Skikkelig bra hotel med kjempebra service. Kort vei til sentrum (med bil) og masse muligheter. Maten i hotel er litt varierende men på et bra niveau.

Morsomt og annerledes hotell. Deilig uteområde med lite basseng og kafe. Alltid forfriskninger i resepsjonen.Vennlig ohg hjelpsom stab. Ligger svært nær The Grove.

Hotellet er moderne og med god standard. Flott utsikt fra takterrassen (med restaurant og basseng), men servicen der oppe vare elendig (hyggelig personale, men de surret med bestillinger og var umåtelig trege). Prompte service på valet parking (og bil bør man ha i denne byen)... Kan absolutt anbefale hotellet, men det er ikke spesielt sentralt (men hva er nå det i Los Angeles, der attraksjonene er spredt utover og man uansett bør ha bil?).

"Fin beliggenhet, dårlig standard"
Vi trengte et sted å overnatte på vei hjem fra California. Dette motellet har veldig bra beliggenhet, men er veldig slitt og kan ikke anbefales.

Stayed overnight to catch a fight in the AM. Van was there to p/u promptly. Room was old, but clean, and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was included, which was coffee, cereal, toast, some fruit. Got us going, and was all that we expected. Van back to airport was prompt. Would stay again on an overnight if needed.

i stayed for i night and for short stays like mine i can recommend this hotel for the price and proximity to LAX. There was the convenience of a local trolley that took people from about 1 block from the hotel to Manhattan Beach for only $5 for a return trip that made this hotel a convenient place to stay if you wanted a place to stay close to both […] the airport and the beach. "Handy place to wait for a plane"
Nice, friendly clean and safe place to stay very close to the airport with shuttle service both ways 24 hours a day! Pool small but big enough for cooling down outdoors in the courtyard. Large balcony overlooking pool area, single cup coffee pot on room, plenty of space and a comfy king sized bed. No noise from airplanes (well only twice early in the […] evening). Loved the proximity to LAX airport, beautiful landscaping, and helpful staff. While the pool was the reason I selected this hotel, it was far to cool this April to take a dip. Shuttle and ability to walk to restaurants were a bonus. Good, except we Have to call for shuttle bus, otherwise, no one will pick you up from the airport. Other hotel's shuttle buses just came and picked people up at least every 10-30 mins. Travelodge shuttle bus went away without even stop to ask once in that hour. That made me thinking why I had booked Travelodge in advanced. I should just get on any bus […] come for me, rather than wait there for one hour and took Taxi cost me 20 USD to Travelodge finally. Les mer

Travelodge Hotel at LAX is a comfortable and quiet place to stay. There are several amenities, such as free parking and Denny's Restaurant, which make it a great value at an affordable rate. I was refreshed and well rested upon my departure.

Even though the hotel was a little older it was very clean. The staff was very helpful arranging transportion. A surprise was the Denny's adjacent to the hotel. The food was very good and the staff was excellent.

Hotel was close to car rentals and had a shuttle LAX was also close to the Freeway. Was down for a surgery so did not do any sight seeing but was very satisfied for the restaurants that were around and that delivered. Hotel was accommodating to anything like more pillows and a latter check out. I've stayed at this hotel before and never really had any issues with it. It can get a bit noisy if you're in a room near a stairwell, as guests come and go all night, but that's about the only gripe I have. Staff are very friendly and helpful, offering advice and information on things to do in the area and places to go to kill time. The shuttle drivers […] are courteous and efficient. The rooms are a good size, kind of old but clean and they serve their purpose well. There's a Denny's out the front, gas stations and all not mini-mart across the road. My stay was 3/31/2012 to 4/5/2012. I acknowledge the staff makes great effort in the areas of guest service and cleanliness of the facility. However, I was terribly disappointed in how noisy the room was. When inside the room, I could hear all the outside traffic and the darn extremely noisy air conditioner did not help. No exaggeration, I have not […] gotten a full night sleep in my four nights stay. Also, the overall decor of the facility and rooms are very out-dated; this hotel is miserably in great and immediate need of a face lift. To top it all off, on my third day, I encountered a cockroach (about an inch long, no kidding) running along the base board. It appeared to have entered my room under the door separating the adjacent room. The nightly rate was relatively inexpensive, I supposed I got what I paid for. Very comfortable room for the price. Near airport and busy street but not noisy in room. Stayed here the night before early flight out of LAX; left car at Fox Parking which is very nearby. Worked out great. Only problem is finding parking at the motel; it shares its parking lot with Denny's and can be packed with cars.

