I stayed 2 nights with my kids not impressed !! should have went to the Hampton ! no bkft included, the slide at the pool was only open certain times and no fridge in my room (rm614)!! It was defiantly a much higher rated hotel when it was the Delta!!! Wasn't awful by any means but would not recommend to anyone !!

The only thing about this hotel , unless you book at a higher rate room, if you decide to go for breakfast, then you pay , the breakfast prices are out rageous, starting at 12.00 for a normal breakfast, I took 2 sls of toast with coffee, cost $6.90 I can do a whole loaf of bread and a dozen eggs for less than that, otherwise no complaint, They should […] have continental breakfast like most Holiday Inn, if you want a hot breakfast then you would pay .... This was a overnight stay for my 12-yr old daughter & her friends - I was disappointed that the waterslide was only open during certain hours, this was the main reason we chose this hotel over others in the area & these hours were not posted anywhere online. The description of the room stated there was a pull out sofa and there wasn't. The room was […] very clean, but the carpets in the common areas were very stained. The kids ate free in the morning which was a plus. I received a bill under the door in the morning for local phone calls I had made - when I addressed this with the front desk they removed the charges, I wonder how many people are being charged & not disputing. I could hear the music from the bar across the street until after 2am - so some sound proofing needs to be considered. Les mer

We were very pleased with our decision to stay at the Holiday Inn Waterfront. Our room had a wonderful view of the harbour, and was very comfortable and clean. Friendly,helpful staff. Very pleasant staff. Nice facility although dated, I believe it will be undergoing a renovation soon. More staff in the restaurant and pub would have kept things moving along, especially when they knew several teams would be staying for the weekend. I would be happy to stay again.

Great mattress so the sleep was wonderful. Quiet location right on the water but very close to everything. The bathroom was a bit small for two people but the room was quite spacious. I would recommend this hotel for sure!

Recently renovated and now managed by Holiday Inn this is a clean hotel in a great location on the waterfront.

The hotel was formerly a Delta now it's Holiday Inn the only complaint I had was with the contro for the air conditioning. It has a great resturant and the foods great.

Despite all the bad reviews of area, it's not that bad. A little out dated, needs some TLC, but we came for a cheap place to sleep before heading for an early flight and it's just want we received. It's not the hilton, but there's nothing really wrong with it either.

I was placed right next to the elevator and it was the loudest elevator I ever heard. The staff assured me that it was brand new. Also, no phone book in room. I was promised a fridge in the advertisement for the room and the cupboard for the fridge was empty.

Plans changed at last minute,gave the room to my cousin. Staff at the hotel made the transition seamless.She had a great time , thank you !

The hotel was nice and the view was beautiful. The restaurant was just okay. The hotel's dining room was closed so it forced most people to the restaurant attached.

Awesome views of the harbour and boardwalk, step to the boardwalk and the main downtown area!

Very expensive for the quality. No breakfast included in the cost. Beds were too hard and uncomfortable. Staff did not know the area very well which made it difficult looking for good restaurants. Will not recommend.

The Hotel was very nice and the view of the harbour was good.The room was very clean and as we have never been to the east and we were driving it was easy to find. The only draw back we have is the food @ the Hotel was a little pricy but we would stay there again.

At the time of our visit there were people staying there for a major concert, a high school class reunion, a birthday and a wedding. Unfortunately one of the two elevators was shut down for service at a very busy time for the hotel. It was a inconvenience for most guests.

For a stay in Sydney, you could not have a better location. I always consider Holiday Inn properties about 2.5 stars. This one is nicer.

The Delta name is not well represented by this hotel. The large crowd of the last day of March Break was very noisy... with seemingly no controls on children in the halls at very late hours making much noise... followed by a lack of sufficient staff to clean up after. Fantastic harbourview from room. Kids loved the pool slide. Hottub a little too hot to be comfortable. Would definitely stay again when in Sydney.

The hotel was very nice - the main elevator wasn't working - this was a minor inconvenience and the folks who showed us the way to the service elevator were very nice. We found the room very warm - we couldn't open a window and the air conditioner and fan were very noisy. We enjoyed the view of the harbour.

The room was a little pricey but the staff and resturant was excellent. I enjoyed being able to walk to all the events and bars. thank you

Pleased with our stay--only problem we incured was VERY loud, noisy people on our floor. Beds were wonderful & comfortable---bathroom needs a face-lift.

the room was really cleant and the staff was fantastic but the pool area is old and needs some serious renovations but overall it was a great stay plus kids under 6 eat free in the hotel restaurant which was a bonus and the food was great

Our experience with the Delta Sydney was really good. The beds were comfortable and the kids loved the pool. We really enjoyed our bartender in the pub. He was really funny. Our waitress was really nice too.

this hotel is in dire need of a reno! it is very tired and dated. The food in the restaurant was good but very over priced -- $50plus breakfast for four.

We were quite pleased with our one-night stay at the Delta Sydney hotel. The staff was very accommodating, and we were particularly impressed with the friendliness of the dining room staff. The view from the restaurant was impressive and the hotel is ideally located to provide access to many business, shopping, eating and leisure activities. The staff in the restuarants were very friendly. But the reception staff were not very helpful, and after not telling me about the breakfast restaurant upon checkin, they made me feel rather stupid when asking about nearby breakfast places.
