Days Inn Junction TX - Junction

Place was clean, beds were comfy, free breakfast was decent. Pool and hot tub looked awesome, but we didn't get to use them.

Had high hopes for this hotel, but very disappointed. People were nice & location was good - but beds were uncomfortable & stained. Wouldn't stay there again.

IT was awful. I will never stay there again. Staffing was non-existent. The one person that was at front desk inexperience. Our room was nasty was even clean from the prior guest. We had to change 3 rooms to get one that close to being used. I had to go buy Clorox wipes to wiped everything down for my 14month son. We just prayed that the sheets were […] clean. maintenance is bad also..nothing appeared to safe..the fence was knock down. there were two patios that were falling apart. The property is just off the interstate highway with a scenic view of the nearby river. Because of its location in the west Texas area, a reservation is probably a good idea. It's a long way from anywhere to anywhere and can be a bit of a surprise to people who come from more heavily populated areas and may assume the next town is just a few miles down […] the road. The room was large and clean and the bed was comfortable. Because of how the hotel is constructed into the side of a hill, the lobby, which is on the back side of the hotel, is on the third floor so the other two floors of rooms are on the lower levels accessible by elevator or stairs. We left before 7:00 am, which is when breakfast becomes available, so we missed it. I noticed a cooler stocked with microwaveable dinners that could be purchased and heated in the microwave in your room, which is handy if it's too late or you just don't want to leave to go eat.  I would suggest to the property manager that employees be directed not to have personal family conversations in front of guests, creating an awkward situation. I would stay here again. It was a very good value and a good night's sleep. Les mer

Conveniently located off I-10. Adequate for a night's rest. The bath did not fill with water :( but otherwise ok. The motel has had some recent remodeling. It did not look as bad as some reviews!

I stayed two night in two rooms. The service was good, continental breakfast is good and the room is nice. the only thing is some equipment are not good, heater in one room is not power enough and we felt cold in the night. some light stopped working. overall it's a good hotel and I'll come back again.

The hotel was not busy, but there were no paper towels in the men's restroom. Breakfast was very basic. Several areas in the hotel were being renovated/painted.

it was fine, clean, just wish we could have had queen size beds instead of full size....dont know if they didnt have any or didnt have any left when we made our reservation....other than that, it was just fine.

An awesome view of the Llano River and surrounding area, but I was displeased with the following: Black mold on top, and bottom of the shower curtain. Toilet seat about an inch smaller than the toilet itself. Small stain on bed sheet. No capability to call outside of the local area, which is a big problem due to very poor cellphone reception in the […] Junction area. I expect better quality from Days Inn in a beautiful vacation area like this. Les mer

The hotel was under new management, but it looked as though they are deglecting the upkeep. There were items left in the bathroom from the previous guests. Not the best thing to see first in the bathroom. The TV's were old, but worked. The pool needs a lot of attention, but the river is just down the road... I suggest you plan on swimming there - it's […] much more fun. The location is awesome, so I hope the new management changes this place around. Won't return until I'm told it has gotten better. The hotel was nice, I liked our view towards the pool and the highway. The picnic areas with the covered areas is very nice. The beds and pillows were the best I have found in a hotel in a long time. We ate breakfast late so the coffee was empty and the items offered were not many, but since it was free, not gonna complain. The lights by the bed didn't […] work, so reading in bed was out of the question. The room came with micro and frig so that was good. I will defiantely stay here again when we go to Junction.. I should have known when I saw the floor of the elevator was dirty -- not just dusty, but with some liquid that had dried and left a stain. Our room wasn't shabby chic, just the shabby part. My bedside wall lamp didn't work, and the owner came to our room to see why -- he solved my lighting issue by taking a floor lamp and sitting it in front of the […] nightstand which made access to the bed a little difficult, but hey -- I had light. The piece de resistance was the . door that didn't open -- AGAIN, the owner came and forced it open, and when i walked out there, I about died it was so dirty. I'm sure it had not been cleaned for years. I've got to stop -- you get the picture. Don't ever stay here! Les mer

Hotel smelled gross. Pool and hot tub were filthy. We found a dirty pair of panties in our room. This place is called a "resort". Maybe in a third world country, but not in Texas...

This was the 1 mistake of the 4 hotel nights I had to book while driving 2,200 miles to move from Orlando to Phoenix. I should've kept driving even though it is in the middle of nowhere. Stains on the walls, carpets and chairs.....the only reason this wasn't rated a 1 is because the bed was actually clean and there was wi-fi. I slept with my clothes […] on and the bathroom lights on just to be safe. I didn't even shower because the shower wasn't clean (hair everywhere...gross) and couldn't wait to leave. If you want food, you'll have to travel a few miles down the road. The front desk guy was nice and it is right off the Hwy, so those were the positives. Les mer

The housekeeper is an honest person. At the end of my first day of a two day stay I left a $5 tip. She did not know it was for her and neatly folded it up and placed it on the night stand. I carried it to the front office and made sure she go it. By the way, I left $10 the next day. She may be smart and honest. :-)

The room was too expensive. We did not receive value for the room rental. The Swimming Pool is filthy. Front desk personnel is indifferent and not welcoming. Breakfast is mediocre. I would not recommend this motel.

A good night's sleep for the price. Not fancy, but clean, comfortable, cordial staff. A minor note, the pillows were too round.

I was told just hours before arriving that this was the worst place to stay. Upon arrival we saw "open under new management" and could tell that things have and were changing for the better. Please keep it up as it has great potential.

The hotel is under new management. You can tell they are making great progress wit this hotel. We have stayed there several times before. The pool area is great. The rest of the hotel is a work in progress. You can tell they are putting a full effort into remodeling the entire property

The hotel staff was very friendly. The outside of the hotel was very dirty. It looked as though they were doing remodels of the hotel, They left all of their materials overflowing out of the dumpster as well as the trash. The smell of the trash was very overwhelming at first and a major turn off when I first drove up