Very satisfied stay! Shuttle drivers were very helpful!
I could not see that windows were left ajar as they were covered by curtains - this was a first floor unit and therefore left me prone to burglaries. Also lighting in room was very poor making it very difficult to read.

Parking was difficult since it was in the same lot as the Denny's. Great location near the car rentals and airport. Reasonalbe price and good customer care. Room was decent, felt safe.

Its location to LAX is great, with a shuttle every 30 minutes to LAX and surrounding LAX rental car location, but don't have elevator to second floor and parking is an issue, pool is small but good and breakfast is good, staff is friendly and helpfull, overall great price location, just ask for 1st floor if you dont want to climb stairs

Not very clean and it was very noisy. The room we got was not the room we saw online.

This Travelodge is 4 minutes by courtesy bus from the airport. There is a lovely pool and a Denys cafe next door. There was no problem with aircraft noise and was a perfect place to stay for an overnight transfer.

The only reason we stayed here was because we needed to be close to LAX for an early morning flight. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. It was in poor condition, felt dirty, and we found a cockroach in our suitcase the next day. I'm appalled that this place charges what it does. Go somewhere else.

My family stayed at the Travelodge LAX for one night. The place is conveniently close to the airport but we didn’t have a great experience there. First of all, the price was a bit too much for the quality of the room we got. The furniture was outdated. The toilet reservoir wouldn’t quit filling water in after flushing which annoyed us because of the […] long noise (we had to shut off the valve manually every time). My kids complained about the TV (reception was not clear and would darken from time to time). The airconditioner cover kept falling off. The carpet was dirty with stains. It would have been nice if there was a small microwave and a small fridge. When we left for a stroll at night and when came back, the room key card didn’t work. When I went to see the hotel desk clerk there was only one person available entertaining a line of customers. Just to get the key card to work I was made to wait in line as my wife and kids waited long outside our hotel room. The desk clerk was sarcastic and rude as well. "Scary neighborhood, back rooms overlook an alley"
I'm not sure how this motel has such good ratings. The back rooms are located in an alley that is incredibly scary. Plus there were several scary-looking stragglers in the main parking lot. The pluses were: the closeness to LAX, airport shuttle service (make sure to get the schedule b/c it leaves only every 30 minutes and we almost misssed our flight), […] and the room was relatively big. Room was clean and comfortable, and very affordable. the hotel is located next to a Dennys restaurant, and although there are not many other visible eateries, there is a good selection of food that can be delivered (menus conveniently placed in room). There is also a list of abot 20 other restaurants that the hotel shuttle will transport to. Even with […] directions, finding the room was initially confusing, but once located was easy to remember. If you need to spend a night before catching a plane, this hotel is perfect -- it is close to return your car in advance and catch a shuttle to airport and there is a Denny's attached for an easy dinner option. "LAX Travel Lodge"
Asked for the copy of my visa I left for incidentals and was told they keep it on file for three months I only stayed one night. This is nonsense. The person who checked me in was very unhelpful. It was like being in a jail with the fencing around the back doors. Would never stay there again.

I stayed at the Travelodge LAX Airport on March 11th 2012 for 2 nights. Short lines at check-in and check-out, my room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast does not offer a great variety but you get a bagel and a not too bad coffee. Close to most rental companies and free shuttle service to and from the airport. Nice hotel in an OK area […] close to the airport. Only 2 things on the downside: My room smelled a little weird and the doors only close when you slam them, which means your floor shakes when the people beneath you leave or come home. Les mer
