We love hit the Sagehouse Bakery for a croissant in the mornings with our cappuccino. The location is perfect.

Great other than the $15 resort fee that they tack on when you are checking out.

this hotel was just right for my sister and me. we stayed there two nights during a road trip through new mexico. she and i are in our mid-20's, and we had never been to santa fe before. the service, room, amenties & decor were all - literally - perfect. we couldn't ask for anything better. we did have the convenience of having our own car, so we didn't […] end up using the shuttle to get to the plaza or around town, which was nice. but i'm sure the shuttle would have been great, too. also, i just want to add that the best meal we ate during our stay was at the Amaya restaurant in the hotel. we're both vegetarians, but the hotel chef & staff made us a delicious meal to accomodate us. also, it was incredibly inexpensive compared to the other places we went! she and i tried two other over-priced restaurants in town, paid 3 times as much as we did at the hotel, and left both restaurants completely disappointed in the food and service. Amaya was great and yummy and nice tasty peek at Santa Fe cuisine. overall, i'd recommend this hotel to anyone interested in staying in the city - families, young folks, whomever. i'd go back in a heartbeat. The hotel has a lot of character typical of the region (architecturally but also in the services it offers, restaurant, etc) and is very well managed. The restaurant Amaya is great and with reasonable prices, and there are events on certain nights, such as traditional native american flute performance. The continental breakfast is of good quality, but […] wasn't included in the price. The negatives are: Small bathroom Daily $15 fee is added to the bill, which is to cover services such as parking, shuttle bus, wi-fi. I feel it is not right that they are charging this as extra when I wasn't asked if I wanted to pay for the services. This should have been included in the base hotel rate so that when searching for a hotel you have a fair idea of what it costs. Les mer

The facilities are a little dated, the location close to the train station (Road Runner), and within walking distance to resturants and Canyon Road. What makes this hotel a great place to stay is the friendly and helpful staff.

Wonderful value, excellent location, lovely fitness/spa area. Would definitely stay there on a future visit to Santa Fe

The hotel is as nice as it looks on the pictures- service and ambiance are great HOWEVER they charge a significant additional fee that you cannot avoid and is not included in the rate you pay at expedia or hotels.com This was an unpleasant surprise - especially because supposedly all the stay was already paid for beforehand.

We arrived at the hotel early and were quickly checked to our room. We found the room to be small but decided to go with it. The first morning, the hot water was unavailable in the shower. We reported it to the front desk and were assured that a technician would be looking at the problem. The second morning, the hot water was unavailable. We went to […] the front desk and were offered the chance to shower in a suite that was available. Only after we showered was there an offer by the manager to relocate to the suite. Excellent place for travelers and close to many things to see and do. Good food in the hotel and in the area of the hotel. Will stay here again.

LOVED our stay at the Hotel Santa Fe & Spa. The dining was perfect and we also enjoyed the local musicians who performed during dinner. We stayed 3 nights and the room was beautifully decorated and always neat and tidy. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and will book again when we visit Santa Fe.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Sante Fe. The New Year's dinner at the hotel resturant was GREAT! The rooms were nicely furnished and the beds very comfortable. The shower was a little dated and the housekeeping staff woke us up at 8:00am. Overall, a great place, great food and service. We really appreciated the shuttle service!

Rooms are small but lend you that cozy feeling, nicely appointed and cloud nine beds to fall into.

The hotel is lovely, but the atmosphere is a bit on the serious side. Native American flute music in the lobby was nice, but not particularly festive. Booked 4 rooms for our group,the rooms were comfortable and clean, the staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast dining was very good.

We love to escape to Santa Fe for weekends. This hotel is located right across from an amazing bakery (sagehouse). the hotel is ok. It seems to be more run down of late.

We loved this Hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had snow and lost power in the Hotel. The staff did a good job handling the power loss, especially since they hardly lose power.

