden har alltid rett" - dette hotellet følger tydeligvis ikke dette prinsippet. 300 - 400 kr er ikke mye for hotellets gode navn og rykte. Fantastiske senger! Sov som et barn, selv om rommet var lite og holdt norsk hyttestil.... og litt stiv pris... Dersom komfort og en god natts svøn er viktigere enn estetikk er dette absolutt å anbefale. Nærheten til sentrum er upåklagelig, men det var likevel stille på rommet.

Comfortable room, within walking distance of the main train station, but if you have bags, grab a cab if you can. Bed was comfortable, breakfast was great! ONLY drawback was internet - you can only buy in increments of 15, 30 and 60 minutes. Apparently they're in dispute with swisscom over something. Second time staying here. Was upgraded, which was very nice. The hotel has some nice features that aren't commonly found in Europe, like a hot water pot (with tea and instant coffee) as well as irons/ironing boards upon request. Nicely decorated with very nice bathrooms and beds.

very comforable hotell in a very convenient location.

We spent 4 days at the Hotel Continental Zurich and had a most enjoyable stay. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the main station and lots of tram stops. Upgraded my room without having to ask- - the room and bathroom were more spacious than I expected. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. About a 10-minute walk to old town, so not too bad. Breakfast is pricey, but I think worth it!

We were very impressed with our room. It was great value for money as it was very comfortable as well as very close to the Hauptbahnhoff and major shopping areas.

The staff were competent, helpful and friendly. The room was clean and quite. Reservations met my requests for a high room and early check in. Plenty to eat for breakfast. We went to zurich to get engaged. the city was perfect. everybody was friendly and helpful particularly in the old town. On arrival at the hotel we were greeted warmly and presented with a variety of maps and brochures which edmond then went through with us in great detail and answered all our questions patiently. this was the standard for our stay. […] At breakfast we were greeted warmly and we always felt comfortable in the hotel. I have two criticisms: we booked a superior room and feel it should have a couch to relax on instead of two chairs and a small table as the room also has a desk. secondly, the bar is not particularly inviting, without atmosphere for those that like to have a drink in the hotel. The bed was the most comfortable i have ever experienced in a hotel. I would like to single out edmond for particular praise as we had most of our dealings with him and he was very professional and friendly throughout. Les mer

- not that far from the center - too small rooms for this price - crazy price for a cup of tee - 10CHF - Friendly stuff - good and not dry air in the rooms - nice bathroom - dont take single room, way too small - broken pay TV option

It was hard to find a hotel in Zurich that fit my budget. It seemed to be quite an expensive town and I finally settled on Hotel Continental which I thought was a bit farther from downtown than I would normally want, but had to sacrifice something to lower the price. I was very pleasantly surprised at how close this was. A reasonable 10 minute walk […] had you in the middle of the downtown area and the staff were great. We were greeted by two younger woman, I would guess no older than 25 each, and they were helpful, professional, and spent a lot of time giving us recommendations for dinner. The room was warm and cozy (and quite large) and very comfortable. During a 9 night stay in Germany/Austria/Switzerland in 8 hotels, this was by far my favorite place. Definitely recommend it for the price (steep, but almost $100 cheaper than places just a few blocks closer). Les mer

Best of the 4 hotels we stayed in over a two week trip round Europe in terms of comfort of the beds. Breakfast was plentiful (if expensive) and served in calm, elegant surroundings on beautiful china. Staff were helpful and unobtrusive. I found this hotel to be delightful. From the moment I checked in to the moment I left, the service was excellent. Everyone was very friendly. The hotel staff were very friendly and professional. We only stayed one night in Zurich and booked the standard room which was small but very comfortable and good value for Zurich, I believe. Location is good – only five minutes away from the main station and Niederdorf.

Hotel was very well located to downtown Zurich. Staff was very friendly and helpfull. Room was good size and so was the bath. Their breakfast had a lot of choices even when compared to a 5 star hotel i had just stayed 2 days before in Interlaken. Definitely a good family hotel.

Great boutique hotel near both the old part of town and a busy area around train station.

Very convenient walk from the Hbf. In the edge of the old town. Single rooms are small but with refrigerator and desk. The third floor room I occupied was right on the main street but still quiet. Only complain was the very wied lumpy bed....may just be my room but the bed was truly wierd. I would stay there again but make sure you get a good rate.

the hotel was great...I liked the proximity to the old town and train station. The bed was very comfortable and the bath had lovely amenities. Two issues of note: housekeeping took way too long to do the room and, for the price of the place, I shouldn't have had to pay 5 francs to use the computer to check in for my flight and print my boarding passes...cheap […] and overkill. During a 10-day trip to several countries in Europe, I enjoyed the Hotel Continental Zurich more than any other hotel. All in all a very good place to stay at a reasonable price for Zurich. We did find the WiFi a bit hard to use, having to frequently sign back in, then try it again. We also thought it a bit egregious to charge $ 5 for a tray of ice, but perhaps that's the way it goes with other hotels in Zurich as well.

We had a fantastic stay! It's a must-stay hotel should one visit Zurich!!! We had a offer for this stay and it's all worth it!

We were pleased with how quiet the hotel was as it is most essential to get a good night sleep when travelling. The staff was helpful and friendly. The location was perfect as we were able to walk everywhere.

The employees dealing with the guests is so bad and they don't show any respect for the guests especially at hotel restaurant..

The location was great, near to Zurich HB, or 1-min away from nearest tram stop. Great restauarants found near hotel as well. Only drawback was pretty small room with not much of a view to speak of.
