Viss du vil relativt billig (billig nok for et studentpar), bu med høg standard,og tre minutters gåavstand fra alle shoppingmuligheter og buss-undergroundstasjon, så vil eg absolutt anbefale å bu på K-West. Meg og min sambuar budde på executive rom i 2. etg med vinduer ut mot eit lite grøntområde og rekkehus. Rommet levde absolutt opp til (om ikkje over) forventningane! Reint fint rom, og flott bad med badekar. God plass i skap/hyller og en nyttig liten safe plassert i skapet og der er kjøleskap. Rommet har air condition som du stiller varmt/kaldt sjølv. Det einaste negative eg vil seie er at vi hadde litt problem med å få det kaldt på rommet (i februar) og vi har en mistanke om at kopper/glass og t-skjeier bare blir skylt for så å bli plassert på hylla igjen, altså at dei ikkje bytter ut med reine glass når dei rydda rommet. I resepsjonen er dei imøtekommande og hjelpsomme. Dei hjelper til med å booke billetter for deg, uansett om det er til taxi, guidet busstur eller museum som f-eks Madame Tussaud. Hotellet ligg like ved europas største sentrumsshoppingsenter Westfield. Her har du alle butikkane du treng. Eine delen av senteret heiter: "The Village" og inneheld alt du ikkje har råd til: Gucci, Prada, Versace, Miu Miu, Chanel and the list goes on. Men det er gøy å kikke likevel. Planlegger du å shoppe her bør du gå til concierge-disken og vise nøkkelkortet ditt fra hotellet; da får du et VIP-pass og ei liste over butikker (og merker) kor du får opptil 15/20 % rabatt, dette viser du i kassa når du handler. (Hugs også å få tax free kvittering på alt du handler sånn at du får igjen masse penger på flyplassen når du reiser heim). Skal du ut å ete er ikkje området akkurat rundt hotellet å foretrekke og der er ikkje mange kafear eller restaurantar heller. Restaurantane og kafeane på "the balcony" på Westfield er derimot kjempegode. Shepherds Bush heiter buss- tube stasjonen rett ved Westfield, altså max 4 min gåavstand fra hotellet, med forbindelser til heile byen.

Nok et flott opphold på mitt faste hotell i Islington, London. Ypperlig hotell og flott beliggenhet. Nærhet til alt man trenger av puber, restauranter og opplevelser.

Dessverre innfridde ikke hotellet forventingene. Rommet var trangt og kaldt uten mulighet til å regulere temperaturen. Verst var det at det var så kaldt på badet i februar måned. Vi likte heller ikke at hotellet trakk 10 pund pr døgn av vårt kredittkort for å gardere seg mot eventualiteter - vitner om dårlig tillit til gjestene.

Nyoppusset hotell, med hyggelig personale. Ligger sentralt og er et godt alternativ til de større hotellene i området. Inernett må betales for ekstra, noe som er et minus.

"Supert hotell"
Vi stortrivdes her. Fantastisk hyggelig personale, og veldig rent og pent. Veldig god frokost. Eneste minus var at det rommet vi fikk var lite. Men veldig rent, og et flott nyoppusset bad. Kort avstand til tuben.

Dette er en perle i London. Og det er takket være et helt suverent personale. Har aldri opplevd maken til naturlig vennlighet og ekte intreresse for sine gjester. Meget hjelpsomme da air co. vår sluttet å virke sent på kvelden. Lyse fine rom, god størrelse, gode senger. Frokostsalen med sitt smilende og hyggelige personalet og gode frokost bør også […] trekkes frem. Rolig område, greit å komme seg ned til sentrum enten med metro eller buss. "Fem dager i august 2011 på Park International Hote"
Hotellet lå meget sentralt til, både for buss, T-bane, restauranter. Det var nyrenovert i lyse farger.Hotellet hadde en trivelig frokostsal, og frokosten svarte helt til forventningene. Betjeningen var meget hjelpsom og imøtekommende - helt førsteklasses. Vi virkelig trivdes og anbefaler hotellet på det varmeste.

