"Red Roof Inn Atlanta - Smyrna"
Run-down property. Room had clean sheets and towels, but had a strong rancid odor. A/C unit broken, did not heat the room. Rude desk clerk. Very conveniently located by I-75; other than that, really not a bargain.

"Comfortabe Stay"
Great for the price! Staff friendly and informative. The room was clean and cozy. I wish there were more stations available, but overall it was a great stay.

"Cheap, clean room."
We stayed here for the recent AWA con so we just mostly slept here for a couple of hours a night. The staff when checking in was nice and the room was clean....just what I needed for the weekend.
"You get what you pay for..."
2 lights were out, A/C had an ext cord running to it and as a result, the clock did not have power, the cleanliness of the sheets were questionable. All power went out temporarily during the night. If it weren't so late when I arrived, I would have asked for another room.

No light bulbs in the lamps. Clock time was set extremely wrong.

"Beautiful Remodel - Right off I-275"
Having stayed three whole weeks while my oldest daughter interned in Tampa. I think I may be qualified to give an adequate and review. Loved the fact that my 9yr old could make waffles every morning during compl. breakfast while I enjoyed coffee, juice and my english muffin. The internet/computer station area in the hotel lobby was a real help...and […] it was avail at no cost..no credit card, etc. The pool/workout room was nice and clean..one day we even got bumped out the pool so the cleaning svc could come in. I learned before coming, Ramada had a major makeover and it was very pleasing to look at. I felt like I was in a brand new hotel. Restaurant downstairs has great atmosphere...meeting others, although the quality of my food was not good on my 1 visit. Also,the new carpet in all of the 3 rooms we moved to was already badly soiled - Maybe rethink the Pets welcome policy or invest in a Carpet Cleaning Svc. Les mer

the hotel is very attractive and central to many restaurants and the staff was very pleasant to deal with . The room looked put together, but I found throw up (dried) on the bedside table that went down the side of the box spring, their was filth on the wall by the bed and who knows what was on the wall, hand high going into the bathroom. Under the […] bed was wadded up kleenex and a 2 liter with who knows what in it. the phone didn't work, nor the plug by the bathroom. the guest who extremely noisy in the wee hours of the mornings. but thanks for the staff this problem was resolved. So if you loooking for convience and cheap this is the place they just need a new housekeeper. Les mer
"Consistent consistency"
In the category of budget hotels, here's why I prefer the Red Roof: 9 out of 10 times everything is the same. Same room...down to the picture in the bathroom. It's a consistent organization. No frills, but who needs them when it's a crash pad for a night or three? Just free coffee and free (wireless) internet. Never had a problem with cleanliness/condition […] at any of them. Can't beat the price for the quality and consistency. Staff at this one was top-notch. Les mer

The hotel didn't meet my expectation. I requested a non-smoking room - I was given a smoking room. I indicated on hotels.com that I have an infant, and their was no accomodation for my infant. The toilet doen't flush properly, and makes a continuous sound that is so disturbing my infant was unable to sleep. These were just some of the problems that […] forced me for an early check out, and get a much better room for a comparable price. Les mer
"WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN"
The room stank real bad, like if someone had just gone potty. The tub and the walls were dirty had pink shampoo or something on the walls. The sheets had hairs from previous people, not ours. The carpet had lots of white stuff on it, needed to be vacuumed. And the air conditioner did not work. The room was hot as heck. They were booked (so they said) […] and they refused to give me the money back or clean it again. Very unhappy with this hotel. I will never again will I stay in that hotel. "talk about staying in the hood"
this hotel had people siting outfront all night, my boy friend would not even let me walk outside by my self. my bf got into a yelling match with forest in the front desk about one of owr rooms. we had to change rooms cause the ac would not work in the other room. we could smelll pot being smoked in one of the rooms next to us. there were people out […] side selling drugs. and two cops came there while we were there we asked the person at the front desk why the cops were there there coment was if cops didnt show up daily that something would be wronge. the location was the only benifit. "crack hotel"
this place was in a bad neighborhood. so bad infact that I didnt even stay. i pulled up to a convinece store 1 block away with bars and plexiglass. I didnt feel safe for myself or my car. I know its cheap but I have stayed in better places for the same price
There was some brown muck on the counter near the sink. No towels, soap or shampoo. Pretty sure they were running a brothel out of the room next door.
"Not Perfect but Fine for a Stopover."
The ceiling was sinking in a little, there was exposed wiring where a switch plate was needed, and the sink leaked a little. However, the rooms were clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the service was very professional. The rate was very reasonable. I would have no problem booking this place again.
"If you just need a bed...."
...then this hotel will suffice. There are no amenities except free wi-fi and the rooms are basic. The desk person who checked me in was cordial and when my key did not work she quickly moved me to another room. Unfortunately, that room was a smoking room and the smell got on everything I brought into the room. The bed was comfortable and the bath fixtures […] looked new, if cheap. The free wi-fi was what drew me to pick this hotel and it worked fine. Location is great but plenty of other properties in that area that are nicer. Les mer

