The bedspread was soiled with dried blood and many yellow stains. When asked to have a clean replacement, they did not have one and gave us another blanket. Not good.

There was no hanger or rack to hang clothes. Cheap price does not mean No service /facilities.

We arrived late evening, the clerk was nervous and we were told the wrong room number. otherwise the stay was good. Would probably stay again.
"Great Stay - Great staff"
At first glance this hotel is nothing to cheer about an older building, amongst a lot of much newer hotels. The staff is amazing, very friendly and helpful. The room was absolutely wonderful, larger and more comfortable then we expected. We had a King Jacuzzi, and were pleasantly surprised to find it was big enough for two rather then the usual jacuzzi […] tub you find in most places. Beware of the mirror above the jacuzzi, can be shocking if you don't know it is there. Breakfast is the normal fare, and staff is ready to jump to get whatever you need. We were so pleased with out stay, we changed our return trip stay reservations to stay with them again. Les mer

It was like sleeping in a closet. Smallest motel room I have ever seen.
"Cheap but smelly"
My husband booked this online at the last minute due to my travel plans changing. I was glad to have a place to sleep, but it took a while to get over the smell and sight of the mold in the bathroom. Room was pretty small, and it was minimum for needs
"Small and gross"
This room was very small and cramped. The blanket on the bed was stained with something crusty and the shower was clogged. I would never stay there again!!!
I needed a stop for a quick stop, flop and go. Your hotel filled my needs with quick, friendly service at a reasonable price. Can not ask for more than that. I feel sure that if I needed more you would have provided it, Thanks

"Only if you just need to sleep"
Room was clean, but I wouldn't recommend this hotel for anything more than a quick drop in and sleep. The room was small and in need of some tlc. The comforter was torn in a couple of places, the paint was a mess, the frames of the pictues were fallng apart, etc. Plus, in the morning the maid just opened the door and barged right in. Thankfully we were […] dressed and in the process of leaving, but this could have been really akward and awful. Knock and announce yourself before you enter...common sense I thought in the hotel business. This hotel could have been a lot worse but could have been a lot better too. Les mer
"Convenient but not clean"
this hotel has a convenient location, right off the interstate, but was not very clean. The blanket under the comforter on the bed had obviously not been clean in a while and the floor turned my barefeet brown.

I have stayed everywhere and anywhere and if this defines 2 star rating?... then I'd hate to see a 1. Dirty bathroom and carpet had layers of filth in hard to reach places. AC didn't work so the room and linens were musty with mildew. If my arrival wasn't so late at night, I would have changed hotels. "filthy rooms"
I stay at hotels alot because my fiancee works out of town and has to travel alot, so I go see him. I have been at so many hotels I can't count and I can honestly say that I HAVE NEVER stayed at a filthier hotel! Our room was a jacuzzi suite and the hot tub didn't work, the water would not get hot, the only 2 jets worked. The room had an odor like it […] had not been cleaned. There was an inch of dust on everything. The floors had not been vaccumed. Me and my mother had to raise the mattress to make sure there were no bed bugs. No bugs, but, there was all kinds of food and other particles laying there. The breakfast the next day didn't have many choices. I was just mortified at the whole experience. If I had to stay there again, I wouldn't, I would sleep in my car first! Les mer

NEVER stay at this hotel. The TV was not updated to what the local cable company suggested. The room was beat up and in need of new carpeting and bedding. And as an added bonus, there are BEDBUGS. Worst room I've ever seen.
"Too small for comfort"
I booked this room thinking I would get the typical Days Inn accomidations experienced last fall when we traveled out west. The room was so small it was difficult just to move around, let alone meet with family members to celebrate our daughter's graduation from college. I knew from reviews that this was an older building. But the price and the fact that we just needed a bed overnight led me to book it anyway. Our single queen room was small, and the sink IS VERY low, with not much room to set a curling iron on. But the sheets and bathroom were extremely clean! The bed was comfortable and had two kinds of pillows per […] person. We were glad to use the free wi-fi. The bedspread, carpet and fixtures are quite old. The breakfast was adequate: 2 cold cereals, a waffle maker, juice, coffee, bagels/muffins, apples, and yogurt. Our room was not near an exit but I could hear doors slamming most of the night and early morning. If you know all this ahead of time, you can make your own choice. Les mer

This Day's Inn is in an ideal location, at an Interstate exit, near every kind of restaurant you can imagine, and an easy ride to Mammoth Cave National Park. The continential breakfast could use more items and another waffle iron.

We rented two rooms for one night and had no problems with either one. It's not a first class hotel, but is very satisfactory for the price. For those on a tight budget, this place was a good deal. We would definitely do it again.

after arriving home, got a letter charging me for smoking in the room......that was bull. the room smelled like that when we checked in! what a ripoff....that must me how they rent those tiny rooms so cheap! Called the manager to discuss it and he was rude and hateful....accusatory and ....I learned my lesson about booking cheap rooms! I have no recorse […] because when I signed to check in it said at the bottom they could charge me 250.00 for cleanup fees if there was any smoking evidence.....nice little scam they have going there! "Nothing Positive to Say"
Believe all the negatives. The first floor smelled like mildew,the room was very outdated,bathroom door wouldnt close,no exhaust fan in bathroom so the ceiling was flaking away from moisture,bathroom had mismatched sink and sidesplash,shower was horrible,etc... You get the picture!

The lobby was clean. As soon as we walked into our room, I noticed a pungent, mildew smell. The bed mattress was old & hard with a huge sunk-in hole in the middle. Our bedspread was faded, smelled and I tripped several times over the strings that were un-raveling from it. The bathroom sink was SO low that I had to bend over to brush my teeth. I'm 5'2"! […] We got up early because we had to leave for our next destination very early. The door between the room hallway and the lobby was LOCKED! We had to go outside, around the building, and then back inside through the front door to get back to the front desk. I wouldn't stay here again. There is a great Pizza place right across the parking lot - Mancino's; that was the highlight of my stay. The HotRod's game was great too! Les mer

Nice pool, opens at 8 and closes at 10. Good breakfast, even a do it yourself waffle maker! Memory foam bed was very comfortable.

The hotel is located right off the exit and has some fast food right across the road. The staff is friendly, and the room was comfortable. Does not come with any frills, like other higher end hotels. Would stay again when in the area.

The room was a little dated, but it was clean and quiet. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We have stayed here before and we will definitely stay here again!
"Not worth your time"
A low price cannot justify the mildew smell on the lower level of this facility. The sheets on one bed smelled of urine. Room keys wouldn't work after being coded. Ridiculous.
"Worth What I Paid"
My husband and I have stopped at this hotel for the past two years on our way home from Florida (to Michigan). After driving all day, it was well worth the money that we paid for the room. It is definitely nothing fancy, but it is clean and reasonably well maintained.

The room was not well maintained. The bathroom doorknob was not working properly. I asked the front desk what could be done about it so that I could actually close the door all the way to shower and use the toilet and be able to open the door again when I was done. There was nothing she could do except give me packaging tape to tape the latch down so […] I could open the door again when I was done. In addition to this the room was not very clean. The shower rod came down when I stepped into the bathtub. It looked like it had been attached only to the drywall. Otherwise, it was fine - I had no qualms walking around in my bare feet. Good price.

We found the room clean and quiet. The bed slept well. The breakfast was good. It was much better than we had expected based on some negative reviews.