Hotellet ligger 3 minutters gange fra Gloucster Road undergrunns-stasjon. Det gir gode muligheter for å komme seg både rundt selve sentrum (Victoria, Themsen, Notting Hill) og inn til selve sentrum (Soho, Covent garden og Leicester square). Det er også gangavstand til Hyde park, National museum, Science museum og Victoria & Albert museum. Hotellet […] har stil og man ønskes velkommen med smil overalt. De ansatte er meget serviceinnstilt. Hadde enkelt rom som var veldig lite, men rent og pent. Veldig god og innholdsrik frokostbuffet. Hotellet har også en bar og restaurant som jeg ikke prøvde ut. God serviser ligger nær til det meste.
"Heretter vårt 1. valg i London"
Fra første stund ble vi positivt overrasket over personalet som møtte oss og inntrykket av hotellbygningen som var under oppussing (utedørs). Vårt rom var nylig totalrenovert og var lekkert mht fargevalg og kvalitet på seng og dusjbad. Vi kom direkte fra et 5 stjerners hotell og Park Int. var helt på høyde mht service, rengjøring og kvalitet på maten […] i hotellets restaurant. Vi stortrivdes under hele oppholdet pga det svært hyggelige og imøtekommende personalet. Hotellet ligger i nærheten av en undergrunnsstasjon, en kort taxitur fra markedet i Portobello Road eller Soho og en trivelig spasertur fra Hyde Park forbi en ekte engelsk pub. "Bo godt i London, til en rimelig penge!"
Positivt overrasket over hotellet. Opplevde oss vellomne og sett. Imøtekommende personale. Nyrenoverte rom med flislagte bad, rent og pent. Frokost til å bli mett av, ikke bare loff og marmelade. Kort vei til undergrunnen. Gangavstand til Hyde Park. Vi var alle veldig godt fornøyd, og reiser gjerne dit igjen.

Hotellet hadde nylig oppgradert lobby og resturantområde. Blitt skikkelig bra. Rommene var litt slitt, men disse er de også igang med en oppgradering på. Ble litt bekymret når jeg så stillas utenfor, men arbeidet plaget oss ikke i det hele tatt. Maten var bra, hotellets ansatte svært hyggelige og serviceminded. Hotellet ligger to minutters gange fra […] tuben, så det er svært sentralt til alle mulige severdigheter. Kan trygt anbefales. "Flott beliggenhet til en hyggelig pris"
Først litt skryt til Hotels.com. Vi dro på impulstur til London, tok t-banen til Kensington og satt oss på Starbucks uten anelse om hvor vi skulle tilbringe natten. Hotels.com bød på en knallbra mobilside som lot oss booke dobbeltrom over kaffekoppen til en latterlig billig penge. Hotellet i seg selv var egentlig ganske fint, selv om det bar preg av […] å være litt gammelt og hadde små rom. Men for oss som trives på enkle B&B's så var jo dette ren luksus. Gode senger og utsikt til en kjempekoselig bakgate med et lite bilverksted gjorde oppholdet svært så trivelig. Anbefales for alle som ikke MÅ ha flatskjerm og boblebad på rommet når de er i London. Quite good value for the money. Friendly staff and very helpful. Breakfast was a fair combo of continental and english breakfast. Room was a bit small but aren´t they all in London. Clean and well lighted. An underground stoop was close by to go to almost anywhere easily.

"Newly refurbished and a great hotel"
I stayed here whilst visiting an exhibition at Earls Court (8 mins away on foot) and it's a really nice hotel. It has clearly just been refurbished as everything was absolutely brand new, even the remote control for the TV looked immaculate. I am told that another similar sized building next door is slowly being converted to extra bedrooms. The breakfast […] buffet was good and staff very attentive. "Good location and outstanding service"
We spent one night at the Park International in our way to Edinburgh during a family trip. We stayed in a room for three in one of the upper levels of the hotel. The room was clean, quite and comfortable. The only downside for the picky ones is that the decoration of the rooms is impersonal and could be more inviting. In any event, the Park International […] was a great deal for the price considering its good location and buffet breakfast (included in the fare). The service at the restaurant and front desk was outstanding. I would stay again at this hotel and would recommend it as a good alternative when visiting London. Les mer
This is a super hotel and I was almost completely impressed. Very clean, newly done up, excellent breakfasts and centrally located. Staying in Gloucester Rd was excellent for connections from Heathrow and getting into town. The staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. My only surprise was the tiny room. It was barely more than […] a cubbyhole, but I didn't use it for anything other than sleeping, so this was no problem to me. It was quiet too, so a f Good night's sleep was part of the package. "Enjoyed the Park International"
Small rooms, but I expect that in many London hotels given the older buildings. Kensington location is nice, and hotel service was excellent across the board.

