I thought the hotel was very dated, needs upgrades especially for the price. The staff seemed nice but breakfast was posted to be served at 6:30 and was not open the second morning and did not have much to offer.

Not worth the price, I travel a lot for business and the hotel rates really low, the bathroom walls had several poorly repaired holes, there was mold in the shower, I had to go to the office and ask for a towel to take a shower, I do not recommend this hotel.

The lobby smells so badly of curry, that our clothing smelled after just 5 minutes to register. The bed was ridiculously soft, lumpy, and uncomfortable. (ironically, the bed had a placard detailing how it was new and super comfortable.) We ran out of shaving cream, and (per the placard in the room) asked the front desk for a small replacement, and were […] told, "we don't do that here"... My wife and I enjoyed our stay. Really quiet, good for rooming with kids if on family trip. Over all would love to stay there again. The only upset is that parking isn't that great its more of a first come first serve. Luckily we were able to get a spot both nights we were there...

We needed to get to Carmel. Everything was booked. Nothing available with one day notice We were fortunate to find this place that would take three adults and young child. Two queen beds, non-smoking, clean comfortable, good nights rest and off to Carmel. Would like to have taken advantage of continental breakfast. Clean, nice beds, coffee maker, waffle maker for breakfast (kids loved it). Overall a nice place.

Pleasantly surprised. Room was a nice size, clean, comfortable & quiet. Breakfast was free & self serve. Cereal, toast/english muffins/waffles/oatmeal/coffee/milk/orange & apple juice.

The hotel clerk, Virginia, was wonderful. We had a very bad experience at a motel to the south in San Miguel. We called ahead to ask if the Quality Inn had a room. It was already after 7:00 pm. She checked for us and said we could stay. She was very pleasant on the phone and also when we arrived 90 minutes later. Everything was great during our 3-day […] stay. Our only suggestion is that the outside area for smokers be placed away from the non-smoking rooms. The smoke drifted up the three floors and aggravated us as we entered or left our room. Les mer

My only complaint would be the heater did not come on until early morning even after we adjusted the thermostat...when it did come on I thought a train was coming in our room

All I needed was a place to sleep and shower. As I walked in I was surprised to see how nice and clean the room is. Only negative I had was outside light generators if that's what the are, are a bit noisy.

Was in town for a conference and this hotel was close and the cheapest available. I reviewed the Yelp opinions and concur--good value, clean, no frills but adequate. Don't count on much of a breakfast, though, unless you like cereal, toast or pastries in cellophane. I'd go back if I just needed a place to sleep.

The outside look of the hotel is decieving as I found the room to be very pleasant and clean to stay in. It has Internet access and a printer available in the hotel lobby. The free continental breakfast is adequate, but the room is a bit small with only 4 tables. But it does have a large screen wall-mounted TV for the kiddies to watch cartoons on. There […] is a restaurant across the street that serves good food and and a In & Out Burger restaurant. It's not recommended that you walk in the surrounding neighborhood near Market and Kern Streets as this is an "iffy" part of town. Les mer

The hotel is located next to the North bound on ramp of the highway. It was a quiet room and served it's purpose for the night. It was nice and clean. It was a little hard to find coming from the Monterey area as I only had directions coming from the North. We stayed on the third floor so there wasn't anyone walking above making noise.

Room size was good. Bathroom was clean but sink was clogged. I told front desk 2 times but they did not fix it.

Not a bad hotel. It was clean etc, there are two other motels in direct vacinity and an arco. If price is what your looking for, then you wont be dissappointed, but if its comfort as in tv and bed, amenities etc, then this is not your cup of tea.

Was pleasantly surprised with room and amenities. Room was spacious, modern, clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful. Best bargain for comfortable 2 nights rest in Salinas. I will be returning to this motel.

There was a horrible odor in the room/bathroom and almost no water would come out in the sink. For some reason the bad odor was not present at the time of our arrival, only when we came back from dinner very tired and with all of our stuff unpacked.
