Helt greit hotell med litt harde senger. men ellers fungerte det fint. savnet noe som kunne holde drike kaldt på rommet. nydelig utsikt fra frokostrommet!!

Great hotel... easy access to underground.... great breakfast and everyone was a HUGE help. Will stay there again!!

Small room but comfortable and clean, great last-minute deals

I arrived at the hotel with my room prepaid. Since it was before check-in time, I stored my luggage with the concierge and informed the front desk I'd be back in the evening to move into my room. When I returned, I was informed that the only single room still available was in the basement. I went down there and found a stuffy, noisy little closet of a space with an enormous dead cockroach on the bathroom floor. It took a lot of arguing on my part to get the management to move me into a double room until a better single became available. The room I later got was okay...nothing special, but certainly acceptable. Hotel staff was not particularly helpful or friendly. I would recommend this hotel mainly for its convenient location and relatively moderate price.

This was a great hotel for a great price. It was very close to the tube and many places to eat.

The hotel was in a great area close to the subway but the beds were uncomfortable. We also had a fire alarm go off at midnight one of the nights and there was no explanation as to what happened.

my family and i stayed here for three nights,we found the staff extremely nice and helpfull.The rooms were a little dated but very clean and warm,we would definitly stay here again.

We have stayed here several times before and were happy with the room but not breakfast. This time we booked without breakfast. We were given a basement room which was clean and spacious enough. However, the washbasin could not be used as the plug was stuck down and the radiators would not work, and the room was very cold. We informed the person at the desk of these issues and were told they would be sorted while we were out. We returned at 1am to find that nothing had been done. We were then offered another room which we accepted and had to pack up and move at 1.30am. This room also had no working heating and we had to put up with a double bed when we had booked a twin. However, we did not have the strength to move again and there was no other room available. We spent a very cold night! We won't be returning.

The staffs are helpful and the hotel room condition is good and clean. Only that if they could provide free wi-fi service will be perfect for nowadays travellers.

The reception staff are quite helpful and receptive. The family room is quite sufficient for four and well presented, but the breakfast facility is small and struggles with a crowd.

The room was very basic, which was fine, but the beds were not comfortable, the TV was poor, the room was stale and smoke-stained, the shower leaked over the bathroom floor and the service was cold. I wouldn't stay here again since there are cheaper, nicer options - only the location stood in its favour.

I find this to be a nice hotel in a good area with Kensington in one direction and Earls Court in the other. I have been using this hotel for the past few years as, it is near the Royal Albert Hall where I attend a show by the Cirque Du Soliel. I have always found the staff to be polite and friendly, even when I have arrived back at the hotel about three or four in the morning after I have met up with friends and gone clubbing. Through my many stays in the area, I have come across a few local gems of unusual interest. Not to far away you have Brompton cemetery with its old gravestones, cryptes and squirrels that are so used to human contact, they will eat food from right out of your hand. At the other end of the cemetery, you have Chelsea Football Stadium. Further along Cromwell Rd is a plaque on a house in which Alfred Hitchcock lived in. On the garden wall of the library in Old Brompton Rd is a plaque telling you that this is where the house of Beartrice Potter once stood.

For the price paid, this hotel exceeded what we received in value. Located approx 2 blocks from the Gloucester Road tube station, the rooms, albeit small, were clean, well appointed and most importantly, QUIET. The hotel was full during our stay and we rarely heard anyone. The staff was very polite and helpful when asked. We will stay again!

I stayed at this property just once and would only recommend for people who are on the go and don't care about luxuries. The building is old, the fridge worked fine (empty), the sink was old and cracked, a little disgusting, the corners were not very clean as you could see dust in corners (not well vacuumed) the towels were sand paperish and there was plenty shampoo and soap bars (no conditioner or cream if you are used to it, bring your own. The location was great, 2 blocks from the Picadilly line and definitely worth over taking a cab, it only cost $4.00 pounds over $60 to $70 pounds for a cab(mind you that the dollar is worth 1/2 of a pound). The staff upon arrival were not friendly or knowledgeable, I had made a reservation for a day and needed to extend to two days and the front desk did not know how to make a reservation had to wait for the next day. Fabio at the reception was very nice and friendly, knowledgeable. This is at most a 2 star hotel NOT 3 stars. Don't count on the bar or restaurant either, but there are tons of restaurants and shops across the street. I recommend to younger people that won't spend to many hours in the room.

