Aqua Palms Waikiki - Honolulu

Helt nydelig hotell rett over gata fra Hilton og waikiki beach. Bra service og billig pc internett tilgang i lobbyen. Veldig greit å bestille utflukter rett fra hotellet! Waikiki trolley stopper rett på utsiden av døra. Bra leiebil firma rett over gata, ellers er det ikke noe problem å få tak i taxi. Shopping center 5-10 min unna og mange koselige restauranter […] og gater med Hawaii-underholdning! Siden det er 5-10 min til de fleste barer/utesteder er det rolig om kvelden. Anbefales sterkt til alle aldersgrupper! Kommer definitivt tilbake hit. Les mer

I really enjoyed The Aqua Palms Hotel! Set a little off the beach and a little farther away from the beach, you get great service and a comfortable room for less than the other nearby hotels. Fridge, microwave, and coffee in room. Coffee and ice cold water also available in the comfortable lobby. At the welcome party with live music on Thursday night, […] we enjoyed free drinks and snacks. Maid service was invisible, which I enjoyed. No one knocking on the door every day wanting to make up the room on their schedule, they just waited until we left and when we returned, everything was done. My only complaint was that the pillows were a little too thick for me. I would recommend this hotel to all of my friends! Les mer

very noisy hotel in waikiki, road work from 8 pm to 6 am in the morning, complained with hotel, with hotels.com nobody cared bad experience not to be recommended

This hotel does not have beachfront access but it is only a short walk away. Clean rooms and quiet.

I was in Honolulu for a conference and chose the Aqua Palm Resort this time around. Am I glad I did. It was small, cosy and functional. Served my needs.

WE had 8 hours between our flights so we booked this hotel to have somewhere to take a shower and relax. It is old, ugly, smelly with broken furniture. Very small room.

The hotel is in the perfect location just across the street from Hilton complex and less than a 5 minute stroll the the beach. The hotel staff are friendly and the room are in good condition. The manage reception was a huge plus!!

Have no complaints about this hotel. The room was clean, quiet, and larger than I expected with a small balcony, table and chairs, big screen TV, comfy bed, microwave and refrigerator, coffee, ironing board, hair dryer. Staff was friendly and helpful, recommend the 24 hour coffe shop on the corner bur forget about IHOP - the food was terrible, first […] morning greasy scrambled dry eggs with soffy pancakes, second morning (how can you ruin oatmeal?) oatmeal was served half-cooked floating in luke warm water, coffee was awful. Hotel is walking distance to Ala Moana shopping center, longer walk to Diamond Head along the beach. Very enjoyable stay. Les mer

It is just about 10 minutes walk to Ala Moana Shopping Center. There are a lot of good restaurants and fashion stores in walking distance.

Very comfortable room although decor a little outdated and faces onto a busy street which was quite noisy. Convenient location.

We enjoyed staying at Aqua Palms. The hotel was well maintained, staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location and a good value. We'll definitely stay there again!

We had booked a room at this hotel for 5 nights, but switched after one night. The patio door was broken and we couldn't close it properly when we got to the room and the air condtioning was not working. We called down to maintenance and they sent someone up who fixed the door, although the air conditioning still did not work. The maintenance man said […] the fan was blowing, so the AC must be working and told us to wait a few hours for the room to cool down. During the night the room became even hotter and we called down to maintenance again and they sent up the night security person who put his hand on the grate and said the fan is blowing. Told him that it wasn't blowing cold air and he suggested we change into shorts. The next morning we checked out and went to another hotel with working AC. Another item this hotel needs to address is the condition of their comforters....they are old and getting threadbare. We had stayed at this hotel a few years ago and it was great, but it appears to be going downhill since.. Can't say I would reccomend staying here if having a working AC system is of value to you. Clean room, convenient location, great service.

It is a typical hotel one block from beach in Wikiki. Location is quite good next to Hilton Village.

The Aloha here is the BEST! Unfortunately, our entire trip was not here and we transferred across the street to the Hilton Hawaiian Village after our first two nights because the company the were traveling with was picking up the tab there. Next time we would stay here our entire trip! Hilton charges for internet access and doesn't have free internet […] anywhere on their grounds. However, Aqua Palms has free internet everywhere with a hook up in the rooms. Also, the manager's happy hour on Thursday's was very fun and a nice touch of Aloha!! Les mer

Rooms were clean and comfortable.

The main quality of Aqua Palms is its location. Minutes from the beach and all main activities in Waikiki. The rooms are large but not luxerious. The staff is friendly and accomodating Good value for your money.

The Aqua Palms & Spa is a pretty good hotel. The location is near the Waikiki beach, just face to the Hilton hotel, and the price is fairly low.

2nd time in Hawaii but 1st time at the Aqua Palms. Perfect location 2 beach and shopping.. Would recommend 2 othres 4 sure...

