Hadde en natt på reise til Boston og valgte et litt bedre hotel for oppholdet i området. Dette var et meget flott 4 stjerners hotell som føltes som 5. Fra det at vi kom til hotellet i taxi så fikk vi den flotte behandlingen. Luksusfølelse hele tiden med super proff og hyggelig personell på arbeid. Fikk god hjelp med bykart, tips og råd, veksling av penger og bagasjehjelp inn og ut. Stort flott rom med superflott bad og kjempegod seng. Vi burte ha vart her flere dager men kommer sikkert tilbake for litt mer "luksus" i hverdagen.

Dette er ett veldig bra hotel, store fine rom. Beliggenhet Cambridge, men nær Boston sentrum, ca 5-6 minutter med T-bane/buss til The North Station, Boston. Det tar ca 2-3 mninutter å gå fra hotellet til T-banen/Buss. Det eneste å sette fingeren på er frokosten, som nok blir i enkleste laget. Alt er bra, men bor du der i en ukes tid skulle man ønske seg noe bede variasjoner,. Det ligger noen skikkelig bra supermarkeder i nærheten, ca 2 minutters gange fra hotellet, åpent til midnatt, her får du tak i det meste.

"wonderful staff & great location"
...my husband & I were staying at the hotel with our 8 month old daughter & our 100 pound dog so we were expecting chaos. Our stay ended up being very relaxing & enjoyable thanks to the amazing staff at the Colonnade. We stayed on the floor that allows pets & they brought us a huge dog bed & even offered to walk our pooch if we were going to leave w/out […] him for an extended period of time. For our daughter we were provided a crib & sheets & 2 rubber duckies for her bath. I did not see one person who worked at the Colonnade who did not have a smile on their face the entire time we were there. It was lovely & we will definitely return the next time we decide to visit Boston! Les mer

Room soundproofing was not good enough for our room this time. It had a door ( for connecting room ). Could hear snoring from next door. Loud talking of neighbors woke us up in the middle of the night. Glad it was the last night of the stay.

My husband and two friends of mine stayed at the Colonnade Hotel on St. Patty's day - we had a great time!!! We started at the bar/restaurant at the Colonnade because our room was not ready. We had some cheese fondue and green beer! The fondue was delicious! They made a special sandwich that was not on the menu for my husband. We had a blast at the […] bar. Then we headed out for the night - the hotel is right in Back Bay - step outside and you have bars, restaurants, and stores at your fingertips. It is a beautiful area. And the Amtrak train is in walking distance so if you are from NYC - this is a great hotel choice! It is expensive but it is worth it if you are able to get a good price. Les mer

The Colonnade was wonderfully comfortable and convenient. Everyone from the porter to the front desk folks were kind and accommodating, and my room was large yet cozy. I wanted to be close to the MFA so the location was perfect, just a 15 minute walk from there. The shopping mall across the street is great and there are nice restaurants in the neighborhood. "Great hotel in a fantastic location"
This is a lovely hotel with the most fantastic comfy bed I have ever slept in. The room (512) was spacious with modern décor, even though it was above the drive into the car park, it was lovely and quiet, no traffic noise at all. We ate a Jo's Brassiere (the hotel restaurant) for breakfast which was delicious but never got chance to eat dinner there […] but the menu looked fab. We only really had one criticism which was that our room had a door linked to the next room which meant we could hear our next door neighbours, it wasnt too bad as we were fortunate to not be woken or kept up by the noise but it was a little frustrating. The location is perfect, just across the road from The Prudential Centre and the tail end of the Copley Shopping Mall. There are restaurants, literally just across the road (The Cheesecake Factory being our favourite) and a Starbucks/Dunkin Donuts...perfect for a breakfast on the go. The Tourist Bus stops just outside the Hotel and the Duck Tours are only a few hundred yards up the road. Great hotel and if we ever go back to Boston we would definitely stay here again. Les mer
I would recommend the hotel with reservation. Clean and conveniently located for the meeting I was attending. However, it was loud with thin walls. I woke from every neighboring room's wake up call and any one in the corridor. Plus, the heat was on despite warm weather. It was explained that the building was old and only one system at a time could be […] operational. In this case, heat. Did not find staff helpful when trying to book a tour from the Hotel. Looked for additional information and they did not provide it.
Excellent location to all amenities (subway, shopping, restaurants, tours). Room was very clean, nice large window overlooking streetscape (some may find a bit noisy). A fridge would have been a nice asset. All in all was a good choice for first time visit to Boston.