Location is good, walking distance to subway station and 2 supermarkets. The hotel is old. TV and fridge didn't work at the first place(had to call the hotel service dept to fix). Not really room for 4 of us. The bathroom is small and worn out.

The hotel needs a little more updating. It was clean and the service was good. Although, they could have more variety for breakfast for the price. The need better coffee that is for sure. It was convenient, close to a Starbucks thank goodness, 2 block walk to the Tube. Definately outdated.

Older hotel, musty halls, impersonal staff. I thought it was just me, but I watched the front desk clerks treat everyone the same. ( like they were doing you a favor ). The taxi driver told me they have a high turn over. The bright spot of the hotel is the Concierge and the ideal location. Walking distance to tube (Gloucester ) and Museums, and a fantastic grocery store: Sainsbury’s. If you want to take advantage of the paid high speed internet, it's best to be on the 1st floor. If you are not expecting great customer service but want a decent priced room with a fantastic location, then this is your place.

Just don't go!

i found the hotel to be just fine. the staff was nice and my room was clean. i was in london during july so the air conditioning was key. the location is also very convenient to the tube and some museums.

The knock I saw on this hotel was the size of the room. I paid a few extra dollars for the King size and it was worth it. The subway is a half block away. You can walk to Kinsinton Park and the Palace. Great deal!

We were in three rooms over a five night period. The air conditioner did not work in the first room. We reported this on the morning following our first night. When we returned from being out all day, we were informed that the AC could not be repaired. We were offered a fan for the night and the option of moving to another room the following day. We accepted this offer and the hotel staff moved our luggage for us. Our second room was much nicer than the first. We moved to a third room for our last night because we had an additional person and required a larger room. The rooms were OK but needed some updating. The refrigerators in the rooms were a nice suprise.

We found the hotel to be clean and comfortable, but the staff were very indifferent to our request for assistance in making international calls, and bordered on being rude.

This hotel was rated 3-star, and I've been in enough 3-star hotels to confidently say this is NOT a 3-star hotel. I realize this is Europe and the rooms are smaller, but I've stayed in several other hotels in London and I've never been this disappointed. The room was extremely small, carpet was stained, TV did not work, mini-fridge was not cold enough, and wallpaper was peeling away in several places. It said the rooms were air conditioned, but mine barely worked at all and it was very hot in the room at night, even with the windows open. For the amount of money they charge, and the convenience of the area, it is not horrible if you are on a strict budget. Otherwise, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. Just don't expect a true 3-star hotel here.

I stayed at the hotel in May. The location is great and the room was clean. It was extremely small. I had an issue with the first room I checked into and they immediately made accomodations for another room which was slightly larger.

We really liked this cute little room - not a lot of space, but more space than some rooms I have seen in London! TV reception was not the greatest, but as we basically only slept there, it did not matter. Location is fantastic - about a block from the Tube and price was very reasonable. This will be the first place I look when I return to London.

Rooms were small but comfy. Staff could be a little friendlier. Hotel is convenient to Gloucester stop and Starbucks. Overall, a bit pricy.

This Hotel was in a great area, the staff was wonderful and helpful. I got a 1 person single and the room it's self was small but for one person it was fine I wasn't in the hotel enough to care. Tube station VERY close and only took 30 min. to take from Heathrow Airport, that saves money. Good restraunts in the area and a internet cafe right across the street. So all in all I was very happy with my stay and would stay again in a hartbeat! BUT do remember London Hotel rooms run smaller than in the US and that even goes for more expensive hotels! But who wants to stay in the room when you are in a city like London!?

