Hotellet er bra for prisen og frokost inngår. Rommene, service og frokosten var helt OK. Vær forberedt på at det tar en god stund (20+ min) for shuttle-bussen å kjøre til flyplassen etter dere har ringt hotellet. Men, alle hotell rundt flyplassen i Denver er langt unna.

We had a layover and early flight out of DIA so we stayed here. The place was clean and affordable, in a nearby location. The only thing I'd worry about is noise due to proximity to I-70, which is right outside your window. We were tired enough where that wasn't an issue, but just something to bear in mind.

When I arrived the staff was friendly however the room had no towels, cups, ice bucket and the remote control for tv had no batteries. No soap and no bath mat. I had to call and ask for these items.

Choice Properties is attempting to refurbish an older Crystal Inn but need to know the third floor smoking floor will always be a smoking floor and customers need to know that. Some minor bugs - lip of coffeemaker was broken off leaving a very sharp jagged edge. WiFi was so-so. I would say this is an average hotel. The first room I was given had noisy water pipes in the wall. I mentioned it to them and they cheerfully gave me another room with no problem. The room was quiet and clean. About 15 minutes ride easy access to DIA. There was a Denny's and a grocery type store across the street and a McDonalds about a block away. […] All in all not bad for the price. I would stay there again for an overnight airport stay. the staff was very nice, room was clean and pool was a good temperature for swiming. Had a hard time getting the air to work properly and the hot tub looked a little dirty. I dont think they should charge for their breakfast since there is a Dennys within walking distance. The room was clean, but you could hear the water running in the surrounding rooms and it was louder than the water running in your own room. The shower was luke warm at best, the heated pool couldn't have been more than 75 degrees (typically should be around 83-85 degrees). It was too cold for my daughter and I to get in (which is saying a lot as we […] swim in cold lakes). The hot tub was like a warm bath. When I asked the front desk clerk about whether the pool was supposed to be heated, she barely looked up from her cell phone. I explained that there must be something wrong with the heater or the thermostat, she just said "well, it is heated." We were there for three nights and never received maid service. We stayed overnite to go to airport next morning the pool was nice except no towels were there to use when done and the room said nothing about handicapped shower so my kids could not take a bath also the shower head holder was broken so I had to hold the sprayer while I took a shower. I also would have to say that the tvs need updating there was nothing […] for my kids to watch that was appropriate for night tv I was glad we brought our portable dvd player for my oldest. We also took advantage of the hotel shuttle service to airport the guy that drove us and the girl working the counter that morning bad mouthed the night employee for not writing down the correct number of guests getting on the shuttle which was 4 instead of two. He then was a crazy driver to the airport thinking he was driving a sports car but it was ok for the price I paid just some minor things that should be touched on. Les mer

this was poor. Hotel was a truck stop. dirty carpets in hall and room. Dated hotel with dark halls, tiny analog TV, dirty old furniture you would not want to sit on. Room smelled like someone had been smoking. The window was open to air it out when we arrived. Claimed to be a 3 star hotels. No way!! Towels were old, tiny and dingy white. Dogs in the […] hotel barking. We did not feel safe in the parking lot or in the long corridors of the dark motel. Continental breakfast was extra (we did not eat there). The hotel was not in a good neighborhood. We stayed across the interstate in a 2 1/2 star for less money and it was a 4 star compared to this dump. we will never stay here again. Good, location was convenient to airport, having shuttle transportation to airport was nice. Alarm was set in room and went off at 3am so that would be the only thing that really didn't make the stay 100%...maybe the staff could check the room alarms to make sure they are all turned off?

It was a great hotel did get losted trying to find it....No one answered the phone and the secound time we called someone hung up on us...We arrived to employees yelling in a back room ....service and rooms were excellent....

The room was alright. It was next to the elevator so we heard that every time it was used. Only gave us three towels but they quickly filled our request for more. Minor issues mostly. Would want to get a better price to stay again.

The walls and floors are very thin. Which means you will wake up when your neighboring room wakes up. It's close to the highway, but if you turn on the heater/AC, you won't hear it. Clean sheets - nice service - no issues. Towels were a little frayed, pillowcases scratchy but room layout was great. I would stay again.

