From the guy taking my reservations to the staff at the hotel everything worked out great. And the people were great! Room was clean and tidy, even though it looked like things were far away on a map, it really was only a 15 minite drive to the attractions. Where other places were charging to park, free parking was a nice feature. The breakfast was […] good with lots of fresh food. It was so good we stayed an extra night. We loved our stay we actuallly ended up there a day early and they had no problems in checking us in early I was there with my husband 3 teenage kids and my pug dog. The employees were friendly and helpful and the free breakfast was outstanding. The rooms were so clean and super comfy beds. we plan I staying there again next for sure loved it. Nice […] area very convienent to the malls and places to eat. Can't say enough of how nice the staff was. I would recommend this hotel to everybody. also when I called Hotel.com to make this reservation they were very informative and super friendly and made sure all my requests were met. "Solid hotel, but a bit of a run-down experience."
Overall my stay at La Quinta (my second stay at the Bellevue/Kirkland area) was good. The front desk employees were extremely friendly and accommodating. I really value the high quality & free internet, good breakfast, and the fridge & microwave are great as well. I also utilized the 24 hour fitness center, which is great as I'm always very busy and […] can't exercise till late at night. This particular stay was a bit less positive however. The hallway and my room were both somewhat dank and otherwise not fresh smelling. In my bathroom, the fan seemed to be broken and the shower curtain rod was loose on both ends, causing the shower curtain to sag towards the middle and water to deflect to the floor. Also, the phone didn't work during the last day - a big problem as I needed to dial into a conference call in the morning. Lastly, on the morning of check-out, the cleaner knocked on my door fairly early (around 8:20am) to see when I was vacating the room. I was rushing to get ready and not fully dressed at the time, so needless to say it was quite a distraction. It wasn't enough to prevent me from staying at a La Quinta, but it certainly was discouraging to see the numerous negative aspects creeping up. I travel to Redmond on around an annual basis and appreciate the amenities, so I hope this was just an aberration. Les mer

"On the Slide"
I have stayed in many La Quinta Hotels and have found them to be above average in most ways. This one is an older building with a few minor issues such as our bathtub drain - that didn't. Overall, the price was high for what I got.

"didn't sleep like a rock, we slept on a rock"
When we got there we waited about eight minutes to check in. The guy was really nice and apologetic and said he had had a emergency in a room it seemed to involve some plumbing issues? Once he was there he checked us in fast. The beds were as hard as a rock as were the pillows. The room was nice and large and fairly clean it was quiet atleat! The hotel […] was not to far off the freeway but not very near services you could use, it was more a industrial area. Since we only stayed one night and left early in the morning it was okay for the price. The breakfast was great, well serviced and a lot of choices of things to eat. Location was perfect for trip purpose, but the noise from the freeway made it had to get to sleep. Will request a room on the other side of the hall next time.
"No-frills but decent price for the area"
A step above a Super 8. They will provide what you need, but you have to ask for anything above the bare minimum. There is an exercise room, with a treadmill, two bikes and a weight machine. The continental breakfast is minimal but sufficient.

A quiet close to area highway. The staff were so friendly. Would reommend a car if staying for moe than a night as there are not a lot to do in the area

"Worked for me"
I stayed here, because I went to an event at Marymoor park and didn't want to drive the two hours home. I got to the hotel late, hotel staff were all really professional. The room was average but fine for a nights sleep. The breakfast was the usual fare but enough. It seems it was mostly business men. I would stay again for the same reason.

"Poor"
The hotel staff was not very friendly, The parking lot was not plowed from snow and was dangerous. The room given to me was a handical room. There was no heat in the room and when I brought this to the hotel staff they did not believe me and it took two hours to get another room.

Easy to find, nice workout room, nice breakfast over all... great place close to where we needed to be. Weather just cut our vacation short, would love to stay there again.

Second time within a year staying at this place ... still no WIFI in rooms (only wired); wireless in lobby. This time around, the beds were not comfortable, too soft. The hotel does not seem to know that it's the fall and temperature really dipped ... the blanket was really light and was insufficient during the night. Had to crank up the heat in the […] middle of the night ... and it was loud. Bad experience this time around, but would stay again if only a 1 nighter. Les mer
"A bit smokey..."
We were generally very happy with the location, quality, and price of this hotel. However, I did request a non-smoking room. I am very sensitive to smoke and we have a small child. We arrived very late and when I asked to confirm that the room was non-smoking he said yes, but it was close to the smoking section. It was one of the two last rooms available […] and the other one was in the smoking section. When we got to the room I noticed it did not have a "non smoking" plaque like other non-smoking rooms do. I could smell a faint odor of cigarettes in the room. However, the bed and sheets did not smell at all, so it could have been worse. Perhaps the previous occupant smoked when they weren't supposed to and they tried to clean up as best they could. The breakfast looked pretty standard for a hotel, nothing fancy and we had to rush out, just stayed the one night. Les mer
"Nice Location"
This hotel is very conveniently located with rapid access to both the East Side or Seattle. the hotel is clean and the staff quite friendly. The dining area is nice and there are a couple restaurants or fast food within walking distance. Nice place to stay for the price!

"The Laquinta Bellevue/Kirkland"
The room was cheery and had lots of lights. The bathroom was not as comfy.The bowl of the toilet had a long crack in it. The corners of the floor in the bathroom need vaccuming. The edges of the floor/ walls need a better job of vaccuming .
"A fine stay"
This was a fine hotel. Seemed a little run down, but it was a good rate. Obviously better than a motel 6 or something like that, but seemed quite a bit below a courtyard by Marriott or something along those lines.

I was in Bellevue for business and was very satisfied with the hotel. Room was spacious, very clean, and had a microwave and refrigerator. Staff was very friendly. The breakfast was fine. I would definitely stay here again if I'm back in the area.

"Check on 520 Opening"
We like to stay at this La Quinta, because it is a good value compared to staying near UW. (Half the cost usually). However, on this stay, the 520 bridge to Kirkland was closed. Apparently, it closes periodically, so make sure the check the bridge closures before booking. I like the waffle bar - my weakness.
