Residence Inn By Marriott Santa Clarita Valencia - Stevenson Ranch

I stopped by on the way to San Diego and it was ideal location to stop over for the night. It was a typical residence inn, with spacious rooms and attached kitchen, nice LCD TVs (need to mention - some nicer hotels still have old CRTs in their non-vip rooms). Breakfast starts a little too late (7am) considering I had to leave early in morning, so I […] had to miss it. I reserved a room for 3 adults and one 11 year old child and we were given one bedroom (queen size) and sofabed. I have reqyested a two bed at least but unfortunately we did not get it so we all slept uncomfortably !

I liked this hotel. It was clean, roomy, and centrally located. The guy at the desk at night was a little "too cool for school" but the girl in the daytime was very nice and helpful. The FREE breakfast was quite handy. No need to search out (or spend more money) on a restaurant. I'd stay there again.

Breakfast service has friendly, hard-working people. Desk clerks are friendly. But if you need something that's not already in the room, forget it. There's no ceiling fan and they have none to lend, even when the air flow is nearly stagnant. Lip service to being accommodating, but not much substance.

My husband and I were driving from Phoenix to Napa Valley and stopped to spend the night at this hotel. I've always had a good experience with Residence Inn, and again my experience was good. Negatives - The beds are not comfortable and sheets and towels are clearly old. Out shower never turned quite off so the drip we heard frequently and all night. […] The staff doesn't hesitate to remove breakfast promptly at 10am even though you're in the middle of grabbing food. I grabbed a bowl of ceral and the staff took the milk and said I was too late. Positives - Rooms are a decent size, clean, mostly in working order, breakfast in the morning seemed like it would have been good. If you miss breakfast there's an IHOP and Denny's with in less than 30 yards. It's pet friendly, kid friendly, and security is around to protect vehicles and grounds overnight although it's in a safe area. I would stay again, but show up earlier for breakfast. Les mer

Family had a great experience. Separate rooms and suites were very comfortable. The breakfast buffet staff excellent, a great value and convenient. Would highly recommend.

We needed a place to stay on our way to Palm Springs that was clean and could accommodate our large family. This was perfect! Great free breakfast too!

was a nice clean place-would recommend. Rates are Hi, but not when you use Hotels.com

bed was bad very poor for a this hotel stayed in others and was happy.... this one needs up grading.... lumpy bed is not good.... next the maid made the bed but failed to vaccumm the floor.... had stuff that dropped on it ... food that was still there after cleaning.... bathroom had used shampoo and lotion... tacky at best.... rate it a 1 star
