Hotel Indigo - Scottsdale - Scottsdale

Simple, basic hotel. Seems to have been remodeled several years ago, but looks like no one has taken care of it since (i.e. scratches in the wall, dings in the paint and furniture). Would be a 3.5 star if not for that. Service was fine. No major issues. Hotel is pretty conveniently located.

this hotel is a good spot for young people looking to visit all the night clubs. The service at the bar and restaurant could have been a little better however over all the service was good.

Nice property. Extremely helpful and gracious staff. Quiet but nice bar. Great outdoor terrace with fire. Nice pool.

This hotel was overpriced! Even with a discount through Hotels.com for free nights - it wasn't worth the $$. The shower curtain was safety pinned together, our corner room walls were paper thin and you could here anyone walking by and the maids loudly discussing their work 8 doors down! There were scratches all over the bathroom door that could be fixed […] with $5.00 worth or paint! The complimentary ear plugs in the room were for the party atmosphere of the hotel and the night clubs located a few feet away. The least the hotel could do is sound proof the walls and repair the rooms! I'm never staying here again! Les mer

Very nice hotel in the heart of downtown Scottsdale. Stylish, comfortable and nice views. Overall great place to stay with an unbeatable price thanks to Hotels.com. Go here and you won't be disappointed!

Way over priced for not having great service. They offer a shuttle service that can only be used if their is a second saff member up front. Because of the way the showers are setup in the rooms. You flood the bathroom everytime you take a shower . Make sure you don't leave anything on the floor, and ask for extra towels. Way overpriced room service […] omlete, with home fries a cup of soda , and some bread $25 b4 tip. Their's more, but I would like to forget this hotel stay. Les mer

The hotel is really dated, very low ceilings. We weren't told that there was only 1 parking spot for the room and had to valet the other cars for $20 a pop. The bathrooms are kinda icky also.

The hotel is nicely laid out with comfortable amenities in the room and available at the bar. I was amazed at what they were able to provide in their small footprint of land. The gym (or phitness center as they call it) is fully equipped and the bar serves multiple purposes as a lounge, a bar and a breakfast nook area. The nicely integrated desk/entertainment […] center in the room made for a convenient place to work and entertain. Customer service was also great. We came back from a party late and the bar was closed. The front desk clerk was glad to help us with some glasses for our room and extra water, with a smile. Definitely a good feeling to be helped with good spirits at all hours of the day. Les mer

I have never been treated as such an inconvenience before! Rude staff and I heard others complaining of the same thing. I would not stay there again unless they had new management.

Advertised as a " hip" hotel, it's also okay for older folks like me. It was quiet although there was a set of earplugs provided (perhaps it gets noisy at times). The desk attendant provided us on request with a downtown map that was very poor quality, double lettering and blurred. Get some good maps for your clients! There was only 'a la carte' breakfast; […] it would have been nice if continental breakfast was provided. The hotel was not inexpensive; it stands to reason that continental breakfast could have been provided without financial stress to the hotel. Our room was clean, and the location is great. Les mer

This Hotel was clean, cool, plus a great staff. The Location is worth the price.

Great place to stay very bad parking. The hotel should at least assign Parking for the people with cars that is staying there.

Glad I chose this hotel - location is excellent and service was very good, nice people. Excellent gym for this size hotel, and just the little touches were noticed. I will definately stay again, (just maybe not on a Sat night when nearby clubs are going off)

Booked based on special Hotels.com rate. As the Indigo website states it is a "hip hotel". It would be great for the under 30 crowd. It is right next to two night clubs with DJs, loud music and big young crowds. The noise was not a problem. The pictures are accurate views of room and hotel. Don't book with "full breakfast" option. It is only juice and […] pastry. The restaurant and bar is small. It is close to all :old Scottsdale" shopping. Compare rates at others hotels before booking here...but it may be the best value. i should have known there was a problem when entering the room. bad Ikea furniture and ear plugs on the night stand. the winner of the worst hotel stay 2011 for me.

I love Hotel Indigo, I have stayed there for business and pleasure. It is in a great location in Old Town Scottsdale- right by all the clubs. If you are looking for something quaint and relaxing, this is not the place. Stay here to enjoy the Scottsdale night life. Hotel was in a great location if you are looking to party or shop in Scottsdale. The service, however, was lacking. The wasn't ever anyone at the bar or restaurant to provide service and the front desk service was slow.

The rooms are perfectly clean and fine, although their advertised "luxury bedding" does not include down pillows but instead these hard puffy ones which made my neck sore. The real problem began at around 1:00 am when some of the local clubs had people leaving. A big drunken brawl broke out which required the police to come. We have stayed at other Hotel Indigo properties and had great experiences. Unfortunately this was not one of them. Positives - the staff. Everyone went above and beyond to assist. Phenomenal customer service. The hotel property itself is fun, edgy, modern. Apparently was a previous Hampton Inn so they really stretched to turn a rectangle into a fun, […] hip property, They did succeed at that. Rooms, lobby, hallways, patio all had a great feel. The room itself was not the cleanest. One downfall. Location was the biggest issue. Although in the heart of Scottsdale, it is off the beaten path down a couple side roads. Not easy to find. It was a little scarey walking back to it in the dark as well. Biggest issue was outside our room was a nightclub. Starting at 10:00PM and ending around 3:30 AM, we had constant music and car alarms. Needless to say we did not sleep. If you stay here, get a room on the other side of the hotel! Les mer

This is only for those who do not need to sleep before 3am. You can hear neighbors through the walls and every car stereo and club sound system in a two block radius (and there's a LOT). Other than that, the design of the room and proximity to bars and restaurants was nice.