We stayed at the Aqua palms for 6 nights and have only good things to say. The location is pretty much spot on. It is close to shoppingmals, the city centre and the beach. If you go through the hilton resort cross the street, you will come straight out on a beautifull beach. I personally think this is the nicest stretch on the wakiki beach. The room […] we had(11 floor facing the hilton) was spaceious and comfortable. The furniture was modern and the view perfect. The bathroom was a bit small, but noe big problem. It was tidy and clen. The bed is a bit hard, but no big problem. The ac worked great, and keept the room cool and comfortable. There is cable for Internett, but did not use this. There is not wireless in the rooms, but it is in the lobby. If there is anything at all to point out, it is that the noise from the street can be quite enoying if you are a light sleeper. Les mer

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Appreciate the hotel having complimentary coffee, apples and water in the hotel lobby. LAN was provided for easy log on to internet in the room. The hotel is near to Ala Moana Center and Waikiki.

I stayed here for 4 nights. Quite a good budget option in a decent location but if I ever go to that island of Hawaii again I might try to stay closer to the beach. However, this hotel was fine as a place to sleep and was pretty convenient. The beach and main strip were just a short walk away, and the big shopping mall was not far in the other direction. […] Hotel service was good and there is an activity desk in the lobby for booking tours etc. The room was comfortable enough but nothing special. If I stayed here again (not sure if I would but then again I might) I would make sure I had a room with a balcony. I had a lovely view but a balcony would have allowed me to enjoy it more. The big bonus of this hotel for me was the free internet in rooms and free wifi in the lobby. I didn't bother with the free breakfast as it is served in the neighbouring iHop restaurant. I went there once and paid for a breakfast meal (pancakes and a 'gourmet' coffee) and it was undoubtedly the worst food I have ever had. Even thugh I was ravenously hungry I couldn't eat more than a few bites/take more than a couple of sips. However there are plenty of breakfast options in the area. All in all it was not a bad place to stay, and I would recommend it for people who are looking for primarily a place to sleep and keep their stuff secure while going to the beach/sightseeing/shopping. Incredible resort. Housekeeping/massage service was very satisfying. Fitness room is state of the art. The pool is climate controlled and great for a midnight skinny dip. Fantastic firework show right across the street.. Lots of entertaining street performers and other readily available services within short distances of the hotel. Relaxed atmosphere […] that makes the guest feel relaxed and free to take advantage of all that Waikiki has to offer. I would highly recommend this hotel to any single person or couples that wish to sow their oats, let their hair down, and explore new experiences. The only negative thing I would have to say is that the IHOP is really lousy and way over priced. There are several other choices in the immediate area for dining including the Hilton which is very reasonably priced and located right on the beach. There is also another restaurant that is on top of a building and makes really good grilled cheese sandwiches. If you go to most places in Waikiki and tell them that's your birthday you will eat for free(they might ask for ID if you say both you and your parterner have the same birthday, so you might want to walk in and sit at seperate tables. Nearby just about everything we wanted to see.

We are from the outer islands and loved the Aqua Palms and Spa. The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. Our room was so clean, comfortable and we enjoyed our stay thanks to this hotel. I would recommend this to our friends needing a place to stay on Oahu. Thanks hotel.com for including this in our choices for we pick this one as our number […] one for the inexpensive rate without sacrificing comfort, cleanliness and the Aloha spirit from the staff. Originally booked a partial ocean view room but when we arrived there were none of these available (yet had payed for one). We were offered some breakfast vouchers in lieu of this but found this a fairly pathetic compromise as they were for the restaurant attached to the hotel which is dreadful. We ate there once and never went back. So, check carefully […] which room you pay for and which you actually get allocated as you might get ripped off like we did. It is a basic hotel, clean and ok apart from this but not really in the heart of the action. Do not expect great service here either. Les mer

Room was relatively small..... but we were there only for couple of days and stayed outside most of the time so did not matter much.....

This hotel was pretty close to everything. Not on the beach but right next to the IHOP. It needs a little painting in the hallways. Friendly staff. $20 a day for parking for parking your car. If you are not spending much time in hotel it is a nice place to stay. Great for price.

I am a resident of the Big Island and I travel to Honolulu often for business. I was very pleased with the combination of location (easy walk to Ala Moana Center), price, and quality at this hotel. I would stay there again.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were super friendly. My room was comfortable and had everything I needed. The only downside was there was only wired internet in the room - no free wireless. The concierge was bubbly and full of good ideas for guests. The hotel was a short walk to the marina and the beach and on the main bus route.

The rooms were small and the floors were uneven as well as the doors. Location was good.

Location is excellent, close to Kawiki beach, shopping and restaurants. The price is very good considering the location. Bus- and trolley stop just across the street. It is a simple hotel but good value for money.

Aqua Palms Hotel and Spa is in the heart of everywhere we wanted to be. Short walk to beach, Ala Moana mall. Hotel was clean and staff friendly. I-Hop next door, and another restaurant next to that with others across the street. Only down side in our opinion was the tight space in parking garage. A smart value hotel on Waikiki. Location is great and the hotel is convenient to everthing along the beach. Good value for the buck.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. It had everything I needed with great service and in a great location. It's hard to find a low costing hotel that is actually clean, with good amenities and great service and that's exactly what I found with this hotel. It's in a great location and I will definitely stay here again.

This is a good budget hotel, clean smoke free and comfortable. The only reason why we would not stay again was because of the ongoing road construction out front. There is not a inhouse bar or restaurant so you need to leave the hotel. location is a bit of a walk from Waikiki entertainment area.

Stayed mid-October. Staff were always pleasant, allowed me to check in reasonably early (appreciated after a long flight) and did everything asked with a smile on their face. Definitely staying there next time through