"RR Inn Smyna"
A little hard to find as the sign was missing a portion of the lights. Had made my reservation using Hotels.com about 4 hours before I arrived. Everything was ready and check in took only about 2 minutes! The room was excellent for the price (which is lower than any motel I have used in the last 10 years). There were no frills. No coffee maker, no ironing […] board, no fridge, but I didn't expect them. There were plenty of clean towels, comfortable beds, and decent linens. Also, the free internet was easy to connect to. "Disappointing"
This was our second visit to this hotel in 3 years and things certainly seem to have degraded. I would have given my first visit a solid 3 rating, however this trip was not nearly so enjoyable. Upon arriving at check in the desk clerk's brother was in the lobby complaining that his remote was broken. After finally getting checked in we entered the room […] to find a puddle in the bathroom floor from where the toilet was leaking around the base. Our room's heater had obviously been off for a while since it was a chilly 55 degrees. The stairs outside our room were being climbed all night and literally shook the room's walls. And the topper of the bad visit was my wife getting up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom only to find a cockroach staring up at her. Les mer

"convient to everything I need"
The motel was quiet so I was able to rest. It was convient to eateries and shopping. I would stay there again.
"One Night was Acceptable"
I was in town for one night to find an apartment in the area. I was on a budget so the price was reasonable and there was plenty of fast food restaurants in the area for breakfast and dinner. For the price we paid, the hotel was as expected... the one pleasant surprise was that the bathroom had been updated/renovated. I'm not a trucker the hotel is good for a one night stay..the room I stay look more like a motel than a hotel.. the price was not bad for the service and room..also include microwave and office refrigerator..

"close to Atlanta, but not too close"
I really liked the location of the hotel for my leisure visit to Atlanta. It was close enough that the drive was easy, but far enough away that you get away from the traffic and chaos of the holiday-weekend travelers
"Quiet Savings"
The hotel is exactly behind Target which is great for picking up snacks and things. Literally 1 minute from the main interstate. I would definetly recommend this hotel!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room and hotel property are extremely clean. Easy access to I-75, but property is very quiet, no traffic sounds when I was trying to sleep.

This hotel is basic and comes with no frills. However, the room was neat and clean, everything worked, and I felt safe. I will stay at this hotel again when in the area.

For the price you pay, you get a decent hotel room. We were in town for some braves games and a race and the location was pretty close to downtown. The beds were decent and not dirty. It was close to a target and walmart. Lots of food locations with in a couple miles. I would stay again for the price and decent location. I never felt unsafe which was […] what i was worried about. "Non-smoking - I Don't Think So"
This was an allegedly non-smoking room, but the stench of smoke was so engrained in the carpet, walls, bed, the entire place smelled like a seedy bar. It was also obvious that efforts were made to drown out the stench with some sort of freshener or cleaning agent, but that combined with the smoke smell only compounded the problem. I actually had to […] keep my door wide open for 15 minutes after checking in to try to air out the room. Didn't work. The A/C unit - which has seen better days - put up a brave fight, but was overpowered by the elements and Atlanta heat. Fortunately, I only needed to be in the room for a brief overnight nap and shower. I won't even mention the "mystery" stains on the carpet. I know you get what you pay for, but I've stayed in other economy motels that haven't left me with regret. Les mer

The a/c in the room didn't work so we asked to change and got rude responses. We were finally changed to a non-smoking room, which we requested, but it smelled like smoke. The tub in the new room drained really slow. Didn't have the basics that most places have, ie hair dryer, kleenex, coffee maker or working remote for the tv.