I was very disappointed with the food. It's was expensive but movie theatre food like.

The rooms need to be fixed, draperies don't close, air in another room was so loud that you could not sleep and the TV was broken. A little TLC would bring back this property to it's once was state. The manager needs to be on top, but it seems that the hotel has been run hard. Someone needs to do a ck of each room.

Nice hotel in a great location. Rooms are good size and it's close to the Scottsdale restaurant scene.

Party town party place. I was reasonably pleased with the indigo. after booking the executive suite i read reviews here concerning this hotel. If you like night life and are into Ikea style interiors this place is for you. The service staff were great, parking is convenient, no problems if you get informed. the food is actually decent and a fair value. […] what i didnt like about the place is that the floors were obviously not dusted vacumned or swept in quite awhile. there was all kindes of residue from previous tenants which was very upsetting. i actually paid less and stayed at a far superior hotel; the Tower at Valley Ho in Scottsdale. Hotel Indigo is walking distance to a couple of the hottest day/night spots in Old Town Scottsdale. The cops in this town are on a mission to arrest you for DUI. So this spot is the answer if you want to party in Old Town and not risk driving. The rooms are arguably nicer than the nearby W and 1/3 the price. Great value for the price.

Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Close to Old Town shops and resteraunts - all in walking distance. Nice hotel workout facility

Had a great time at the hotel. Loved the look and feel of it, close to everything. Went and saw a band play down the street and although the hotel was a little more than a couple of others we found the fact that we didn't have to take a cab anywhere actually saved us money. Well worth it.

What a great place to see and not have to drive anywhere. All the good spots in Old Town Scottsdale are within walking distance. Hotel is very intimate and the rooms are beautifully decorated. Would stay there again anytime.

For what I spent for only two days I was horribly dissatisfied! The pictures displayed on the website are a gross over-exaggeration of the real thing! The pool was closed for cleaning, and the hotel itself was dingy looking. The wood flooring in our room was separating and coming apart. Including in the bathroom the whole room had only 3 outlets. BOTH […] elevators were not working well at all (didn't display the floor number, shaky, rattled etc...). They advertise bathrobes in the rooms which we did not have. Valet parking was also offered yet the only thing I experienced that came close to valet parking was ONE night when we were pulling into the hotel, a lady was standing there and she pointed to one of many open parking spaces that we could park in IF we wanted to. Cleaning service was incredibly LOUD throughout the hallways and the noise started from about 6am to 2 or 3 pm. Staff was VERY rude at check in and check out. As far as watching Tv, there were few TV channels that were free and the "payed movies and music concert tv performances" were $16-$20 PER MOVIE regardless of how old or new the movie was! I have never been so dissatisfied with a hotel in my life. Les mer

There are several clubs that surround this hotel that do not close until 2 AM. I am a business travel and was kept awake every night from the loud dance music, screaming and partying. This should be in the hotel description so business travels are aware of the surroundings and can make an educated decision on if to stay here. was modern furnished, bar, pool, gym, lots of nightlife in the immediate vicinity. I think it was overpriced and I supposedly got a deal... but other wise, nice.

Spent the weekend there. Read reviews taht the hotel was noisy. They must have done something to correct it because it was great and quiet

The room was very modern, and the bed was very comfortable. You are within walking distance of Fashion Square and all the great bars and clubs. It's right next to the W, but for only 25% of the price. I never ate at the hotel, but why would you with all the restaurants around. Definitely a great spot for younger guests. Surrounding area can be loud […] Thursday through Saturday, but that's what I was looking for. Only downside is the awkward shower shape. Les mer

Pretty good price and location. Had never stayed at an Indigo property, but thought about giving it a try even in light of some of the negative reviews. We were expecting a little noise after reading the other reviews, and I can confirm the walls are VERY thin! Heard quite a few interesting noise via the air vents. Also, you can tell this property was […] an old hotel that Indigo had purchased and then renovated. It was very obvious the hotel was renovated cheaply. I think our bed was from the original hotel and had plastic light covers being held on by tape. Certainly a good hotel for those looking to party, and not looking to enjoy a quality, comfortable or relaxing room. Les mer

We had two reservations there during the same week and neither time were they able to provide us with what we had reserved on line- we had booked rooms with 2 beds and both times only 1 bed was available. Also, our bathroom light was burned out, and the clock didn't work and the air conditioner was extremely loud and annoying. We had to move rooms at […] 3am because of the loud, drunk 20 year olds partying in the hallways, the lady at the front desk who changed our rooms was very nice and really tried to help us though.
