Fint hotell for deg som ikkje stiller veldig store krav til kvalitet og vil bo relativt billig i Halifax. Det er ikkje så langt frå sentrum, bryggen og handlegatene i Halifax. Nabolaget er heilt ok, det ligger i eit bolig område med mange privatboliger og eit par lokale pizzasjapper/ceféer. Eineste eg kan utsette på er mulighetene til å sjå Premier League fotball, men det er ikkje bare på dette hotellet at du ikkje har TV kanaler som viser det som virkelig bør kalles for fotball (ikkje soccer.) ;) Frukosten er *dårlig*, faktisk bedre uten... så hvis du vil sove litt frempå, unngå frukosten og ta deg heller ein tur til nærmeste kiosk/pøb/café og ta deg ein skikkelig frukost der istedenfor. Det er ikkje så dyrt å få ein god frukost til 5-10$ Alt i alt, bra hotell, bra beliggenhet ift prisen, dårlig frukost. Får 7 av 10 poeng av meg ;)

"Sentralt i Halifax"

Very nice hotel with an excellent location. The lobster pasta from the hotel kitchen was quite good. The view out my window of the harbor was something nice to see in the morning.

The bed was very comfy but the furniture and bathroom could use an update. (looking a little rough around the edges) A little pricey for what it is unless you are getting a discount on the room.

My room was not ready when I arrived at 2:00 p.m. I asked for a street view and didn't get it. The closet door was broken and I told the person who came to my room and nothing was done.

"Visiting Friends During Christmas Holiday"
With very limited time to see our friends after spending a week with family, we booked a room in the center of Halifax and asked our friends to come to us. We booked a 50% more expensive "studio" as it was listed on Hotels.com only to find we had what we would call a regular room (both of us travel in our jobs and I can assure you it was a nice but […] regular room). Explaining the need for space to entertain both Beth and Rick came up with a solution that addressed our requirements. You may not be able to eliminate problems but when they do arise, how you handle them is crucial. Well done Beth and Rick! Les mer

This hotel suited our needs well. All was clean, the beds were comfortable, temperature control was fine and the bathrooms were well stocked. I say the experience and overall quality is slightly above average than the norm. 4 out of 5, a great choice for any visitor.

This was the second time I stayed at this hotel and I was just as pleased as the first time. The hotel staff was excellent and extremely helpful. They assisted us with all of our needs and provided us with above and beyond service. This has definitely become my hotel of choice for the Halifax area!!!

"dissapointing"
The hotel room wasn`t clean , we checked out at 4.45 because of continues slamming of doors, did not have a good night sleep. However the hotel wants to give us another night in another room

The staff was most understanding, efficient and courteous. The room cleaning gentleman was kind enough to write a note of thanks when we left a tip. I would recommedn the hotel IF the price rates were what we paid, BUT not if they were as posted on the door. The only complaint we could have was the lack of variety and sensiblly priced meals in the […] hotel. We found very satisfactory restaurants nearby, never eating in the Delta Halifax. While the staff were first rate, I was amazed at how sound traveled so easily in the hotel. The guest in the next room were talking a little louder than normal but I could make out every word clearly. Also, when every door that surrounded my room would close it was amazingly loud. Check in time is 3p.m. ,we arrived at approx. 2.45pm,was told room not ready. Gave my cell # to person on desk and got a call at 4p.m. telling me room ready.

Your hotel is loacated in the very best spot of town .I stayed in a lot of hotels and I had to take a cab to get anywhere and everywhere. I don't mind walking and where your hotel was I could walk everywhere I wanted to go. Your people were very helpful in telling me the answers to all the questions I had. I have never been disappointed with Delta ...and this stay was excellent in all respects. When we arrived, atour group had dropped in 4 hours early ... the professionalism of the staff was always apparent. Our check-in (by Tomomi) was unhurried, personalised, and courteous. (If room is not perfectly clean - it's free) Of course we only found it at bed time so sorry we probably put it there our selves!!!!!?????

The first day was a little bumpy with the valet but once the staff got to know me it was very speedy and efficient . The room service was great and always on time. Staff where friendly and helpful. Over all stay was great and I would recommend or stay here again myself in the future.

Our options are limited in a city with limited parking. We actually rent spaces from the mall across the street and provide a valet service for the same retail price they charge.
