this was our second stay and we chose it because we loved it the first time. It is close to Westbahnhof train station, convenient connections to the city center and airport and is in the part of town near our family. On top of all of that, it is an excellent quality hotel and the staff is very helpful.

Hotel service is very good. Since the hotel ius facing a big blvd, it is a bit noisy in the night and early morning.

As a woman travelling on my own, I don't think I would recommend this place. The hotel is in an area that has s*x shops etc in close proximity - a fact that would have deterred me from booking, had I have known before I arrived. This meant that it was not a good idea for me to walk alone at night and get dinner some where near by, as I would have to […] pass a s*x shop (complete with lady sitting in the window) on my way. This was very restrictive and meant I had to use the hotel restaurant at night, which is lovely but quite pricey. The hotel is quite close to a major shopping road and one can pick up items such as bottled water without having to pay the horrendous minibar mark up. Central Vienna is not really in walking distance but the underground is almost across the road, so getting around is easy if you have a ticket (it's best to buy through the U-bahn website or use their mobile app if you can). I had a terrible room on the first night which was changed with no problems for the reminder of my stay and this second room was very quiet and comfortable though the bed was hard. If you have a room on the road side, I would change it straight away or leave unless you can sleep through 24/7 traffic noise. Staff were mostly excellent though I was not impressed when I got stuck in the elevator (a problem that seems to happen often) and this was treated rather flippantly by the young lady on the desk! Ac not working in a "SUPERIOR ROOM". They gave me water, which I had to pay 5 euros for each bottle, where I saw others were offered that when they chose superior room.

Hotel has a good location for both business and leisure. Staff is gorgeous! Room is OK, the only problem is that the pillows are not so comfortable.

While the hotel is right on the ring road (traffic outside your window) the double glazing prevents most noise from entering. The hotel has underground parking which was good for us. The excellent downtown area is in walking distance (20 mins) from the hotel. Trams are very close and are for all intents and purposes free (we gave up trying to pay!!). This hotel was clean, lovely, and well appointed. Since it was fall, they seem to have turned the AC off even though it was unseasonably warm. Therefore, the noise from the very busy street was almost unbearable but the windows had to be open to keep the room less than boiling. The smokers like to congregate right by the doors, so you have to run the […] gauntlet to get in and out as a non-smoker. The breakfast buffet was fabulous. The room had a tub, great for soaking sore feet. It is close to the Westbahnof so it is very easy to catch a train. The business center had computers and printers to print off train schedules and other things. The staff all spoke excellent English and the beds were very comfortable. This hotel is just quick walk from the metro station and three blocks away from main shopping street in Vienna. It is also 5 min walk to the bus station from where I got direct bus to VIE (Vienna International Airport - E8 cost). Clean room, breakfast is included and it is superb. I would stay in this hotel again and again.

The hotel had a pretty good location, fair cost, polite staff... Only situation we had was the bathroom light was not working and was not fixed througout the stay, this makes a bit of an inconveniance.

very nice hotel and excellent price/ value ratio. One advantage is also a biggest disadvantage - the location. Close to the main train station, a plus but also not the nicest neighboor hood in Vienna.

We stayed for 5 nights, very helpful staff, situated next to tram station and u-train,the only thing what put us off a little bid was the 150 Euros we had to pay as soon as we arrived (to be returned on the check out day) in case of any damage, but they could have kept our passport instead, lots of tourist have a limited budget and paying 150 Euros […] up front would cut there spending money. Our room had a view of dorms from the student wing of hotel, so it was noisy, also had to keep shades close constantly for privacy. Our room was hot cause of the non-working air, but also the hotel itself (corridors, lobby,elevator) was so hot too! i guess they dont run central air or anything... Shower was a mess! it all got wet everytime, small […] glass shower door does not serve its purpose. The bed was comfy. Internet worked. Small tv. Location: Hmmm not that great, not as close to the city center as we would've liked. Nearby: metro stop, some street food, some restaurants, mall. Staff really friendly and helpful. Air conditioning worked efficiently. Huge choice of food at breakfast and very comfortable beds. Only negative was the lack of service in Joes bar. The barman seemed to disappear every time you wanted a drink!

We traveled from the UK to meet up with friends at the hotel. Have just spent 3 superb nights at The Arcotel Wimberger in Vienna for a concert we attended in nearby Purkersdorf in Lower Vienna featuring The Orchestra (former ELO & ELO Part 2 members). I can honestly say the position of the hotel was perfect for the nearby Westbanhof station. The room […] we had on the 7th floor was superb, thankfully the air conditioning was working fine as the temperatures outside were in the mid 30 degrees. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the food in the restaurant excellent and the bar area was very lively. Prices for the hotel, food and drinks I personally found to be very reasonable too. Overall I would recommend this hotel 10/10 and will certainly stay again if I ever return to Vienna. Les mer

Wonderful hotel with great facilities. Located about 3 kms from the city center but easily accessible by trains and trams which stops right in front of the hotel. 10 mins walk to the center train station. For the price paid this hotel was first class. Received a free upgrade to executive room and staff were very friendly and helpful. Only criticism is the quality of the computers in the 'business corner' - tried to check in for a flight using them but had to use the free wifi with my smartphone when the browser kept crashing.

The first room smelled like an ashtray and the air conditioning didn't work. The second room only smelled like an ashtray, despite the non-smoking rooms. The front desk staff was somewhat rude about us asking for a different room with a working air conditioner. They also tried to charge me for breakfast which I didn't have. Hotel very close to subway; good provision of Wi-Fi in the room (free); neighbourhood is not one you want to hang around at night you really have to take the subway to go a nice cafe.

We found the 49 tram took us almost to the Hofburg area and Malls and the 58 tram straight to Schonnbrun Palace. tram tickets at reception. This Hotel had a great location ! Very close to train and sub way station. Cheaper than inner city but could get there on the subway in just a few stops.we actually rented a bike with city bike rentals and cycled home late one night. There is 2 bike rental stations within 2 min walk of the hotel. Rooms are nice and large for Europe standards. Free wifi. […] We were visiting the 2nd week of may and rooms were comfortable and slightly warm at times. We could open our windows to cool down the room. I suspect this could be a problem in July/aug as someone commented on poor a/c in another review. Certainly fine for may. The hotel itself is a nice hotel, but the location is not what I had hoped it to be. I chose this hotel because it was close to the train station, which it is, but it's also in a more run down part of town. The old town is about a 30 minute walk from the hotel. Staff could speak basic English, but weren't very helpful when we inquired about tours and […] directions. It seemed like we were a bother. The room was clean and rather large for European standards. The hotel advertised having ac in the rooms, but our room was stifling and we were there when it was rainy and cool. Bed was hanging and suspended in air, so was moving with change in position in bed and was disturbing sleep. Clean, spacious room, very friendly and helpful staff.

Hotel is close to U3 Westbahnhof, but this means it is noisy with traffic and far from the main shopping. The room is adequate in size but the beds are impossible -- more like sleeping on coils than a mattress. Courtyard-side rooms get the noise and cigarette smoke from the hotel residents in the patio- bar, sometimes all night. The rooms facing the […] strasse are noisy in a different way. On plus side-- staff are lovely and speak multiple languages. The room was clean. To sum -- in Vienna there are many places to stay and I won't return to stay here.
