Extended Stay America Chicago - Naperville - Naperville

We had never stayed at your hotels before,it was a great stay.Planning on visiting again. The receptionist Sally was very helpful to us with not only by giving us directions but she stayed on the phone with me the whole time to make sure we got to the hotel.Thank you so much Sally.

Needs updated.

- the hotel had a great location - rooms were decent afew stains here and there on the walls but nothing major - the down side was any phone calls made were very very expensive.. - and room service was only once a week.. so that ment asking the from desk for new towls and linen and having to clean it urself.. but all in all it was a decent stay for […] the money.. rate was reasonable. room was fine. BUT, allergies broke out real bad, possible something in room triggered? also had some skin issues that occured during my stay which i can't really say what actually caused major irritation! Upon checking out and leaving, everything was fine so maybe mold in the rooms?

....the night staff. When I checked in during the late afternoon, the guy at the desk was really nice and even upgraded my room free of charge (I think it was a slow weekend for them but it made me happy none-the-less). He was nice and I was very happy with my room especially for online one night. When I checked out at 6am, there wasn't anyone at the […] desk. I yelled, 'Hello!?', several times but received no response. I'm just standing there waiting the check out and nobody is there. I needed to catch a flight at O'Hare so you can understand how aggravating it was. Finally I noticed an emergency telephone off to the side. So I called it and a (slightly annoyed) person asked me what I wanted. I told them I needed to check out. She said, "Do you even need a receipt?". Of course I did! And even if I didn't, is a person really supposed to know that it's ok to just leave without checking out? Anyway, she grudgingly came to the front desk and printed out my receipt for me without saying more than two words. It was a good stay for one night but the night crew really rubbed me the wrong way. Very unhappy that in the year 2011 a hotel does not have up to date technology being able to provide a wake up call. I was told that the computer system is to old to support this request but that there was a clock radio in the room (which was not plugged in so I moved the night stand to plug it in). Also, I did not see any visible pop vending machine […] or ice machine. Shower towels had stains on them they were washed but still was not comfotable using a stained towel lucky for me one was clean. It was not the fanciest place in the world, but a great deal for the money. The young lady at the front desk was very courteous and helpful.

very outdated, website states complimentary toiletries and all they had was toothpaste, also they were very surprised that I would even ask

Staff is rude, hotel is a dump!

I needed a place to stay for one night before a race and this fit the bill. You get what you pay for but I think it was reasonable. The bed was very firm, but it was generally very clean. To get a semi-full service kitchen it pretty good for the rate I paid. It's very basic, no frills. The only downside was the room had a faint odor of some kind. Signature decor not exactly a huge upgrade -- room still just this side of shoddy. But it's ESA - you get what you pay for, and you should adjust your expectations accordingly. Heater knobs worked intermittently, fixtures were tired, general paint/trim/furnishings etc seen better days. Hallway could stand a vacuuming. General cleanliness could use some […] work, need to up their game on maintenance. But again it's ESA, not the Ritz Carlton. It is what it is -- an inexpensive room w/kitchenette, comfortable enough, quiet. Needed a place to stay between leaving home in a divorce and starting up apt lease, this fit the bill just fine. If you're looking for fancy this ain't it, but for what I needed, it worked. Stayed in a lot of hotels, and can say that wall unit heaters tend to be hit and miss -- in this place they were miss and miss. First room's stopped working, 2nd room's kicked off an on all night, not conducive to a good sleep but better than freezing. Desk staff not great, but one more time, if you want staff falling over you try the Four Seasons. Place was okay enough, quiet (for me the most important thing) and inexpensive. Did the trick. They do need step it up a notch though -- if things slide even a little bit more the place would be in danger of crossing over into seedy. It's not there now, but it could easily get there. Bottom line -- if you need a place to crash w/kitchen for more than a few nights, this will work. If you're on vacation with the family or traveling on business, this is probably not the place for you. Les mer

The only downside would be the person at check-in, was eating something in another room and her hands were dripping with whatever she had been eating. Only an observation, everything else was good.

The room was nice, but looked a little warn out. Could use a freshening. Staff was nice, friendly. I would probably stay again!

The hotel was decent with relatively big rooms. The kitchen had a "film" over everything -- the type of film that appears in college housing where a thorough cleaning is never done. Nothing was awful though and for a week's stay, it was good enough. The price was decent - especially when you figure you save money by cooking your own meals instead of […] eating out. That said, if you plan to eat out during you stay, I'd recommend a traditional hotel -- you can get quite a nice place in the Naperville area for the same price. Les mer

This hotel is extremely dirty. I had to purchase clorox wipes to disinfect the room. I found dried food particles on the dishes. The hallways were not vaccuumed. The hotel staff is not friendly.

If all you're looking to do is rest after walking around downtown Naperville then this place is good. Staff isn't very personable.

Hotel was great, location was excellent, very accessible to highway. And alot of stores and restaurants in the area. Not far from Casino and Outlet Mall.

It is nice for the price!

I stayed her for a week for work and it was sufficent for my needs. My only complaint is the towels, and restoxking of the toiletries in the bathroom. The towels were freshley laundered but no one bothered to apply some kind of stain remover to the towels. As for the TP and Kleenex.... bring your own, your lucky if you have a full roll and box when […] you get there. Also- besure and check the microwave- mine looked like something exploded in there and had to clean it myself. Les mer

I thought that the room was nice. However, it cost more for a room with 2 beds and on top of that I was charged for a second person. If I was charged extra for 2 beds, why the second charge?

Good for the money in this commercial area; conveniently located near expressway and area amenities.

This hotel wasn't great but wasn't horrible either. It was as expected for the price. Our room was very clean except it appeared that they forgot to clean behind the door of the bathroom as there was quite a bit of hair on the floor. The room had a smell of chinese take out but which was wierd but it was also very to the interstate, shopping restaurants, […] etc. My only real complaint was that there was not shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom, only bar soap. Maybe that is typical of this brand, I don't know. Les mer

Not impressed with the smoking room we stayed in. The mattress and sheets had burn stains. No fan in the bathroom. But for the price we paid I guess it sufficed.

You never know what to expect at some Extended Stay hotels, but this one in Naperville was a very pleasant surprise. Great front desk people - always willing to help - and a nice room that was clean and neat. Definitely will stay again when we need to stay in the area.

Hotel was clean. Refridgerator did not work , after two trips to front desk it was fixed. Steam Iron was broke, one of two cups were cracked. Will not go back, you get what you pay for.
