I would appreciate that my comments are copied to the wonderfully friendly and efficient staff that made the stay memorable. Also, the area itself is worth a visit in its own right, with pleasant locality, good shopping and restaurants, and a charmong downtown street on Sanford. This will most certainly be our nest port of entry to the US, since also the airport was a positive experience, which cannot be said about most US airports.

Front desk clerk very pleasant. Non smoking room smelled like smoke. Had to buy Febreeze to make it livable. Returned extra blankets to front desk for exchange due to smell. Toilet issues on last day, had to call front desk for plunger at 4:15 am. I will say he at least got it to us quickly!!! All in all , you get what you pay for. For the price it […] was acceptable. "Quality Inn-Mt Dora - pretty place on a lake"
This hotel was clean, modernized and well kept, with two gazebos right on the lake. The microwave and fridge were highly appreciated, and having an iron and hair dryer were great conveniences. We enjoyed our stay, except for some rude guests who were pounding on the door at 6:30 a.m. and others bouncing a basketball at 1 a.m. causing the bed's headboard […] to shake (not the hotel's fault). It is the noisy, inconsiderate guests who ruin hotel stays for the rest of us. We stayed three nights and were given full cleaning service with change of towels all three nights. "Couldn't take a bath, otherwise fine"
The tub stopper didn't work right, so water flowed out and I had to take a shower. Except for that, everything was fine.

"Stingy on the Towels"
On a rating of 1 to 5, 1 being the poorest and 5 being great, I'd rate them as a 4. The only complaint that I might make is: Lady's if your used to having 2 towels of your own ask for them upon check in, an plan on asking for them for each day your there. Other than that it was great !

Pleasant hotel. Close enough to downtown Mt. Dora to enjoy the sights. Reasonable rate, which included a light, compimentary breakfast.

Bed was a little stiff, but that is about usual at hotels in my experience. Everything else was fine.
"Clean but smelly"
The room was overall clean in appearance, but it smelled so bad we couldn't stand it. We requested another room, but after checking 4 other rooms and discovering they all had just as bad of a strong musty smell, we opted to stay in the original room. The desk clerk gave us a bottle of Febreze to use which helped enough to make the room bearable for […] the night. When we first called about the smell, the clerk didn't sound surprised about our complaint, so it made us wonder how long the problem has been going on and why the hotel doesn't do something about their carpeting to eliminate the offense odor. Disappointed in the overall condition and appearance of the hotel. Our room had a very musty odor, so much so that our clothes inn our suitcase started to take on the odor. We had a 3 night stay. Even with the air conditioning on, our things felt damp! It wasn't humid outside. The carpet in the room needed updating and the outdoor stairwells were filthy. I felt the hotel was priced right and the staff was great. We enjoyed our stay while visiting Mt Dora area. We had a view of the adjoining lake not very big but a nice view when you step out of your door.

"NICEST HOTEL FOR THE MONEY!!!"
When comparing this hotel to others I have stayed at with less ammenities this one tops them all! Tina checked us in and made us feel right at home! The room was very clean, very comfortable and although we did not take advantage of the continental breakfast, I did peek in and it looked very appetizing! The dining area looked very clean! This hotel […] had more ammenities and was maintained very well compared to others I stayed at for the same price but were much older and needed much maintenance and no where near the ammenities. Overall, the experience was very pleasant, staff very friendly and this will be my hotel of choice when I visit the area. Thanks for a nice stay! I didn't expect much for the price, but I ended up being pleasantly surprised by this little hotel. It was much cleaner than I anticipated, there was an adorable view of a small lake from our room, a fridge and micro were included along with a better than average breakfast in the morning, and the beds were very comfortable. "Really nice"
We stayed at 3 different hotels that week and this was the best of them all .We stayed there for 2 nights. The room was huge! They had a microwave and mini fridge in the room and they had a good selection of cable channels with good reception. Nice view of lake/pond. nice pool and pool area. only downside was there was no elevator to the second floor, […] but it didn't bother us b/c we has a small amount of luggage. "Good for a weekend get away"
For a two star hotel the place was nice. Room was clean and the hotel staff was very nice. The breakfast was good--who doesn't like a belgian waffle? We had a king suite with a balcony overlooking a pond. The hotel certainly met our needs for a weekend get away to visit Mt Dora.

"fantastic must go to Frog and Monkey"
The place was perfect, The room was a real suite. It was very clean and everyone was so friendly. We will had a great weekend and will definitely be back. We go off to different places almost every weekend and this place was the best place. The whole community was so friendly, but the Frog and Monkey restaurant was the greatest place to eat.
"Weekend at the Antique Market"
We stayed at the Quality Inn because it was convenient to Mt. Dora and the antique market. The room was clean and roomy. I did not like staying around the back of the building vs. the water side, but it was quiet. The breakfast was muffins,bagels, waffles, fruit etc. The pool looked refreshing but it was too cold to swim. I would stay there again.

There was no parking by my room they had only parking on one side of Motel. My room had an odor. I went and bought Frebfee air freshner in order to stay in the room. I didn't find the staff very helpful either. I rate it the worst place I ever stayed at.
"Needs Improvement"
Well, we get there and go to our non smoking room and it smells like an ash tray which tells me they aren't cleaning the rooms properly. There was roaches in our room. The fridge was rusty! Not cleaned out very well. The TV remote didn't work. I had to go down to the office for two different remotes!!! The hot water in the shower was HOT or not.

Was visiting my son in the area. I left my phone charger and didn't realize until the night I returned home. I promptly called the hotel and was told that anything left in the room would be in housekeeping and she would have someone call me the next day. I did receive the call and found out I left a bag also, and was told they would send the items to […] me. I received my items the next day. Rooms were clean, Beds were pretty comfortable, freindly and helpful staff, didnt care for the shower(low pressure). All in all I was pleased and would stay there again when in the area.