Our stay at the Park International Hotel was relaxing and peaceful in elegant surroundings with pleasantly attentive staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. We found our room tastefully decorated, immaculately clean and extremely comfortable, and although only a few minutes walk from Gloucester Road tube station and handy cosmopolitan coffee shops, […] we found it quiet and calm. A new Waitrose is adjacent to the tube station and the tree-lined streets around were perfect for an evening stroll after a delicious meal served in the romantic hotel restaurant decorated in black and silver. Breakfast is a calm affair in the Breakfast Room, with attentive staff on hand. We will definitely visit here again, if only for me to soak up the luxurious atmosphere of the stylish foyer-lounge, beautiful sofas and stately Georgian architecture! Without being too decadent, the room although quite small seemed very sumptuous and not at all pretentious, we felt at home and not as if we were pretending to be extra wealthy ! The room however was extremely warm and the a/c was not terribly efficient, so didn't actually get to snuggle in the luxurious duvet as didn't require it at all (it was a very […] warm October weekend though). The road outside was busy but the glazing worked well and the noise was only apparent with the window open. Breakfast was a calm relaxed atmosphere with plenty of choice and regularly being topped up with more freshly cooked food. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful, and we enjoyed a bar meal one evening which was a very reasonable price. We would stay again and recommend to others. Les mer
"A Bit Pricey"
I am pretty comfortable with small rooms, but this "superior" was too tiny, even for London. I would be happy having paid $120 or so, but for the price I thought it was not worth it. Nice hotel, though, no complaints beside that, and if I had paid less I would have been very happy with it.

Our first room had an air conditioner problem. The staff members were so helpful in moving us to another room. It was very nice. The hotel bar was nice with a great bartender. Very accommodating, we left for Paris for a day and they stored our luggage until the next day as we were booked to stay at the facility again. The checkmate bar is convenient and open 'til 1 a.m. Stayed at this hotel last year and will definitely stay there again upon my return to London.

This was my fourth time staying here and I'm still amazed at how each stay gets better. The staff was attentive and always pleasant. The facilities are super clean and cater to all your needs. Five minutes from the tube and all the food and drink spots. I am looking forward to my next stay. They do a fantastic job!!

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was lovely - the only drawback was that the room was miniscule like many London or NYC hotels. It was newly renovated and smelled brand new. The bathroom was particularly well done with beautiful marble tile. The breakfast was included and that was certainly convenient for a weary traveler (expect British breakfast […] food). "Park International in Kensington - London"
I was quite impressed with this hotel, after winding up here unexpectedly due to an extended layover in London. I stayed in the most basic of rooms, the Twin Superior as I believe it was called, and was impressed. The room size was quite small by American standards, but had all the conveniences of a normal hotel room with flat-screen TV, fridge, wi-fi, […] etc. The bathroom was nice and sizable, the bed comfortable, the A/C worked well and the breakfast was good and filling. Additionally, the front desk staff was friendly and helpful; they even lent me an adapter for the length of my stay free of charge. Good and safe location in Kensington near Kensington Palace, Harrods and only a four minute walk to the Gloucester Lane subway stop. My only real gripe about the hotel is that sound of doors slamming seemed to carry on through all hours of the day and night. Oddly, the walls did not seem so thin, but for whatever reason, each time someone closed a door nearby, it was near deafening. This is not so much of a con though for me to knock off more than one point from its rating. Les mer

The Park hotel was very close to the gloucester road underground and to a number of supermarkets convenient for buying snacks, which the hotel was happy with. Hotel room was small but modern and clearly recently updated. Hotel cleanliness was excellent in our room and in the hotel common areas. I would highly recommend this hotel I was searching and searching for somewhere to stay on a recent visit to London with my mum. I only wanted to stop one night and read lots of reviews about different hotels and got disheartened by what they said. I then read reviews for Park International and it sounded fab so booked a twin room. We found it very […] easily and were very impressed. The room was new, clean and a good size. The bathroom was lovely and also clean. Breakfast was a highlight; it was my birthday that day so I celebrated with cereal, then bacon and beans on toast, then yoghurt with fruit followed by a muffin....all included in the price. "Good Location for touring London"
PArk International is located at an excellent location. It is located a block to the Gloucester station which happens to be the beginning of the Big Bus tour which will give us a very good overview of London attractions. Being at the start of the big bus tour, we are able to secure the best top level seats which give us the best view of london city. […] Park international is also a five minutes walk to the Natural Museum and Art Museum. It is also a ten minutes walk to Harrods! I was not aware of the excellent location but I chosen this hotel based on Hotel.com reviews. As for the hotel itself, everything is great but take note that it is cheaper to book online. Everything are new and clean and the new carpet probably give it a 'new' smell which may irritate someone sensitive to it. The staffs are great and I certainly will chose the same hotel in my next visit. Les mer

