Park International Hotel - London

This was my fourth time staying here and I'm still amazed at how each stay gets better. The staff was attentive and always pleasant. The facilities are super clean and cater to all your needs. Five minutes from the tube and all the food and drink spots. I am looking forward to my next stay. They do a fantastic job!!

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was lovely - the only drawback was that the room was miniscule like many London or NYC hotels. It was newly renovated and smelled brand new. The bathroom was particularly well done with beautiful marble tile. The breakfast was included and that was certainly convenient for a weary traveler (expect British breakfast […] food). I was quite impressed with this hotel, after winding up here unexpectedly due to an extended layover in London. I stayed in the most basic of rooms, the Twin Superior as I believe it was called, and was impressed. The room size was quite small by American standards, but had all the conveniences of a normal hotel room with flat-screen TV, fridge, wi-fi, […] etc. The bathroom was nice and sizable, the bed comfortable, the A/C worked well and the breakfast was good and filling. Additionally, the front desk staff was friendly and helpful; they even lent me an adapter for the length of my stay free of charge. Good and safe location in Kensington near Kensington Palace, Harrods and only a four minute walk to the Gloucester Lane subway stop. My only real gripe about the hotel is that sound of doors slamming seemed to carry on through all hours of the day and night. Oddly, the walls did not seem so thin, but for whatever reason, each time someone closed a door nearby, it was near deafening. This is not so much of a con though for me to knock off more than one point from its rating. Les mer

there was only one type of egg available in breakfast buffet...only disappointment

The Park hotel was very close to the gloucester road underground and to a number of supermarkets convenient for buying snacks, which the hotel was happy with. Hotel room was small but modern and clearly recently updated. Hotel cleanliness was excellent in our room and in the hotel common areas. Excellent, reasonably priced hotel. Newly renovated. Wonderful showers! Very clean. Single rooms very small by US standards--but you are in London, not the US!

I would highly recommend this hotel I was searching and searching for somewhere to stay on a recent visit to London with my mum. I only wanted to stop one night and read lots of reviews about different hotels and got disheartened by what they said. I then read reviews for Park International and it sounded fab so booked a twin room. We found it very […] easily and were very impressed. The room was new, clean and a good size. The bathroom was lovely and also clean. Breakfast was a highlight; it was my birthday that day so I celebrated with cereal, then bacon and beans on toast, then yoghurt with fruit followed by a muffin....all included in the price. PArk International is located at an excellent location. It is located a block to the Gloucester station which happens to be the beginning of the Big Bus tour which will give us a very good overview of London attractions. Being at the start of the big bus tour, we are able to secure the best top level seats which give us the best view of london city. […] Park international is also a five minutes walk to the Natural Museum and Art Museum. It is also a ten minutes walk to Harrods! I was not aware of the excellent location but I chosen this hotel based on Hotel.com reviews. As for the hotel itself, everything is great but take note that it is cheaper to book online. Everything are new and clean and the new carpet probably give it a 'new' smell which may irritate someone sensitive to it. After reading the reviews for the Park International on hotels.com, I have to admit that I didn't know how much I would like the place. The price was right however, so we risked it. What a surprise it was when we got there to see that the hotel had changed ownership and it was now renovated! The hotel smelt new, the rooms were brand new, with clean […] fancy bathrooms, comfortable beds, flat screen TVs and new air conditioning system. We had bought a king suite, which was all the way in the back of the hotel where they were still doing some work outside of our window. There was no noise however. The breakfast was also included, which I don't think has been updated on the hotels.com review. Hot and cold English breakfast. There is also a nice bar and Thai restaurant at the hotel, which has a pre fixed menu for 15 pounds for hotel guests. So, for a nice new hotel, two blocks from the Picadilly line and surrounded by pubs and everything else that Kensignton has to offer, the price for this hotel is definitely right! Les mer

While still under some renovation in certain parts of the hotel, the reception area, breakfast area, and room we stayed in were beautifully renovated and very clean. The complimentary breakfast was awesome. Free internet service had a very strong signal in our room. 18 May 2011 The hotel is undergoing a major renovation.Very nice so far. Our room had not been renovated. It was fine, but wery small.The breakfast room is quite large, very attractive and served an excellent breakfast. Handy location for Glouster Rd Underground station. We have stayed there before.

