The room was big and comfortable but problem was with the electrical. Hotel was sold out and it was a hot day. Every AC was on high. Turning on the lights or TV caused the AC to cut out.

This RED-LION was most likely a converted run of the mill motel with a new name. Coming from Oregon I expected the same kind of quality room for my $$. This was double what it was worth for what I got.

I would stay here again. Inexpensive small cozy room. But hopefully next time the frig will be left plugged in.

We wre in town for a weekend concert and We needed a place to crash at night only so location wasn't an issue. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was dirty and the shower knob wasn't working. The closet floor was dusty and looked as if it hadn't been vacuumed in a long time. There was a dead roach on floor too.

Was only a one night stay, very pleasant experience. Check in went very easily and staff was very helpful.

I requested a two room suite from Hotels choice, and only had a one room suite upon checking in - when I complained about this the hotel told me to take it up with Expedia - really bad experience with hotels choice and with Red Lion - won't make either mistake again...

The room was very dirty and not enough towels. The room itself was roomy with all the amenities, large fridge, coffee machine, microwave but it all needed a good clean. Also some outlets missing their faceplates. With a good clean and for half the money this would have been a very acceptable place to stay for a couple of nights.

room was standard fare , there was some trash left in from previous guests.. the bathroom had a towel bar that was falling off the wall, and the grip tape strips in the tub were all peeling off making it uncomfortable to stand in the tub during a shower

Supposed to have been a suite. It was just 2 beds and a bathroom. Had another family eith us that booked a suite and the room they had was completely different. The manager was unapologetic or synpathetic. Didnt even offer to try to accomodate the guest. Room was horrible. The door frame was falling apart and you could easily tell where the door had […] been kicked in. When I booked the room I was expecting something much bigger. The latch hook on the door was broke and the wash clothes and bath towels were not clean. They had some green stains on them. The location was great because it was close too the places I needed too be that weekend and the people at the front desk were very helpful.

My room did not get any cleaning service over two days stay. Room was dirty with wet towels.

I realize the Indian Wells tournament was going on this week but this place needs a total refurbish. There was an inch layer of dust on top of the bed headboard, snot or blood on the walls near the bed, and the carpets were absolutely filthy. Next to a senior-living trailer park, run-down and well past its prime. Rooms are clean; beds are comfortable. Included "breakfast buffet" is typical carbohydrate-fest - pastry, bagels, toast, cereal, waffles, ... with some sad-looking scrambled eggs. Across the street from a large car-dealer. Not satisfied ! Room was a huge disappointment. Very old and run down. Pool was freezing cold because it got very little daylight. Staff was very friendly.

To begin with there was no water in the toliet so i called for service took about 20-30 mins. for someone to respond. The person that responded was a cleaning lady with towels in her hands, she turned on the faucet for the toliet and put the towels under the hoses.. It was obvious there was a leak and yes there was a leak cause I can see the water leaking. […] In the morning the bathroom floor was soaking wet!!! A friend of mine reserved a room there the same day and checked in about 4hrs earlier than I did, to find out that she was given room 221 and was moved to another room cause of the leak.... With 4 hrs to spare why couldn't the hose to the toliet be fixed???? For the price I paid it was not worth it at all... Les mer

Red Lion needs help, it has gone way down on my list if they don't supervise their brand better. Dirty carpet, had to change rooms first room carpet filthy. Furniture tired. Bathrooms tired. Nice help, not there fault!

I stayed one night at this hotel. For that purpose, given the price, it was fine. The hotel was decently clean but somewhat run down. I would stay here again for a night or two, but only if I couldn't find a better alternative for the price. They sell queen bed, but it's a full. Don't get fool by the pictures. The room including the appliances and furniture are in really bad conditions!

We stayed on a saturday night, nice room good value for the price. No issues with the room or location, but the breakfast next morning, the eggs, bacon and potatoes were served cold. Check-in was quick, property was on Hwy 111, lots of stores close by, but not walking distance. Aqua Caliente casino was just a few miles away, and downtown Palm Springs […] maybe 15 minutes away. Overall value was good, I would consider staying here again just to hang around Palm Springs and neighboring cities, for the sights and attractions. Les mer

It was the cheapest place to stay in the area. We just needed a place to sleep & didn't spend any other time at the hotel. Were visiting family in the area. From what i could tell the pool area seemed okay. The bed was very comfortable & for the price our expectations were met.

The front office staff were pleasant and effcient. The room was was roomy with a separate area for television watching. The microwave and small refrigerator were a pleasant surprise. We had a pleasant experience and would recommend this motel to other visitors.

Staff was pretty good and appeared to be trying hard to make things better. Had an issue with WIFI but after mentioning, the room did get WIFI. My Mom and I stayed for 17 nights. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We appreciated the free continental breakfast. They had a variety of food which consisted of apples, oranges, cereal, yogurt, bagels with cream cheese, waffles, bread for toast, mini muffins, juice, coffee and tea. The room was quite large and pretty good with 2 comfortable […] double beds, a fridge and microwave. The carpet was very dirty and stained in our room so we changed rooms after a few days. The next room's carpet was abit better but still dirty. I understand that the hotel is in the midst of painting some rooms and putting new carpets in the rooms. Les mer

Aside from a dirty, filthy carpet, stained drapes, and worn out furniture it was okay. Front desk personnel was pleasant and accomadating, but will not stay here again.

When I read the reviews it was very mixed. I was not sure what I was getting into. I was happy to see the room was clean and comfortable. The staff was pleasant. I would stay there again.

Pleasant motel. One concern, though, was that our room had motion sensors on some lights and one seemed overly sensitive. Staff took care right away of another issue that came up. Was in for a weekend baseball tournament in cathedral city. Stay was pleasant and comfortable for the one night I stayed. Staff was cordial and helpful.

Booked the 2 bedroom suite - even called first to ensure that it had a sofa bed. Couldn't use the sofa bed - or the sofa (cushions fell straight through). When I complained, front desk staff said they were "phasing out" sofa beds, and couldn't guarantee them! Really? They didn't mention that when I called. What would be in the living room area, if not […] a working sofa? Even without a working bed, the sofa should have been functional. Housekeeping was negligent (trash on floor when we arrived was still there 2 nights later), linens in sofa bed were soiled, sheets on one bed had a hole. Breakfast was cold. The staff at the Red Lion Inn were very friendly - the rooms could use a little TLC -they need a good scrubbing, The loaction is close to PS and Rancho Mirage, so it is centrally located. i would really give it a 5 if the rooms had been cleaner

All was very comfortable. Wish the breakfast stayed open a bit longer on New Years Day (haha) - for those that stayed up til Midnite. Could see many updates in progress now that Red Lion is taking over from Quality Inn. But we have stayed here for 4 years now - while party for 3 days with good friends... and is perfect for our needs.