Everything was OK except the receptionist at the time was was not so welcoming if ever she said some welcoewelcome remarks then it was a fake.Shd was in a hurry to check us that I have tk gobackdownstairs bec apparently the key she gave me for the was non working key, besides that mg one night stay was comfortable.

Warm and friendly hotel with terrific services - spa and on-site restaurant. We enjoyed the cozy fire in the lobby while we ate our meal and listened toa talented Native American flautist. Ok at best. Very small room with even smaller bathroom. Front desk very unhelpful. Had charges posted to my room which were not mine. Had a hard time getting them reversed. Still not sure if it was completed. Used Sweetner wrappers under my bathroom counter.

This is an excellent hotel in all respects. The location is ideal, being within reasonable walking distance of The Plaxa and Cathedral, State Capital, Mission and Canyon Road. However, for those who are invalids or with limited walking capability like myself, the complementary shuttle bus service is a real bonus. The food was of excellent quality and […] value - we had breakfast both morni ngs, a full dinner the first evening and a bar meal the secoond evening. The decor is so attractive and in keeping with the New Mexico culture. The star feature is, however, the staff and the service they provide. I loved the fact that it was native owned but really the rooms were so small. I can handle a small room but the bathroom was not navigatable. I could hardly close the door! I also think for the amount of money you pay, breakfast should be included.

Nice once your there but if downtown Sant Fe is your destination..bring good shoes! Rooms were smaller than expected or from the pics on the website. Expensive drinks too!

The hotel and grounds are immaculate. The interior is tastfully decorated with Native American art. The service is excellent. The hotel restaurant is 4-star quality. The room was very clean and furnished with rustic furniture. The only negatives I have are the quality of the mattress was average at best. We had a king-size bed which significantly sagged […] in the middle. Also, the "rustic" blinds on the windows and balcony door let in a lot of light so bring your eye pillow if you want to sleep in. I have stayed all over Santa Fe, and for the price this place was a great value. The location, grounds and staff were all superb! We'd highly recommend this hotel. We really loved the hotel lobby area with the fireplace. The staff must also be highly praised. JG

The treat of our stay was the entertainment of Flutest and Classical Guitarist Ron. Sitting area during performace is limited. Get there early. A must attend. The hotel was hidden amongst beautiful greenery and you felt like you were in your own oasis. One of the best amenities was their free shuttle all over Santa Fe, NM. We upgraded to a junior suite and it was the perfect size for two, well worth it. The rooms and common areas are beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the walk - about 6 blocks- to downtown, so never had to take advantage of the free shuttle. There are several good restaurants nearby on Guadalupe Street, so we never ate in the hotel. The Hotel Santa Fe & Spa was perfectly situated between old downtown & the newer Railyard district. Thus, we could walk everywhere! Our only complaints was that the room was kind of small, and they charge you for using their computer/business center by the hour!! Even if you just need to check in to your airline for flights! Lovely hotel in a very good area and close to the Plaza. The standard rooms were a bit small but very clean. Shuttle bus service around Santa Fe was an extra benefit.

We loved the Hotel Santa Fe! The room was comfortable, the food was good, and it was a nice walk to the downtown and plaza area! The people who work there were very friendly and helpful which made our stay even more enjoyable!

Lovely spa area, good public areas, room was nice but not inspiring with an overly small bathroom.

Great location, warm lobby which was doggie friendly along with the rest of the hotel, unique menu with beautiful presentation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Sante Fe and will not hesitate to stay there again when we return. Mary L

This hotel met our needs for a spa but the rooms were a little small. The locations was perfect and the hotel shuttle brought us anywhere we wanted to go within a mile of the hotel. The staff was very accomodating. The food at the hotel was a little pricey for what they offered.

First room had dead insects in the bathroom. They upgraded us to a junior suite and was very accommodating. The entire hotel experience was pleasant. 10 minute walk to the plaza and other eateries.

Everything was wonderful except the hotel needs updating and the grounds weren't manicured. However, the patio garden in the restaurant was beautiful.
