We stayed at the Homewood Suites with our 2 teenagers. We really enjoyed the room. The hide-a-bed didn't get great reviews from my kids, but I was happy with everything else. I spent over a half hour trying to locate this property when I got to Boulder from Denver. Maybe it was my Apple Maps GPS vs Google but it kept giving me the wrong directions. I stopped into a RiteAid for directions from a worker. When I finally arrived, front desk was very friendly and my one-bedroom room was nice. It was clean and adequate for me […] stay. Gorgeous and spacious room that accommodated all four. Only thing we would have enjoyed more is an indoor pool. Breakfast was fantastic. Front desk helped us resolve booking issue quickly and efficiently. We will definitely be back.

I stayed in a suite with a fireplace which made my stay very cozy as it was snowing outside. The only complaint I had was the noise I could hear above my head as the people on the floor above were getting ready for the day. There seemed to be no soundproofing between floors. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious! I thought because the breakfast was […] free it might just be a continental breakfast, but they had eggs and sausage and waffles, etc. The free wifi in the room was another attraction for me. The woman at the front desk was so nice and genuinely interested in making sure I had a great stay. I told my husband that we will be staying there from now on when we go to visit our daughter at the University of CO. Les mer

I've stayed at this location several times and each time the staff is courteous and friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast buffet is outstanding. The only drawback is the location can be a bit tricky as you have to drive thru a grocery store parking lot to get to the hotel, but once that is understood, all else is top notch […] . Les mer

Positives-Location to U of C Boulder was perfect and employee service was wonderful. Negatives-Although the location was quiet, I could hear the guest in the room above me walking around, snoring through the night and even turning over in bed! Also the bed was extremely soft and sagging; the front desk sent maintenance to a few other rooms but said […] all the beds were pretty similar. Had a great experience at this location, just a few minutes drive from downtown area. Located directly behind Safeway shopping center which was convenient to stock the kitchenette, however made the hotel a little hard to find the first time. Very nice & helpful staff. One bedroom suite was clean and comfortable, but we did hear quite a bit of noise […] from guests above us (squeaking floorboards, moderate talking, water running, etc.). We had requested top/3rd floor room but none were available at checkin. Self-serve, full breakfast was continuously re-stocked, good and served in a comfortable area with plenty of seating. Spacious suite, comfortably furnished and includes a kitchen with crockery/ pans etc enabling you to prepare your own meals if you want; Safeway and a liquour store are less than 5 minutes walk. Good buffet breakfast plus a fixed evening meal option provided free (not weekends) this includes wine or beer but there is no bar on site. A bit out of town, […] so do need a car to get around. Following other people's comments on finding the hotel, we took a close look at the map for the area which gave us context and so we found it quite easily - but worth looking it up before hand as it isn't obvious (especially if arriving at night). I needed a room after my daughter delivered a preterm baby. Lynn was magnificent about working with me to obtain availability during this difficult time. It was late the when my son and I finally checked in, each arriving from different places. We unpacked and got ready for bed only to finally realize that the AC wasn't really working correctly. Trenton […] was able to move us to another room to sleep while leaving our belongings in the original room, so we didn't have move all of our possessions that night just to move back again after the AC repair in the morning. We felt that both of these great people put the HOME in Homewopd Suites! You never know what is going on in someone's life when you go out of your way to extend them an extra courtesy. These efforts really made a difference to us and were greatly appreciated. Les mer

Others have noted the location issue. Once you find the hotel though, all was good. The staff was very friendly, breakfast was good, location convenient.

Nice hotel with great service. Fire alarm went off at around 3 in the morning and we had no idea what was going on. Food and drinks during the week were nice, but food could be a little more kid friendly. Great location with a lot of close stores. We had a nice stay and enjoyed our time in Boulder.

The suite had a kitchen, complete with dishes, silverware and cooking utensils, plus a coffee pot, although coffee is always available in the lobby. The breakfasts were great, with many choices, and the M-Th dinners sounded good on the menu. The dining room was very pleasant. The newspaper in the morning was a nice touch. The internet, wireless, computers […] and printer all worked well, the pool and jacuzzi looked clean and inviting. The towels were big and fluffy and there were multiple pillows on the bed. We left the windows open for the cool air--didn't use the AC, which was too loud anyway. Water pressure in the shower was great. Convenient to a grocery store and drug store, as well as restaurants. This was a good hotel, but one of the hardest hotels to find I have ever seen. It took maybe 30 min. of driving around to find. I was so stressed out by the time I got there. It was dark and on a back road through a shopping center with no sign at the road. Would most likely not stay there again for this reason. Also wish they would have DVD player, […] I had my 2 yr. old grandson with us, and could not find anything on TV for him to watch. We always have movies for him. Just no DVD player in room. Les mer

Great hotel just a little hard to find the first time, the strip mall was built after the hotel so you needed to go through the parking lot and around the mall building to get to the hotel. Rooms were great, breakfast was good.

Great place to stay for an extended stay in Boulder. The location is hard to find--it is behind a shopping center! Which sounds weird, but gives it a very quiet location while still being near major streets.

Price was great, room was great, pizza place around the corner great, breakfast great, ability to find hotel not so great. Took a extra few minutes to find the hotel off the frontage road behind the shopping center but hey we got to see a little mor e of Boulder than expected. All in all I am going to stay there again in about two weeks.

I was supposed to arrive at 1:30 PM on a Thursday afternoon. Because of airport closures due to snow I didn't arrive until 1:45 AM Friday morning. At check in, I was upgraded to a bigger and quieter section, so I could at least have some sleep without any disturbance. The staff was so considerate and helpful. Very difficult to find this property as it is tucked behind a strip mall. It was especially challenging on a cold dark winter evening. Signage poor and unclear. Drove around the area for over ten minutes with the GPS telling me I had arrived but all I could see was the strip mall. Other than that it was fine.

Complimentary breakfast and evening welcome are very nice. Atmosphere in hotel and attitude of hotel persons are also great. To those who will stay over 1 week, such services are quite important.

The setting and rooms were great. Only problem, was access from Baseline. There are no signs readily available to recognize location of hotel. We had to call to ask where it was actually located. Other than that, terrific place to stay.

We like Homewood Suites. Quality is always consistent. This location was convienent to all the sites to see in Boulder. It is next to a shopping center with a great Indian resturant. It is only about 45 minutes from Denver airport and easily accessible by 470 from airport. Short drive to famous Pearl street where we stumbled on a great Farmers Market […] with organic and prepared food. Boulder's location at the foothills make it a good introduction to Colorada. The entrance to the hotel was confusing even with our GPS, turn left into the shopping center and take the first left and go behind the left wing of the shopping center. They offer free bikes. Boulder is a great place to bikeride. Les mer

It was what we expected. CLEAN. I would prefer white duvets on the beds instead of old mustard colored comforters and green fleece blankets. Kitchen nice and helpful, Breakfast stops too early for those there on pleasure wanting to sleep in beyond 9 am (breakfast end at 9:30 am on weekdays). Not much around there if you have no car. This hotel was very easy to find, even for Boulder-first-timers. We were pleasantly surprised by our room; large living area with kitchenette and separate bedroom. The bathroom was quite dated, but clean and functional. The evening Happy Hour (5.30 - 7.30pm) was an added bonus with complimentary beer, wine and finger food. Breakfast was also included […] and a wide variety was available. Located next to a mini-mall with supermarket, take-away food and variety shops, this meant that we had everything we needed on hand, even though we were quite a few miles from downtown. I usually stay closer to campus since my son is at CU but have not been impressed with the affordable offerings. Homewood Suites was only 3 miles from campus and was so convenient.