As you know I use Expedia a lot -- and so I trust the reviews -- My invoice is for ambassador -- but it changed to Clarion The Map Directions to get to the hotel are poor. The hotel is poorly lit and they had canvas over outside sign the room was large -- a suite, but in the bedroom, no tv althoug a cabinet for them,the heater didn't work -- when I […] asked, they said both are the way they want the rooms -- the heater in living area worked fine. the lamp on the desk in BR and one of the lamps next to bed didn't work either. Hotel was very affordable. Room was clean and comfortable. Noisy with next door showers and tv. No breakfast available until 8 am on weekends.

Clean room, clean bed, clean bathroom. Friendly staff. Seems to be as advertised. I have stayed here two previous times, and look forward to staying here the next time I fly out of Denver International Airport (~15 minutes away with their hotel shuttle service). I recommend the hotel as a good value for the price. The reason it does not receive higher […] marks, is there could be some improvements and updating to the property. Newer TV's (old CRT Tubes), newer elevator, cleaner, brighter hallways, or more exercise equipment for the gym, would make this a really, great hotel. The hotel seems to be in transition from the Ambassador Hotel to Clarion Hotels, so will continue to look toward more improvements. But again, for the price, I feel the hotel is a good value and I look forward to staying there again. Les mer

If you are looking for an affordable airport near the Denver airport where you won't feel like you're slummin' it... This is the hotel for you!! The staff was extremely helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the airport shuttle was perfect!

Convenient to the airport but the noise was terrible. I heard every move the person upstairs made - every time the water came on I had to turn up the tv. The hotel was clean but I would never stay there again as it was impossible to sleep. Very thin walls I guess.

Other than the random people wandering around in the lobby and halls when we checked in at 11:30pm and the front desk clerk wrongly claiming that our reservation was for the next day, the stay worked well for a night before our flight. It served it's purpose.

Motel was okay, for the price I think breakfast could have been included rather than $7 extra. Paid extra to leave car while we were on vacation. Shuttle was very slow in picking us up at the airport.

Rooms were poorly maintained, staff was nice but a bit dishonest in their dealings with us. Beds are wore out, locks are broken, and even though they say it is a non-smoking hotel, that's a joke, it smells like a cigar factory, and guests and staff are smoking everywhere. I stayed at the Ambassador for an overnight layover from Denver International, and found the hotel to be a good value. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean, comfortable enough, quiet, and good-sized: the layout featured a living area with couch, table and chair by the window, separated from the sleeping area by a half-high wall. A […] good arrangement for a gathering of several people, or a family with kids. The hotel itself is a little old, and showed signs of a recent ownership change. But it was clean and everything worked. It seems like a good place for families, and they do allow pets (for a small extra charge). With several meeting rooms it could be OK for an event also. The hotel is located not far from the airport with several hotels and a few restaurants / bars, gas station, and a few other businesses. It's not a picturesque area, but it is convenient for travel. And there is a free airport shuttle, -- call the hotel when your're ready. The only thing I'd wish to improve was the lack of amenities: everything's pretty basic, the breakfast bar was $7.00, and didn't seem to offer a whole lot. The guest services guide lists phone numbers for ordering from the nearby businesses that deliver, but there's no restaurant or bar in the hotel. On the plus side, there's a pool and exercise room, business center, and wi-fi, which I didn't use so can't comment on. In general I was satisfied with my stay at the Ambassador. Les mer

The shuttle took about an hour to pick us up from the airport, even though it's only 15 minutes away. I had to call 3 times and each time was told that the driver would be there in a few minutes. When I got to the hotel, and was asking about a shuttle back to the airport the following day, they scheduled me on a shuttle at 4:25 a.m. because the time […] I needed to go (5:30 a.m.) was "already full" even though when making the reservation for the hotel, I had specifically asked about this. When I mentioned this to the person at the front desk, I was told that they don't accept shuttle reservations in advance. The room was old looking, comfortable but just adequately so. Towels were tiny and threadbare. The bathroom light flickered whenever it was on. I would not recommend this hotel, even just as a pass-through from the airport. Les mer

This is a basic 2.5 star hotel strategically located near the airport at Pena and I-70 for an early morning flight. Previously, this was a Crystal Inn.