This hotel is in a great location. The hotel is beside the Prudential Centre and T station on the green line. Room very clean and spacious with a King size bed which was very comfortable. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Would stay there again if visiting Boston.

This hotel is in a good location. The room was of good size and the bed was comfortable. It had a desk and freestanding lamps for working here. It also had it own iron and iron board along with a room safe. Any of the staff I had dealings with were very good. I would stay in this hotel again. It is across the road from the Prudential T Station on the […] green line - note one of four green lines. Get one of the $15 link weekly tickets for the T (metro) and buses. "Affordable Luxury"
This hotel seemed first rate in many respects. It was not exactly in the historical/bay attraction area that was our intention, but definitely on the tour route which made for good access to Boston in general. The staff was super and didn't blink or hesitate when asked for special assistance.

Very good Hotel in a reasonable location. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was as good as we were led to believe. Minor quibbles related to the slightly dated decor and the fact that the much lauded roof top pool was closed. Apparently this closes from Labour Day onwards until the Spring. First time in Boston! Trolley picks up right outside door. Husband and I had a wonderful time. Shopping one block up the street, Prudential Bldg. right across the street with great view! Had a great time in a beautiful city. The beds were to die for! Looked forward to jumping in after a long day touring. All personnel very friendly from doorman, bellman, […] reception, everyone! One word - Fabulous! Was concerned that we would get stuck into some tiny room as a result of "online" booking but to the contrary! Room was wonderful - the staff is so friendly and helpful - great exercise room and roof top pool. Will definitely return again!

good location. Parking a little inconvienent
"small rooms and not a 4 star hotel"
The room was extremely small and we paid for a deluxe room. I'm not sure what could have been the difference between the deluxe and a regular room. We were located in the very back of the hotel around a corner with a closet for a bathroom. In addition, we had to wait for this room to be ready even though it was just 30 minutes prior to stated check […] in time. It seemed like we were put in a more run down room because of booking through hotels.com. The beds were really small and were very hard. I've had more comfortable beds and larger rooms in Europe if you can imagine that. The door knob to the bathroom was loose, the toilet didn't flush, the tub didn't drain, and the room was extremely dark due to poor lighting as well as the window looking out on the adjacent building. The maid was suppose to change the sheets every three days but, only changed them once in an eight day visit. The furniture in the lobby was dirty and needed cleaning. It definitely is not a 4 star hotel and I've stayed in 3 star hotels which are cleaner and include breakfast. I liked the area and it was convenient to the subway, shopping, restaurants, etc. Plus, all of the tours (i.e. duck tour, hop on/off buses) stopped nearby. In addition, there is a grocery store only a block away which came in handy. Overall, an okay place to stay due to location but, definitely overpriced compared to some of the other places to stay nearby. Les mer

Most helpful concierge, bellman and front desk EVER when our car broke down and we had multiple unexpected problems. Made wonderfully thoughtful and helpful accommodations and made an otherwise unpleasant problem much easier to deal with.
Air Conditioner was loud and we had to shut it off so we could sleep. that was our only concern. we thought of calling the front desk but were to tired to wait for maintenance or to be moved to another room. thought of the benefit we may have received like a courtesy, mentioned it the next morning when checking out as we were asked, but no courtesy was […] extended. Room not ready at 3pm. Sent us up to the Roof Pool to wait. They could have sprung for the iced tea. And since I didn't have a room yet, I could not charge it.. The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated in a contemporary style.Breakfast better than my normal expectation for hotel food.

The Colonnade Hotel was modern, clean, and in a great location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was not a huge fan of the bathroom doors, but the roof top pool is very nice. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others visiting Boston.

"Very poor sleeping conditions"
Wait until you hear and feel EVERY door on your floor closing throughout the night. We were constantly startled throughout the night and morning by anyone closing their door. Even rooms ten away from yours rattle your walks when they close their room door. Do not stay here, terrible sleeping conditions, trust me'.

Very friendly service staff. Excellent location, close to shopping and restaurants. Very comfortable beds and good in room facilities. Hard to fault the hotel and we would certainly consider staying there again.
