Hotellet som i sin tid startet med utdelingen av Oscar, ligger meget godt til i forhold til å oppleve Hollywood på nært hold. Med et yrende liv like utenfor inngangen, er det lett å la seg rive med i stemningen på Hollywood Boulevard! Hotellet har også mange tilbud til gjestene innenfor sine egne dører, men det hindrer ikke gjester som vil ha rolige […] kvelder og netter i å få den søvnen de trenger. Les mer

Hotellet er gammelt og har hold på stilen. Dette går nok en del utover kvaliteten på baderommet. Romet var ellers nokså romslig og Sengene og putene var meget bra. Parkeringssevisen var topp. Alt i alt er vi rimelig godt fornøyd og vil absolutt anbefale hotellet.

Hotellet har veldig bra beliggenhet for det meste. Nattlivet er også veldig bra på hotellet. Både hollywood blv og sunset blv ligger ligger ved hotellet.

Bodde der i 3 dager. Veldig grei beliggenhet. Svømmebasseng og fellesområder ok. Tepper og senger burde vært skiftet ut.

Hotel was nice, although you get the impression that the money has been spent on the lobby and the pool, and not the rooms which are quite old, but still okay. I you want a nice hotel with good location and a pool for those hot LA summer months, this is for you.

This is the second time I visit the hotell and I'll be happy again. It's really not much to say, hotel rooms are modern, clean and well maintained. The location is the best in Hollywood. Would recommend everyone to visit the hotel, without blinking.

Hollywood Roosevelt har svært bra beliggenhet. Service OK, valet parekring med god service og høy pris. Rommene var trange og slitne, men renholdet OK. Anbefaler likevel hotellet totalt sett.

Advice for future bookers: 1. during the week, always book the cheapest room. The roosevelt is always empty and they will upgrade you, or offer you a cheap upgrade for a premium room. 2. If you are staying so you can hang out at the pool and work the next day, a. they let anyone hang out at the pool for free, so just stay somewhere else and go to the […] roosevelt pool for free. b. Even if you are paying for a $300 room, they still make you pay for wifi. You get no additional perks, or special treatment for actually staying at the hotel. Les mer

Very much a place to be if you are trying to impress. The hotel is lovely insidde, tthe rooms are very clean and finished to a very high level. As you would expect, not the basic contents to the mini bar which is transferred into the prices. 24 degree bar was very pleasant and the food brilliant at a fair price. Evening in the hotel bars was very relaxing […] and pleasant. Checked in mid afternoon and found the pool area very busy with the younger generation baying for attention from anybody who would listen. This made it impossible to use. The hotel is in the best location right in the centre of all the action. I really received the Hollywood experience here as there is so much going on in the hotel and around it. We had a last minute change of plans and ended up heading to Hollywood instead of Santa Monica. The old, dark history of the Roosevelt was great and our teens especially enjoyed being directly across from the Chinese theatre and the Red Carpet! The staff brought upgraded our room too at the last minute as we were originally were booked in a room that […] didn't have enough space for the rollaway bed. The only downside was the shower - we learned the hard way to face the shower head toward the wall. Otherwise you'd step out to a sea of water. Overall - great fun Les mer

If you come to LA, whether for business or you're a tourist, Roosevelt is the best hotel out there. I go to LA all the time and I've even stayed at the Roosevelt for more than a month at a time. The location is great. The staff is amazing. Your car is ready to go whenever you need it, there's 24 hour room service, several restaurants and bars, and the […] most amazing atmosphere imaginable. The location is dead center for tourism. But the washroom in the hotel room is bad. We had a group of 5 people reserved. The room had 2 towels. The shower had as much pressure as a crapped out old water fountain. Thank god the woman did not condition their hair, or we would still be there. The elevators were secured so you could not go downstairs and […] then back up without a room key(which barely worked). Oh, and they only gave us 1 key!! Did I mention their was 5 of us??? Not only was is $300 for a night but then a $35 charge per night for parking. I know it's LA but c'mon, it's a pretty run down part. Never again. Les mer

This hotel caters to a younger crowd but my husband and I enjoyed our stay none the less. This hotel is quite beautiful and close to many attractions. The food and drinks were wonderful but pricey, so be prepared. Staff is very nice and will work to make sure you are comfortable.

