God service, hyggelig personale. det er en enormt god frokostbufe, med alle tenkelige retter. Det eneste minus med hotellet er at alle ansatte også bruker samme heisen, så man står som sild i tønne med vaskere, mekanikere, og alt annet. ikke særlig hyggelig å se rett ned i en kurv full av skittne laken. Det er en egen heis for ansatte, men den er åpenbart ute av drift.

Topp på alt som vedrører personlig service, sikkerhet. Restaurantbetjeningen holdt mål. men ikke mere.' Rommene begynner å bli litt gammelmodige, men er helt ok. Nær The Big Mall noe som er en handle/shopping fordel. Hotellet har en god Airport limousinetransfer, men veldig dyr. Egen ankomst lounge på flyplassen hvis man bruker hotellets transfer.

"ESDA Shangrila Manila"
The horizon club room be had was very small and poorly outfitted. Across the hall from us was a suite having new carpet laid and the smell of the contact cement was overpowering. To top it off, the rest of the floor had only two occupied rooms; they could have put us in a better spot. BTW we arrived at 0100HRS.

Truly the best hotel in ortigas, has a convenient location since the hotel is connected to a mall, the service of staff from maintenance to reception is superb. the pool is one of the nicest among all the hotel i have been.definitely a great shangrilific experience. will be back soon

Stayed there 30/9/11 till 4/10/11. One of the nicest, friendliest and most helpful hotels we have every stayed at - it ticked all the boxes. Very central to a large shopping precinct attached to the Shangrila Hotel with lots of little restaurants and shops to chose from. Will go back for our next trip.

Was greeted with unpleasant news that my reservation for the Garden Wing was not going to be fulfilled. But I was upgraded to a much larger room on the 15th floor which contributed to a very pleasant stay in spite of a raging typhoon outside. Having Malls on two sides of the hotel made it convenient. The staff at this hotel are really what make it stand out as a true 5 star experience. Everyone I interacted with from the check in, to room service, to the concierge, to check out, ... were all fantastic examples of customer service and hospitality. The room and facilities were also top notch with the pool being totally a very inviting place to go. If […] you find yourself doing business in the area (ie not makati), or on vacation, this is a great place to stay. If you are doing business in the main business district of makati, I would recommend getting a hotel closer to there as the traffic in manila is terrible (I sat for 40 minutes in traffic trying to get back to this wonderful hotel after one business meeting in makati). From airport arrival to departure, the hotel provided excellent customer service from the security, bell services, check-in process, restaurant service, and house keeping. I would not hesitate to stay at Edsa Shangri La.

I chose this hotel because I wanted my girl and her family to see what a 5-star rated hotel was like. Her word for it was "elegant" and mine was "opulent." They pride themselves on "courtesy," so the entrances and lobby are always full of staff whose primary purpose is to smile and greet you. This became trite after the first few barrages of "good afternoon […] sir" as I made my way to the elevator, which of course had an attendant for people who are too lazy or impatient to actually push the "up" button themselves and have to wait for the doors to open. The girls looked ridiculously unnatural with cosmetics on their faces and wearing long uniform gowns that made them appear more like members of an American bridal party. The room was nice and peaceful but smaller than one would expect. The lighting and switches were placed conveniently and effectively, something that too many other hotels overlook. The interior restaurants had very good selections, as they very well should for the prices. Overall, we felt as if we were in the USA; the location is a commercial district, so you will not see any turo-turo or sari-sari stores anywhere in the area. We needed to do our shopping at the two large malls and supermarket that are within walking distance. Unfortunately the pool was closed during our stay due to recent typhoon damage, but at least that helped remind us that we were still IN the Philippines. Internet access worked well and was included in the room charge, a rare find in southeast Asian hotels. They do expect a deposit of $50 per day for "incidentals," so bring a credit card or possibly a LOT of extra cash, depending on the length of your stay. They have ATM machines on the lower floor if you need them. Of course the staff were very accommodating and helpful at all times. Those who want "movie star" treatment should enjoy it here. Les mer

This is an excellent and secure hotel that's close to the Ortigas area. One of my favorite hotels in the area for its location, excellence, restaurants, and other features. I've been to this location many times for dinner, and meetings as well.

"Gut für Kurzaufenthalt"
Das Personal war erstklassig;zuvorkommend, aufmerksam, sympathisch und nett. Das Superior Zimmer war sehr klein, ebenso das Badezimmer. Beide sahen alt aus. Lage super zum Shoppen, da man nur über die Strasse gehen muss. Das Essen (Room Service) war ausgezeichnet.