Great location close to all major museums. Hotel is about 4 buildings joined up, and it feels like it, with long twisting corridors. Single rooms are tiny. I viewed two bedrooms both overlooking a lift shaft. The hotel was having extensive building works completed when I visited. This was the first and only horrible hotel experience I have had. The hotel was clearly a smoking hotel until recently. We confirmed twice that our room would be non-smoking and they said it was. The smoke stench in the room was so thick you literally had trouble breathing. The smell is in the carpet, in the wallpaper, in the drapes (with burn holes […] to match), and even in the mattress. The "cottage rooms" are very badly outdated. The hotel was also undergoing construction. The sign posted by the general manager said they try to keep guests as far from the construction as possible. We opened our drapes to find scaffolding, boxes and a man standing there. As such, we could not open the windows to air out the room. We literally could not have been any closer the construction. And they did not stick to the posted consturction hours, working well into the early evening. Most of the staff was lovely except for the receptionist who could not find our reservation and treated us like third-class ciitizens. This hotel is so miserable that my husband and I walked out and went next door to another hotel. This hotel cannot and should not in any way claim to be smoke-free or decent. It is simply a dirty, nasty pit. The only cheery part of the hotel is the breakfast room in the basement. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Les mer

It's always best to start with the positive so - this hotel is in a great location to access the tube, several museums and other areas of London. The tube closest to us had 3 lines. There is a post office right by the tube station and there were 2 supermarkets 1 block away from the hotel. We got free b'fast with our reservation and it was a very good […] spread and well attended to. Now for the bad part - the hotel is currently under major renovation so that's the first bad thing. A scaffolding went up right outside our window - luckily it was the last night of our stay - otherwise, we would have had men standing outside our window banging away at 8:00AM. A portion of the hotel was blocked off and much banging and drilling would begin every morning at 8:00AM. Admittedly, we were far enough from the area to not hear it in our room, but it would definitely have been a problem once the work commenced outside our window. We booked a king room but when we arrived, were given a double - tiny, w/ a shower half the size of a London telephone booth - and told we wouldn't get a king till the next evening. Very inconvenient as we wanted to unpack and settle in. A meager compensation was given only after I asked for it - a free drink for each of us in the adjacent restaurant/bar. The king room was a fairly good size room but there was a constant smell of mildew and dampness, even w/ the window open and AC on (mind you, this was in Feb). The bathroom was decent but lacked in hooks and bars, which one needs for hanging clothes and towels. There was a tub but only a fabric curtain - no liner - and during a shower, the curtain would billow in and stick to you - not pleasant. We were told there was free wi-fi in the lobby and I was able to access it the first evening, but not again after that. When I asked the front desk, no one knew how to access it for me. The location was good for getting around London but the immediate neighborhood was lacking in good restaurants. All in all, I did Les mer

This hotel is undergoing renovation now, and it will be very impressive when finished. The lobby is gorgeous, all tile and marble and beautiful furniture. The staff were all very friendly. We ate in the hotel restaurant on our last night and the food was lovely and very good value for money. I will definitely stay in the Park again and would recommend […] it without hesitation. nice and clean hotel with good service, close to transportation, very good breakfast, room is kind of small though.

Stayed for 1 night to make a full day at the natural history museum as a family of 4. Checked in the day before. Room was ready for us no issue very attentive staff. This Hotel was a great find, it it undergoing a refurb, so it is very tired and the rooms at the front were incredibly hot & noisy as the A/C was very poor, we had topen the windows to the very busy road. However!. The staff were lovely, the breakfast superb, the rooms clean and beds comfy. When the refurb is completed we think this will be a fab place […] to get to all london hot spots for a tourist, or w/e visitor. Refurb means hotel very shabby just now, but we were not disturbed at all ,we were there for Thur Fri & Sat. Masses of quality restraunts on front road, and underground really close. Our stay was fine. Staff was very helpful (specially at the breakfast). The breakfast buffet was huge (quantity, variety...) and everything we ate was tasteful. The room was clean. Perfect stay for a week end. Quality/price was perfect (specially for a city like London).

Value for money is ok. style of the room was outdated and I question the overall cleanliness of this property. on the other hand, breakfast buffet was huge and delicious. hotel location is great.

Parked at nearby Holiday inn car park, which was very secure if not very cheap. £27.00 FOR 24 HOURS. Tube station was very close making getting into central london easy. Big museums such as the Science and the History were within walking distance.Hotel being refurbished at present which may have been why our room rate was quite cheap.looks like it will […] be nice when done.breakfast was better than we expected as there was a good choice even though the cooked food was not the best.All the staff seemed very pleasent throuhout our stay.I would stay there again as long as the room rates were of similar price in future. Small room but comfortable and clean, great last-minute deals

I arrived at the hotel with my room prepaid. Since it was before check-in time, I stored my luggage with the concierge and informed the front desk I'd be back in the evening to move into my room. When I returned, I was informed that the only single room still available was in the basement. I went down there and found a stuffy, noisy little closet of […] a space with an enormous dead cockroach on the bathroom floor. It took a lot of arguing on my part to get the management to move me into a double room until a better single became available. The room I later got was okay...nothing special, but certainly acceptable. Hotel staff was not particularly helpful or friendly. I would recommend this hotel mainly for its convenient location and relatively moderate price. Les mer

This was a great hotel for a great price. It was very close to the tube and many places to eat.

