Hotel was good enough for a stop over. The outside looks a bit rough in spots but the inside was clean. Room needs some updating. Not a bad experience in any way...

The hotel was great, rooms very clean, pool area great and the breakfast amazing!! Gret value for the price and close to everything. Our only problem was the snowmobilers that parked sideways with their trailers on the back taking up 3 and 4 spaces not leaving any parking for the hotel guests. Room was clean, hotel not so clean. No gym. The pool was ok but hot tub not working, and staff wasn't fixing it. Breakfast was nice to have but very basic, just a cold breakfast.

The experience started off great with a excellent welcome and registration. Upon arrival to the room we were happy with what we found, it was a bit crowded but we made do. There was a 1L bottle of water on the night stand which we assumed was complimentary so it was drank over the course of the evening. We used the pool which was refreshing but found […] the hot tub to be a little weak in jet pressure and it made a lot of funny noises. Upon sign out we were asked if we drank the water bottle from the night stand and found out that our assumption of it being free was very wrong as we were charged over $3.00 for a bottle of water. A definite negative to the experience on the way out the door. I will not likely forget this negative slap when I am looking for a place to stay in North Bay next time! Disappointed! Les mer

This hotel is by far a strong 3 out of 5 but what it lacks in glamour it made up for by the amazing friendly staff. At the front desk 'SYLVIA & BULAH' were extremely helpful, professional and a pleasure to deal with. The pool closes way to early and opens wayyyyyyy too late... 9 or 930 am????? In the business we are long gone by 9! ESPECIALLY since […] there is NO GYM at this location the pool needs to be open 530 or 6 am until 11pm AT LEAST! I was very dissapointed in this hotel. It was recommended to me by my brother for the convience to TransCanada Highway but I was very displeased with the guests and the lack of control the staff had on keeping quests under control. It was very loud and parties going on and not once did hotel staff address this issue. I did not feel comfortable or safe […] in this hotel and left very early next morning because of this. Les mer

Front desk, Bridgette was very good to meet all our needs of extra pillows, towels and shampoo. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The restaurant next door is excellent! Great food, friendly service and reasonable prices. Breakfast in the morning at the hotel was adequate.clean and comfortable

I'm really not all that picky with hotels. Usually it's just a clean bed, and friendly service we're after. One of the main reasons we picked this hotel was because a complimentary breakfast was included and we knew our mornings would be busy. The breakfast however is served in the lobby. There was a lack of seating, and very crowded. There also wasn't […] sufficient toasters, microwaves etc for us to make a quick bite and hit the road. Instead it took a long time waiting to use the services and many people had to take the food back to their rooms because of the seating situation. The hotel also advertises newly renovated rooms. While our room was sufficient, the bathroom was not. The bathrooms are not renovated with old yucky tile and the fans do not work well. The pool is also very small and not much to write home about. Lastly, although we didn't have a lot of interaction with the staff they weren't that friendly. They were polite enough but it was obvious they were just putting their time in and didn't really care to be there. Overall, not the worst hotel I've ever been in but it certainly could make a few changes to make a guests stay more enjoyable. Les mer

The room was clean but no matter what we did or said the room was way to hot to sleep. The staff did nothing to help.

I was there for a bridge tournament. We were supposed to play Friday, Saturday and possibly Sunday. However, we were unable to hook up with another pair for Sunday. I tried to cancel the room for Sunday around 5pm on Thursday and was told I had to go through the hotel on Saturday. The hotel refused to give me a credit of any kind. The room was small and outdated. The washroom had mould in it and the front desk did not seem to care. The pool area was dirty and poorly maintained.

Great staff. Very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and quiet at night. The beds were firm and comfortable and soft sheets. Good restaurant next door with 10%.

I spent two nights in your hotel.The airconditioned room was perfect, temperatures outside high 30's. I like your hotel, but the breakfast was not perferfect because the toaster slowly.We enjoyed the pool, I liked the hottub the best. We satisfied, with the services, and room. We"ll be back...

Our stay was comfortable, however, very brief. From our short stay, I would consider staying in the Travelodge again. My only negative was that the blowdryer was not functioning.

Great sevice and location, good breakfast. Nice updated bathrooms. Carpet in room was gross...seemed greasy. No elevator to second floor was a pain when you have a small child and lots of luggage.

The hotel is a bit out dated. They have made attempts to upgrade (there was a really nice vanity in the bathroom, but turn around and there was old pink tiles in the shower with bits of mildew). The mattresses needed replacing, and I would have liked a couple more pilows (chicks like lots of pillows, and there was only two). Also, I always use the little […] shampoos and conditioners, creams and soaps that are usually offered in the bathrooms, but there was only one little bar of soap (and no pens either??). On the other hand though, the front desk staff were exceptionally nice, and completely willing to please. Overall, not a bad hotel for the price, but I'd likely pay a few extra dollars, and stay elsewhere next time. Les mer

not very clean and very smelly. also we were never asked if we wanted a non smoking room. and also during the night there was a lot of noise.next morning we told the attendant and said it was because of a WEDDING!!!!!!!!!! WE ONLY WANTED TO HAVE A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP.J.P.ALBERT

2 adults and 2 early twenty daughters and our dog stayed for 1 night. Room is not very large so it was a little crowded, fine for one night. Room was very cold when we got there and the outside temp was -18, would have been nice if heat had of been turned up. Beds were comfortable and surprisinly we did not hear road noise considering we were on the […] highway side of building. We would stay in this hotel again. Les mer

Friendly staff Helpful with any questions asked Very good breakfast, could use more seating. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. Pool seemed to have very strong clorine at night but was okay the next day. Wouldn't hesitate to book again if we were coming to NorthBay

This hote cost us the same as one we stayed at the night before and there was no comparison. The one the night before was pure luxury compared to this one. The room smelled like cigarette smoke although it was a non smoking room....awful!!! The pillows were flat, the bed was made like a 5 year old had made it. Very friendly staff on arrival and when checking out. Breakfast room was very small and hard for people to get around each other while trying to get breakfast. Couldn't accomdate many people at one time. Toaster took forever to toast and held people up.

Overall very good hotel. Pool was nice also, hot tub was actually hot. A little pricey but slept well.
