Vi er meget godt fornøyd med oppholdet vårt på hotell Continental og kommer gjerne tilbake en annen gang. Personalet var blide og serviceinnstilt, rommene var fine og frokosten var variert og god.

Hotellrommet var rent og veldig fint. Baderommet var kanskje i det minste laget. I tillegg hadde vi en krane som på kveldstid/nattestid kun hadde varmt vann..... Frokostbuffeten var rikholdig og maten var delikat og innbydende. Servicen var helt ok, men fikk ikke noe særlig inntrykk av at våre kommentarer (eksempelvis med problemer med blandebatteriet) […] ble tatt til etteretning. Les mer

Topp betjening og meget godt hotell. Behagelig frokost med det man ønsker seg- Vi hadde superior som var mer enn stort nok for to. Synd det ligger inneklemt i bebyggelsen

Kvelden før avreise ringte vi resepsjonen og ba om en forhåndsbestilling av taxi til kl 0545 dagen etter. Kl 0445 ble vi oppringt og fortalt at taxien var kommet. Da vi sa at dette var en time for tidlig, nektet resepsjonisten og sa vi hadde bestilt bilen til dette tidspunktet. Vi ba da om at taxien skulle komme tilbake en time senere. Kl 0530 ringte […] vi for å sjekke at alt var i orden og da viste det seg at taxien igjen var kommet!. Vel nede i resepsjonen smilte resepsjonisten som om alt var i orden da vi betalte, men det viste seg at taxameteret sto på 70 SFR - hotellet hadde ikke gjort noe for å ordne opp med taxisjåføren. Skulle det være noe tvil om hvilke beskjeder som ble gitt vedr. taxiens ankomsttid, gjelder vel den gamle regelen om at "kunden har alltid rett" - dette hotellet følger tydeligvis ikke dette prinsippet. 300 - 400 kr er ikke mye for hotellets gode navn og rykte. Fantastiske senger! Sov som et barn, selv om rommet var lite og holdt norsk hyttestil.... og litt stiv pris... Dersom komfort og en god natts svøn er viktigere enn estetikk er dette absolutt å anbefale. Nærheten til sentrum er upåklagelig, men det var likevel stille på rommet.

This hotel was very nice, very clean and comfortable. The room was a very nice size and a little more luxurious than a lot of the hotels I have stayed in in Zurich (chopard shower products was a plus).. It is a couple of blocks from the train station and the main city street.I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The ordinary exterior of the hotel and the dull and busy road it is located in belie the charming and comfortable interior. The staff are excellent, it is in fact quiet and the location near the station is very convenient.

A good choice. They try to be a little different from the usual city hotel. Very nice and friendly Chinese restaurant within the hotel.

The hotel was very nice, the lobby doesn't match the decor of the rooms. The rooms are very modern and chic with a comfortable bed and wonderful toiletries. The only issue we had was with getting directions using the transit system from the concierge. They seemed somewhat unwilling to explain to us even when asked direct questions. We asked about taking […] the train up the mountain which we had read about online and instead of giving us the options they tried to insist we book a tour and handed us pamphlets. I explained that wasn't what we wanted but that was the only option given. A little disappointed as usually you can rely on a concierge to be helpful. Les mer

Great hotel close to the city centre. Buffet breakfast is extensive, room was comfortable though bathroom was a bit small. Staff are excellent. Room price also quite affordable compared to general pricing in Zurich.

The hotel room was overall nice, the breakfast buffet had great variety, and the food was very fresh and delicious. Just have one thing to point out. Our room was on the third floor, however, the window opened up to street level (of the street behind the hotel). Six of us stayed here for one night for a weekend break to celebrate my 50th. We arrived at the hotel just after 10am after an early morning flight. As it was early we had planned on leaving the luggage and then wandering around Zurich as check in wasnt till 2pm. Out of the 4 rooms booked it was a bonus that we were able to check into 2 of them straight […] away. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, even arranging for a lovely birthday surprise when we did get our room. Our room was a superior king and we were very happy with it. Breakfast was very good, nice choice of cereals, breads , hot food , meats and salmon. Overall a very nice stay and we would all stay here again Les mer

We spent only one night in Zurich prior to flying out the next day. We were upgraded to a beautiful king bed room. The linens and bath products were top-notch and the turn-down service with chocolate truffles were a delightful extra touch. Staff are polite and helpful. They provide anything you need including purchases of transportation tickets and excursions. The hotel is very close to the places of interest and town centre.

The hotel was nice enough, but the room was so small that there was hardly anywhere to put your luggage. The receptionist was very friendly and spoke English well and said she had given us one of their best rooms. That quite surprised us when we saw the size of it. Found the hotel to be in an excellent location in Zurich. 10 minute walk from the central train station and main shopping strip as well as being a 5 minute walk to the old town area. Rooms were comfortable and clean and the hotel staff were fantastic - went out of the way to help with all of my requests. Friendly, helpful and professional staff from reception to concierge to bar and dining. Room was quiet, clean, and modern. It was all we could ask for and more than we expected.

Within close walking distance to centre and with excellent connection to public transport, especially central train station. Decor could use a freshen up to give the hotel a more contemporary feel but the staff make up for this by offering good, friendly, efficient service. Twin double glazed windows on the front (road) side cut out all street noise […] but on a downside, offer no opportunity for fresh air, so the room can get a bit stuffy. This hotel is close to the town centre but is obscured by a multiple lane road with heavy traffic. It's quite accessible anyway, and is very good value.

I thought the hotel was excellent for many reasons. It made you feel as if you were in a small cottage and the hotel was extremely clean and the staff was nothing less of excellent. The service was similar to what you expect at the Four Seasons, and specifically Rene greeted us when we got there and gave us a full tutorial of Zurich in 15 minutes. The people at the reception are rude! They do not pay attention to anything you say, it is so horrible for CONTINENTAL HOTEL. they do not even smile, it was our honeymoon, and we did not expect anything, but just a congratulation also could work! We were very pleased with our stay. The hotel is within walking distance to all the major sights in Zurich (even a less than five minute walk to the train station). The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable (we like soft mattresses, so we were happy with the bed and pillows). My mother and I met in Zurich for the weekend and had a wonderful stay at the Continental. The rooms were very comfortable, beds were great, housekeeping excellent, very clean, location good (walking distance to main railway and the old town, tram stop also very close by), internet service fast and reliable. The icing on the cake, however, was the staff: […] Every single one of the hotel staff was friendly, polite, helpful and warm which made for a truly outstanding experience. Particular thanks to Rene from the front desk for making our weekend so memorable by booking a truly outstanding restaurant for us, and also to Valentina of the breakfast staff for so warmly looking after us. Hotel was well located close to main station, lake and other tourist attractions. Hotel staff were friendly and very accomodating to our needs. Clean and comfortable room. Breakfast highly recommended.

The hotel is located nearby the main train station. The surrounding is quiet. A few restaurants just next to hotel. The room is clean and very comfortable. One disadvantage is that not much scenery when you look out of the hotel.

Nice hotel and friendly staff. Just a little walk from the station, but the riverside walk is not bad at all. The hotel breakfast was quite good.

I stayed in this hotel many times before, and always enjoyed it. Hotel is located 5-7 minutes walk from central station. It is good value for money. Hotel is very close to touristy old city area, but slightly to the side (5-10 min walk), which makes it a nice quite area to stay in. Room was small, but good for one person. Room was clean and in good […] condition. Good service. The only complaint is that breakfast was very expensive, but this is typical for Switzerland, and hotel staff will try to accommodate breakfast options.