Var uppskattningsvis ca 14-15 grader i mitt rumt och jag och kunde varken få ett annat rum eller sova på hela natten...

Hotellet ligger ca. 5 min. gang fra undergrundsbanen og der er masser af spisesteder lige i nærheden. Ca. 10-15 min. gang til National History Museum, hvor der er gratis adgang og masser at kigge på. 3-4 timer kan nemt gå. Selve hotellet er simpelt hen super til pengene, personalet er meget servicemindede og utrolig opmærksomme, vi skulle bare strække […] halsen og kigge os lidt forvirret rundt, så spurgte de straks om vi behøvede hjælp. Fin morgenmad med flot udvalg, både bacon og æg og traditionel morgenmad. Vi spiste på hotellet en aften og maden var tip top. Hyggelig bar med fint udvalg og en chance for at sludre lidt med bartenderen. Der var styr på alting fra vi kom til vi rejste så det er bestemt vores førstevalg til næste London tur Les mer

Bodde på Park International en knapp vecka med familjen. Rummen är små men ändamålsenliga. Hotellet i sig något över medel. Fräscht och rent. Lite problem med wifi vår vecka men i övrigt bra. Restaurangen suverän och frukosten helt OK. Läget och priset måste absolut hamna på pluskontot. 3 min från Glouchester Rd T-banestation. Sparat det bästa till […] sist: Personalen. Alltid hjälpsam och på tå för att bistå. Speciellt Gintare i restaurangen och Laura i receptionen visade högsta serviceklass. Har bott på många hotell världen över men detta var utöver det vanliga. Här bor man gärna igen. Les mer

Riktigt fräscht hotell nära till Gloucester Road t-banestation (ca 200 meter). Kabel-tv med många kanaler, stora badrum med bra vattentryck och varmt vatten. Bra frukost. Rekommenderas!

Erittäin ystävällistä henkilökuntaa ja avuliaita kaiken suhteen. Hotelli sijaitsi hyvällä paikalla, ei pitkä matka metroon. Siisti ensivaikutelma ja kaunis vastaanottoaula. Huoneet olivat raikkaat ja puhtaat. Aamiainen oli suhteellisen monipulinen.

7박8일 트리플룸을 사용했습니다. 싱글침대1개와 퀸사이즈침대1개가 있었구요. 매우 깨끗했습니다. 무엇보다 직원들이 너무 친절했고 조식도 좋았습니다. 조식은 햄소시지베이컨류, 과일, 빵 정도로 간단하지만 깔끔했구요. 교통이 편리해서 거의 갈아타지 않고 지하철을 타고 갈 수 있어서 편리합니다. 공항, 패딩턴기차역 등 주요 관광지가 한번에 정말 편하고, 지하철 바로 주변에 음식점들과 슈퍼가 있어서 이 역시 매우 편리합니다. 강추합니다.

Hotelli sijaitsee lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä metroasemalta, jonne myös pääsi kätevästi ilman vaihtoja Heathrow'n kentältä. Sijainti siis loistava, hotelli todella siisti, aamiainen hyvä ja ennenkaikkea hyvät sängyt. En keksi mitään negatiivista sanottavaa :) Aion varata huoneen samaisesta hotellista myös seuraavalla Lontoon matkallani.

We hebben heel wat hotels gezien,maar de service van de uitsluitend internationale staff was uitmuntend! Het hotel was keurig, de service excellent en de ligging erg centraal! Vlak bij de metro en 10min lopen naar Harrods. Wij hebben een geweldig midweekje Londen gehad!

Ett hotell med bra läge nära t-bana. Trevlig personal, fräscha rum och en helt ok frukostbuffé. Vi fick rum på våning fem och det var ett litet rum som blev ruskigt varmt om natten, trots att vi var där i november. Vågar knappt tänka på hur det är mitt i sommaren. Ganska mycket högljudd trafik utanför fönstret, framförallt när man måste ha det öppet. […] Luftkonditioneringen funkade inget vidare, men när vi tag ur nyckelkortet ur hållaren och bröt strömmen blev det bra sprutt på luftkonditioneringen. Hotellet ligger i det "pæne" London, tæt på mange seværdigheder. Personalet var serviceminded og morgenmaden rigtig god. Vi boede her 3 nætter. Vi vil bruge hotellet igen, næste gang vi tager til London.
