Dette hotellet er på alle måter fantastisk, rommet vårt var gigantisk og servicen upåklagelig, men det koster å bo her. For eksempel legges det automatisk til 22 prosent tips til alle room service-ordre, dette i tillegg til det de tar ekstra for å levere maten. Det andre som gjør det dyrt å bo her, er at hotellet ligger så avsides til at du må belage deg på å kjøpe og spise alt du trenger, på hotellet. Et tips er derfor å ta med seg snacks og drikke fra nærmeste kolonial for å slippe å bli ruinert i minibaren.

Supert hotell med flotte rom. Vi kunne ønsket oss at det lå litt nærmere selve Santa Barbara, men vi fikk utrolig mye for pengene, så alt i alt er vi veldig fornøyd!

Vi var fornøyd. Koselig hotell og koselig uteområde å spise frokost i. Merket ikke at hotellet lå nær stor vei, og det var kort vei med bil til Santa Barbara for middag, strendene og ridetur i fjellene. For oss var det greit å kjøre bil til det vi ville, og greit alternativ siden vi ikke ville betale mye for å ligge like ved strand/storby.

Stayed at Brisas Del Mar or the weekend. Very good hotel. Nice treat with a glass of wne in the afternoon, Free bicycles. Only minus is that we felt it a bit overpriced. Will probably stay again....

"Nice hotel, horrible noise problem"
The hotel is nice and the room was clean and comfortable. However, the windows are the louver type which means that they do not keep out noise very well. Could hear a baby crying in the apartment complex next to the hotel and it did not quiet down till after 10:30 (on a Thursday night).

For the price it was great, free breakfast, wine/cheese/cookies/milk/internet bikes to ride to beach. Rooms were not fancy but clean. Only complaint was the pillows weren't comfortable. Staff friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Would stay again.

"Charming stay"
We had a charming stay at the Brisas del Mar. Friendly and helpful staff, and a wonderful wine and cheese reception every night. The breakfast each morning was outstanding, very fresh and a nice variety. Overall a lovely experience!
"Great Service, More of a Family Place."
We chose this hotel as an anniversary getaway. The staff and service were great, but our room (although very roomy and clean) and the hotel setting turned out to be better suited for a family vacation than a romantic weekend.

We had a great weekend getaway in this hotel near the beach. The customer service is first class and the staff was very knowledgeable on the surrounding points of interest. Room was a bit dated, but clean and neat. Would recommend that you choose rooms with the plantation shutters. Suites are roomy. We would definitely stay there again.

We did enjoy our stay here. I do think the price is a bit high for what you get. The rooms are a bit outdated and could use some updating. The service was good. Clean, comfortable room in a convenient location. Staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help. They allowed us to check in earlier which meant we could get a full day's sightseeing in. The hotel have bicycles for guests to use. We really enjoyed our morning cycling along the pier and the cycle path alongside the beach fronts. "Disingenuous"
I thought it was disingenuous for their photos to mislead what the property looks like. Yes, what the photos show are accurate, but they show the front section of the property, an obvious add-on. What is not seen is that the majority of the property is an old motel-like property. I really liked this hotel.. It was beautiful from the outside.. It was very blah inside, but beyond that, the staff was very nice! Loved the breakfast, Love the wine and cheese.. Really liked the hotel!!
This is a great place, staff super friendly and great location. Lovely room with a kitchen and sitting room. Really cosy and clean. Fabulous Italian restaurant around the corner. Would recommend to stay here.

The hotel is very conveniently located to get to the beach as well as eating establishments. The service was good and the folks there were very helpful.
Comfortable bed, quiet location free & tasty breakfast . Wine, fruit & cheese in afternoon also milk & cookies in the evening. Congenial staff. Very pleased

Our stay at Brisas del Mar was fabulous! The service was amazing and the room was adorable. The extras the hotel provides for free made our stay extra special! We loved the breakfast, the wine and cheese reception in the evenings, the cookies at night, the beac cruisers, the DVD collection and the pool and hot tub. We will definitely be back!

We wanted to stay in a nice, clean comfortable room, be close to shops and activities, close to the beach, great service and be reasonably priced. Well, Brisas del Mar Inn has all that and more! The better than the usual continental breakfast was a good start for each day, the afternoon wine and cheese, free movie rental-huge library of them, and the […] evening milk and delicious cookies all were a hit! We rode the complimentary bicycles too. It was our first time to Santa Barbara and the staff at the Inn were very helpful in giving suggestions as to where to go and all the nearby activities. This hotel (motel) goes beyond what I expected. Wonderful continental breakfast, complimentary bicycles to ride, wine and cheese in the afternoon and cookies and milk in the evening. William was our check-in Host and was most helpful with ideas for our wine tasting stops and places to eat. The pool is small but a very enjoyable atmosphere. We had a wonderful time at this hotel . The rooms were spacious and it had a B&B feel to it. The breakfast , wine and cheese and cookies and milk were a plus. We enjoyed it all. The staff was always helpful.
"Pillows & chairs"
The only thing I didn't like was the bed pillows were "dead". But, I didn't complain, so I shouldn't mention it. Also, the two side chairs were very wobbly. Thought they might crash to the floor. Again, I didn't complain. Overall, the hotel was very clean and nice looking. The bathroom cabinet needs replacing (updated).

At first impression, my family and I were very disapointed because the websight had promised a sprawling mediteranean style hotel, and in reality the majority of the rooms are in a courtyard layout overlooking a massive parking lot. It has the feel of an upgraded motel and the decor in the rooms is mediocre. FOR THE MONEY THIS INN IS NOT WORTH IT. IT IS NOT A BED & BREAKFAST EITHER BUT RATHER A FREE BREAKFAST JUST LIKE ANY OTHER BEST WESTERN. I WAS NOT IMPRESSED IN THE LEAST. NEXT TIME I STAY AT THE FESS PARKER DOUBLE TREE...THIS IS MORE MY STYLE AND THE RATE IS ABOUT THE SAME!
Great last minute get -away! Parked the car upon arrival and never used it until leaving. Walked or used the hotels bikes to get around. Location is close enough to walk or bike to beach, shops and dining. Kids loved the warm cookies and milk in the evenings!

Great value a couple of blocks from the beach. Enjoyed our stay. The hotel was nice, great pool/hot tub and clean rooms with quality linens (often found in more high end hotels). Free continental breakfast, wine and cheese bar, free movies (DVD's) and bike "rental". A couple of things - the rooms were right above the garage - so you do hear any loud […] motors starting up/coming/going. Also, we were in a room right by the pool and did hear the loud clanging of the pool gate during open hours. Even so, it was a pleasant environment overall, great service and clean. Continental breakfast: fruit, cereal, bagels, pastries, hard boiled eggs, juice, same coffee. If you like wine & cheese, stay at a less expensive place and go out for wine & cheese - because their wine is bland, sweetish, tastes watered-down, […] and they had one kind of cheese. The hotel was not as advertised! It describes itself as enchanting, romantic, and fancy. Rather, it is a bit old, you park near your room ( like a motel) and it is wedged between a gas station and a nasty apartment building. The rooms are a bit old and the accessories are also dated. The location is about 10 minutes walk from the main area, State Street, […] which was about the only benefit. If it had been described as it really is, then we wouldn't have been so disappointed. My room was not a suite and the bedrooms are right by the hallway. It kinda felt like those that were walking by our room were in bed with us. NO privacy.