The rooms are small, but after the first hour there, it doesn't matter. It is close to the Gloucester tube station, buses, restaurants, grocery stores and the internet cafe is right across the street. I think it is a bargain! I have stayed there at least 8 times, and each time I am more impressed with the money I am saving, and just what a good find it is!

Rooms a bit shabby and dated

We would stay at this hotel again, perhaps exploring the selection of a somewhat larger room. The hotel employees were very courtious and extremely helpful in providing advice about places of interest and travel information.

I've never seen such a tiny room! Almost had to turn sideways to walk through it. The shower would not drain and overflowed unless you finished in five minutes. Way overpriced for the size of the room but the location was very convenient.

I booked two rooms for me and a colleague. His room, the TV did not work, the phone did not work. One Day we had NO internet service and they were not able to get resolved and had to go accross the street to an internet cafe....in the rain. One night the Movie channel did not work and they could not fix it (it was an internal problem). Overall was not happy.

1st room we received was in the basement with a view of a brick wall, tiny tv, and smell of smoke from the room next door- after a pleasant request for change our 2nd room was much more spacious, with a view, much better tv and no smoke!

I ordered a king bed room, so was not cramped for sleeping space. Other rooms might not be so generous. Room was at the rear of the hotel and very quiet, morning and night. Staff was courteous. I stay in London very frequently, and prefer that general part of town. Glouscter Road tube station is particularly convenient with its two line. I have yet to find a better overall value in or near Kensington.

The hotel staff at the front desk had no idea what they were doing, they seemed confused and poorly trained. Unable to multi task.

for someone who doesn't need a whole lot of glamour this is a great hotel. my room was small, but as i was on a trip where i only went to sleep it was fine. the location is great. a 2 minute walk to the gloucester rd. stop. grocery store with a starbucks in it one minute walk away. overall very satisfied with this hotel.

It was a place to sleep and convienient for the attractions that I wanted to visit. Not impressed with the overall cleanliness of the room or the mould around the bathroom. Not good value for money, althought I realise that prices were inflated for fashion week.

I would not go back to this hotel. Although it seemed clean there was something about it that just skeeved us. Service was so so. We had two different rooms, in one of the rooms blanket and pillows were gross. If you are in the the rear of the hotel the view is awful. Only thing I can say was that the area in which it is located it great. There are many other hotels in the area.

The room was small but I expected that. The neighborhood was safe and clean. There was traffic noise since its on a busy street. The staff was friendly and helpful. The tube is just around the corner, Gloucester Road. There was an internet cafe right across the street. A supermarket down the block. Plenty of restaurants around the area. Overall, everything was pretty convinient. I liked it there.

I have stayed in the Park International a number of times over the years for business and leisure, and I have found the staff to be very attentive, friendly and helpful. The foyer, reception and dining areas are clean and tidy, the guestrooms clean and comfortably furnished. As a 3 star hotel it is good value for money. However, a minor detail would be, although the exterior and interior of the hotel is clean and fresh, the guestrooms could do with some refurbishment (new carpets, light shades) to spruce up the rooms a little.

Short walk from Gloucester Road tube station; good restaurants across the street; reasonably priced; good concierge advice. Rooms are small, as typical in London.

We'll be staying here again. It's a good price for a decent hotel in a fabulous location. Our room was a little hot, even with the radiator turned off, but we just set the air conditioning to low and were quite comfortable. And the location can't be beat!

This hotel was quite good. We spent two nights - the rooms were small but well maintained for old houses that have been joined together. They were kind enough to let us in our rooms early. Bathroom was a decent size with lots of hot water, beds were comfortable, tea and coffee maker worked well and the small fridge was useful. Rooms were quite warm at night with no way to change temperature.....windows were double glazed and could not be left open. Most of the hotel staff are not English but they were reasonably helpful and pleasant. Internet hook up was a disaster and non existent. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel - there is a small bar off the lobby. Location was good - it's a 10 minute walk from the Gloucester Road tube station..(the Big Red Bus also has a stop there so it was good for that) 20 minute walk to the Victoria and Albert Museum and 30 minute walk to Harrods. I would certainly use it again for a similar type of short stay get-a-way.
