"Vacation Stay"
The Quality Inn Hotel is good for tourist as well as business people. Though the hotel is count as 2 star but clean and good service. If anyone would like to stay close to down town as well as near to the beach, this hotel is recommended. The rate is reasonable with free breakfast.

"Enjoyable stay except for tobacco smell"
I went to Morehead on a fishing trip. I chose this hotel because it was the only one that had an available double bed room for a one night stay. The service was good and the facility was very pleasant. The only thing I hated about my stay was that the room was a smoking room and that stale tobacco smell was awful. I knew in advance that the room was […] a smoking room, therefore perhaps I should not be complaining about the smell. Other than that, I had a very enjoyable stay. And I would recommend this hotel. "A great room... for mold growth"
My stay at this hotel started with a call to the front desk. Two of the three lamps in my room had bulbs that didn't work. After a 45 minute wait (There was only one person available to handle the hotel) I was given the two bulbs to change myself. Turning on all three lights was a huge mistake. I was able to see all the stains on the bed covers. I don't […] know what they were, I just knew I didn't want to touch them. If that wasn't bad enough, Upon entering the bathroom I was shocked to find mold growth in very large quantities all around the wall behind the toilet. If I weren't so tired after a 11 hr drive I would have left immediately. Keep in mind that this is a hotel that will not rent to locals so that they will not have parties and damage the rooms. "Good location, but room had problems."
We stayed at this hotel for one night and only needed a place to sleep. We arrived late and left early. The hotel staff was very friendly and offered directions to where we needed to be in the morning. The room looked fairly clean and it was comfortable. The problem didn't become evident until we left in the morning and found that all of us were covered […] with bites. I don't know if there were bugs in the bed or the room, but clearly, we were not alone! Hopefully, the hotel can correct this, because otherwise it would have been a good stay. Les mer
"Morehead City Quality Inn"
At checkin had a choice of upstairs or downstairs room. Chose downstairs room for move in convenience. Room looked like it had not been vacuumed and toilet needed cleaning and tv was very fuzzy. Room was so musty it made you gag. I even sprayed with oust but even that didn't help. Went to front desk to request a move to upstairs room and was met with […] alot of nasty resistance until I told her it was making me sick. Upstairs was much nicer, smell was cleaner and tv was clear. But bathroom light blinked like a strobe light and one side of bed was WET. Lobby was nice. Not a good experience. Les mer

My husband and I celebrated our 36th anniversary with a fun and relaxed visit to the Crystal Coast. What we liked most about our stay at the Quality Inn was the friendliness of the front desk staff, the cleanliness of the room, and the hotel was in a great location. We visited Atlantic Beach, Beaufort, Harkers Island, and Emerald Island. Not one of […] these locations were more than 20 mins away from the hotel. Floor was wet from air conditioner. When I called front desk we were told they only had 1 room left. King size smoking room. Beds were uncomfortable. Hard, plastic on beds made a terrible noise. Pillows hard. Didn't change sheets and we were there 3 nights. Pool area rundown and dirty. Would not recommend.

The room was clean and comfortable. It's location was close enough to the beach (5 miles) to satisfy us and also close to good restaurants and the Aquarium, which is a popular must-see site. The staff was professional and friendly. The included breakfast had a good selection. I would stay there again and recommend this hotel to other's, as well.

The hotel had a friendly staff. Pool was nice. Breakfast was good. But rooms were not very clean and the room was very rundown. It is fine for a stort stay.
Towels needed cleaning and there was a cigarette burn in the bedspread (of a non-smoking Room) the breakfast and service was good!!!!
The staff was friendly. We were offered our choice of ground floor or upstairs room. The room was relatively clean, but the bath tub was stained and a bit dirty looking, but we were only there for a night and it wasn't as bad as it looked. While the room was clean and the staff was polite, the beds were tiny, and I had probably the worst nights sleep in years. If I wasnt getting knee'd by my wife, I was too hot under the blankets, or too cold out from under them. The breakfast was standard, waffles which was fine. And the pool was refreshing and clean. "Great hotel for the money..."
We overall had a satisfactory stay at the hotel. The breakfast in the morning was quite nice and the lady at the front desk was very nice to me and my family. The only problem I had was that there was a space below the door that was missing weather stripping and we saw a roach crawl up the wall. This kind of creept me out a bit, but I am pretty sure […] it came in through under the door. I talked to the lady at the front desk about it and she was very nice about it and said that she would call it in to have it sprayed. I would still stay there. I would ask for a room that has weather stripping at the bottom of the door though. :) Les mer

"Good for my purposes"
I did not need a hotel with lots of fancy amenities. Still, there was a good breakfast and a strong internet wireless signal included in the charge. The beds were comfortable. Everything in the room worked. The room was clean. What else would I want?

"Quality Inn Morehead"
Place was old and in a depressed area. It is in need of remodeling both inside and out. Bedspread had big stains on it and the room was dirty. Thank goodness we only stayed one night.
très couteux pour la qualité, nous avions pris une chambre fumeur et nous avons demandé de changer car la chambre offerte de fumeur était sale, elle puait le moisi et il y avait du moisi après les rideau, les meubles défraîchis, ils nous ont changé pour non-fumeur c'était le jour et la nuit...je peux bien croire que la cigarette ce n'est pas bon pour […] la santé mais il y a toujours des limites donc les fumeurs qui ne veulent pas fumer à l'extérieur n'allez pas là Les mer