Although the Hollywood Roosevelt had a prime location on Hollywood Boulevard, the room I stayed in was not what I expected for such an iconic establishment. I read that the hotel had recently undergone a huge renovation and while the common areas of the hotel were beautiful, it was obvious that the renovation did not make it to my floor or room. Both […] were dark and dingy and the room itself reminded me of a hostel I stayed in in NYC once, except that room did not come with a mini-bar stocked with full sized bottles of liquor and didn't have a picture of a seeming heroine addict looming over the bed. The carpet was buckled, worn and stained and the furniture was in pretty shabby condition. The chair at the desk (and I am using these terms loosely) was so hard and uncomfortable that I had to stack pillows on it in order to sit and work. The bathroom was nice but could have been cleaner. I hate to find hair in the shower. The bed itself was comfortable and the linens were clean and soft. Overall it was NOTHING like the picture they showed. Les mer

I got a very good deal on my room AND they upgraded it when I was there! Everything was great. The only thing I have to complain about is the $150 charge they hold for each night of your stay for incidentals which nowhere was stated when I booked my stay.

I loved staying at the Roosevelt hotel. They upgraded me to a poolside cabana room and it was a very cool and spacious room. The Tropicana pool bar was fun and relaxing to lay on their comfy lounge beds overlooking the pool. I didn't want to leave!

We enjoyed the stay. Perfect location for Hollywood and visits to local fun places. Also learned a bit of history while we were there. The original Oscars were held in that hotel for instance. Only unpleasant detail was that our room was on the 3rd floor and the "view" was of the roof with it's motors and structures!

I went there on a Tuesday to have a relaxing day for my sisters bday, we found parking in a nearby residential area so saved ourselves the 30 dollar valet expense. There is a parking structure right next door that charges 20 bucks for self parking. We checked in at around 1pm and our room wasnt ready, right away they upgraded us to a bigger room we […] just had to wait an hour which we didnt mind because we hung out by the pool the whole time. The room was decent, it was very roomy except for the bathroom but then again you have to remember this hotel is very old. We walked everywhere during the day, we made it to Cabo Wabo happy hour and then Cabo Cantina happy hour and Mel's Drive in for dinner. We did not use the car once until it was time to go home. The hotel was very chill and staff was very friendly, over all we're planning on doing this once a month. Will definitely return. My only con is that they do not have a jacuzzi and they're pool is pretty deep (due to the hotels age). Les mer

We enjoyed everything about the Roosevelt - the staff was so helpful and very attentive. The hotel is right on Hollywood Blvd so there was plenty of things to do. We will be staying there again. It was great!

It's very close to all Hollywood attrations butour room had wall view i thought cuz we have got it with lowest price on net. Very nice lobby and very very nice people are around every night.

The hotel is located in an ideal location for tourists who want to do sightseeing. Everything is just a stone throw's away! We rented a King Superior bedroom. The room was very small and compact. The basic comforts of the room were not matching with the price and the hype of the hotel. The bathroom was small and just adequate.

Solid 4 star hotel, right in the middle of the Times Square-ish part of Hollywood. The lobby bar was closed for a private event when I stayed, and it seemed like that might happen pretty frequently--which is a shame because it looks like a great space to hang out in. The hotel stay was amazing! The rooms were contemporary with alot of space. The pool area was amazing and the in hotel entertainment had plenty a club. The club is located in the heart of Hollywood and directly across from the Red and Blue lines. Definitely worth the stay.

Our room was clean and nice. It was a little noisy in the mornings but we went on a busy weekend with the LA marathon and st Patrick's day. The pool was gorgeous and we loved all the seating areas. The restaurants were just okay, for the money Id rather go somewhere else.