"Renovated hotel in the heart of Kensington"
After reading the reviews for the Park International on hotels.com, I have to admit that I didn't know how much I would like the place. The price was right however, so we risked it. What a surprise it was when we got there to see that the hotel had changed ownership and it was now renovated! The hotel smelt new, the rooms were brand new, with clean […] fancy bathrooms, comfortable beds, flat screen TVs and new air conditioning system. We had bought a king suite, which was all the way in the back of the hotel where they were still doing some work outside of our window. There was no noise however. The breakfast was also included, which I don't think has been updated on the hotels.com review. Hot and cold English breakfast. There is also a nice bar and Thai restaurant at the hotel, which has a pre fixed menu for 15 pounds for hotel guests. So, for a nice new hotel, two blocks from the Picadilly line and surrounded by pubs and everything else that Kensignton has to offer, the price for this hotel is definitely right! Les mer

While still under some renovation in certain parts of the hotel, the reception area, breakfast area, and room we stayed in were beautifully renovated and very clean. The complimentary breakfast was awesome. Free internet service had a very strong signal in our room. I was very satisfied with my recent stay here. The staff was all very friendly. The location was also very convenient and provided easy access to the major attractions in London.
18 May 2011 The hotel is undergoing a major renovation.Very nice so far. Our room had not been renovated. It was fine, but wery small.The breakfast room is quite large, very attractive and served an excellent breakfast. Handy location for Glouster Rd Underground station. We have stayed there before.

Great location close to all major museums. Hotel is about 4 buildings joined up, and it feels like it, with long twisting corridors. Single rooms are tiny. I viewed two bedrooms both overlooking a lift shaft. The hotel was having extensive building works completed when I visited. "Park International - truly awful"
This was the first and only horrible hotel experience I have had. The hotel was clearly a smoking hotel until recently. We confirmed twice that our room would be non-smoking and they said it was. The smoke stench in the room was so thick you literally had trouble breathing. The smell is in the carpet, in the wallpaper, in the drapes (with burn holes […] to match), and even in the mattress. The "cottage rooms" are very badly outdated. The hotel was also undergoing construction. The sign posted by the general manager said they try to keep guests as far from the construction as possible. We opened our drapes to find scaffolding, boxes and a man standing there. As such, we could not open the windows to air out the room. We literally could not have been any closer the construction. And they did not stick to the posted consturction hours, working well into the early evening. Most of the staff was lovely except for the receptionist who could not find our reservation and treated us like third-class ciitizens. This hotel is so miserable that my husband and I walked out and went next door to another hotel. This hotel cannot and should not in any way claim to be smoke-free or decent. It is simply a dirty, nasty pit. The only cheery part of the hotel is the breakfast room in the basement. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Les mer
"Great location - not-so-great hotel"
It's always best to start with the positive so - this hotel is in a great location to access the tube, several museums and other areas of London. The tube closest to us had 3 lines. There is a post office right by the tube station and there were 2 supermarkets 1 block away from the hotel. We got free b'fast with our reservation and it was a very good […] spread and well attended to. Now for the bad part - the hotel is currently under major renovation so that's the first bad thing. A scaffolding went up right outside our window - luckily it was the last night of our stay - otherwise, we would have had men standing outside our window banging away at 8:00AM. A portion of the hotel was blocked off and much banging and drilling would begin every morning at 8:00AM. Admittedly, we were far enough from the area to not hear it in our room, but it would definitely have been a problem once the work commenced outside our window. We booked a king room but when we arrived, were given a double - tiny, w/ a shower half the size of a London telephone booth - and told we wouldn't get a king till the next evening. Very inconvenient as we wanted to unpack and settle in. A meager compensation was given only after I asked for it - a free drink for each of us in the adjacent restaurant/bar. The king room was a fairly good size room but there was a constant smell of mildew and dampness, even w/ the window open and AC on (mind you, this was in Feb). The bathroom was decent but lacked in hooks and bars, which one needs for hanging clothes and towels. There was a tub but only a fabric curtain - no liner - and during a shower, the curtain would billow in and stick to you - not pleasant. We were told there was free wi-fi in the lobby and I was able to access it the first evening, but not again after that. When I asked the front desk, no one knew how to access it for me. The location was good for getting around London but the immediate neighborhood was lacking in good restaurants. All in all, I did Les mer

This hotel is undergoing renovation now, and it will be very impressive when finished. The lobby is gorgeous, all tile and marble and beautiful furniture. The staff were all very friendly. Stayed for 1 night to make a full day at the natural history museum as a family of 4. Checked in the day before. Room was ready for us no issue very attentive staff.
