"A comfortable and relaxing central location"
Start off by saying this is a great location, very close to the tourist happenings, a few blocks away from the beach, and a 10-15 minute drive from Ecola State Park where there are some nice coastal hikes. Nice wi-fi. We were surprised by the excellent kitchenette and made use of it. We like to make 1/2 of our meals while traveling and eat a lot of […] fruits and veg - so this provided a great space to store and wash produce. Not on the beach but very close - walking distance to beach, promenade and downtown. Very good central location. Our room was very quiet, very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful; front desk was very good. The only negative was the complimentary breakfast which was not up to others in the area. "Seaside Comfort Inn and Suites Great Place"
6 teens and 2 grandma types..= Great stay at Comfort Inn and Suites in Seaside Oregon! We were checked in by two lovely ladies that were very friendly and knowledgable. You can not beat the value as having a hot breakfast each morning for 8 people Really gave us more spending money during our stay. The rooms were nice and clean.The carpets in the hallways […] were a little worn but hey ..we did not sleep in the hallways. Thanks!! Les mer

Great location but our room was very disappointing; perhaps because it was a "pet room" there was a hole in the carpet between the beds and everything was very outdated in the room. Ancient TV with poor sound quality. People were nice and helpful and a very PET FRIENDLY property!
"Wonderful two nights spent at hotel."
This hotel was in a great choice area within the Seaside Village. We were able to easily get food from local Safeway as well as eat a delicious Italian meal at a place right across the street. We were in walking distance of the beach as well! What more can one ask for! Such a charming place, Seaside is! Oh! The bed was so comfortable. "Had a great stay!"
Really enjoyed our stay. We usually stay elsewhere but decided to try out the Comfort Inns. Great location, great facilities, everything worked out nicely. I made the reservation at four in the morning on the day of our stay and the short notice was no problem. If you are going to Seaside you could do a lot worse (and I have).

Over all we had a great time at the hotel. Nice staff. Very clean. Room was great a very nice place to stay. And did I say Clean!!!! Staff was very quick to respond to all needs. I will Come to this hotel next time I come to the coast.

Very nice and polite staff - couldn't ask for better staff. The hotel was a good location - short walk to the beach and shops. The room was very comfortable and clean. Bathroom a little smaller than others, but clean and no real problems. I would recommend.

The hotel had cleaned the carpets the day we arrived and had huge fans blowing right outside our room. They left them blowing all night and it was difficult to sleep. The staff were not very courteous.

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. There was a lovely river right beside the hotel that our balcony overlooked. It was right in downtown so an easy walk to all the sights. Breakfast was the best hotel one we had on our trip to Oregon

I stayed here for Labor Day weekend. The hotel was on the main street in Seaside which was very convenient, but when we walked into our room, the toilet was clogged. We called the front desk and the receptionist made us feel like we were bothering her. Instead of calling maintence or doing it herself, we were handed a plunger and told to bring it back […] downstairs when we were finished. Stayed for two nights, was very happy with the experience. The staff is friendly, and the hotel is located 2 blocks from the beach and is in the middle of many restaurants and shops. Right in downtown . . . great location, if that is what you want (touristy little town). Nice walk to the beach. Carpets on stairways dirty but realize this is difficult to maintain in a beach town. Room clean except one bedspread was stained.

"Usually a great stay but not in room 118"
We've stayed at this hotel several times and really like the hotel location, staff and rooms. They are extremely dog friendly which is great. Recently we stayed in room 118 next to the pool/ sauna. It was HOT and humid, the AC wasn't working and you can't really sleep with the windows open as there is a river walk outside the ground level windows that […] don't have open safety locks. "Not Worth the Money"
Our room was on the bottom floor at the end of the hotel. Which means it was right by the door that led to the street. It was so loud we might as well have pitched a tent on the sidewalk. The door was banging at all hours of the day and night. Outside our room was a community bench and area to view the river. Which is where people took a seat and smoked. […] You could smell their cigarette smoke and hear all their conversations. The room amenities were fine but it was not worth the money we paid to stay there. Our river view was not a view. Being on the bottom floor the only view we had was of the platform which you could stand on to look at the river. But there was no river view. The location was great for the heart of Seaside which is what we wanted, but I will never stay there again, knowing how loud the rooms are in this hotel. Les mer

Beds were very comfortable, the room felt very clean, and staff was friendly. The breakfast waffle would have been delicious, but there was only ONE waffle iron, room was crowded, none of the 3 of us could get a waffle at all. They really need 2 waffle irons!!!

Don't often fill these out but felt I needed to do it this time, we really enjoyed our stay at the Comfort Inn by the Sea, all the staff were friendly, room was a good size and nice and clean. If we had more time would have stayed another night

we usually don't go much to comfort inn, because of past bad experiences. i was really surprised with the seaside one. it mets the needs for nice good sleep. the breakfast was excellent. perfect location to walk downtown shops. the staff is very helpfull

ABRUPTLY AWAKEND AT 5:30AM SUNDAY MORNING BY THE SMOKE ALARM. HAD TO GET UP AND PHYSICALLY REMOVE FROM CEILING. APPARENTLY BATTERY NEEDED CHANGING. CALLED DESK NO ACTION.

"Kid, Grammy and Doggie all in one"
We were looking for a hotel with dog friendly, kid friendly, and location for easy access to seaside shops and short distances for disabled grandma with us. It could have been logisitics nightmare for me with all those issues, but what a great hotel. this hotel was very close to town, could walk everywhere. Nice remodel, small but very clean. Breakfast was a little skimpy and the pillows were down, but all half-size. Maintenance was VERY helpful and when our cable didn't work they brought in a new tv! Very pet friendly, we brought our 100 lbs. golden. Biggest complaints would be that staff, though […] very nice, was pretty ragged and were frequently outside the sidewalk entrance door smoking and not obeying the 10 feet law. The Comfort Inn in Seaside is centrally located, the shops and resturaunts are right out side the North entrance and only two blocks from the beach. It is easy to walk to many destinations and only 1 block to the highway for short drives to places like Astoria to the north and Cannon Beach to the south. "Bedding"
My husband, son and myself, enjoyed our two night stay at this hotel, until the last day there. Picking up the room before we left, I was pulling up the sheets and blankets on our bed, I noticed the blanket had something that looked like dried feces on it. Needless to say I got very sick. If I would have known it during our stay, I would have demanded […] a new blanket straight from the washer. I'm a little weary about staying at a hotel again that does not wash their blankets everyday. The one thing I reget is letting my husband talk me into not complaining to the hotel. I was just so grossed out, he knew I would not be so nice that day. Now that I've calmed down, I wish I would have said something to them. I hope you post this for all to see. Les mer
