"Helt OK, sett under ett"
Anmeldt av en hotels.com-gjest den aug 5, 2012Helt greit hotell. Fin beliggenhet både for handling og videre reise innenfor Dallas-Ft. Worth område. En stor fordel å ha det lille kjøkkenet på rommet, særlig for barnefamilier, fordi gratis frokosten var ikke mer enn middelmådig på europeiske standarder. Hotellets personell greide ikke å forstå at vi var fire i rommet og trengte dermed fire badehånkler, ikke de tre som de pleide å ligge igjen på rommet. Ellers var alt helt OK, og jeg ville antageligvis bruke hotellet igjen.

Anmeldt av en hotels.com-gjest den jul 22, 2012Maten på hotellet var god,men veldig dyr(til å være hotell mat). Frokost var ikke inkludert. Men hotellets personale var alltid gjestevennelige og hyggelige. Med unntak fra middags verten, der opplevde vi til tider overfladiske og noen ganger mindre hyggelige personale . Det var f.eks to restauranter og enkelte ganger fikk vi ikke valge mellom hvem restaurant vi ville spise på. Dette syntes vi var dårlig på grunnlag sv at det var forskjellig menyer og priser på de forskjellige stedene. Det var kort vei til downtown,noe som var et pluss og god service på gjesteinformasjonen. En klasie hotell som alltid var rent. Men ikke noe kjøleskap på rommet,stort minus.. Det var et lite svømmebasseng der,men ok for avkjøring:) det fantes ikke noe gratis transport til/fra hotellet og transporten hotellet ga var dyrere enn de lokale taxien i område..:) men i alt et fint opphold:)))

Went to Dallas on a short vacation, had read recent reviews about LaQuinta. I was very pleased with the hotel, the rooms were clean, plenty of hot water, easy access on and off the interstate. "Shady neighborhood but comfortable room"
Came up with my mom (and her teacup schnauzer) for an overnight stay. Not thrilled with the neighborhood -- it's near a freeway (no biggie) but shares a giant parking lot with another hotel and is across the street from a giant club. It also sits behind a gas station and is across the street from another. I say all this to make the point that there […] seemed to be a lot of peeps just loitering - in the parking lot, at the gas station, just outside the doors. But on the up side, checkin was swift and there's no fee for pets. The room itself was comfortable -- nice bathroom amenities and comfy, high bed. The walls were thin, though; we could here lot of ongoing commotion in the halls and in the one room next to us, so that kept us *and* the dog on alert far long than normal. Breakfast, however, was pretty good - an elevated continental style, w/ waffles, eggs, bacon, biscuits and an array of pastries/toast/yogurt/etc. I'm not sure I'd stay here again, especially if I was flying solo (or with my husband) as there are other hotels closer to my ultimate destination -- but it seemed worth it to not have to chuck over a pet fee. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was nice and hot and had a good variety. Even picky eaters could find something to eat. "Overnight Stay Very Nice"
We had a late check in and early checkout. I was having surgery at Baylor Medical. I was concerned initially that a first floor room near the employee work areas would be a problem but was happy that it was not. Very early the friendly lady at the desk said let her know if we wanted a different room. Once we got in, we showered and fell away to a good […] night's sleep. Very clean. No conditioner or lotion but if it keeps prices low, it's not a problem. Location was very close to the highway but again, we were first floor and did not have much noise. I'm a fan of the new La Quinta's & I've visited 2 other ones throughout the metroplex. This one is nice as expected. The only con was the construction & the fact that they closed the exit off on a Saturday & we had to figure out how to take a back way. But once it's done, I'm sure it'll b nice. "overall okay for the price"
There is a some construction around and the neighbourhood is not too good. The is a bar (??) next door, so Saturday was a little crazy, lots of loud people and even witnessed a couple's fight in the hall.... When we were checking in...it just so happened it was Happy Hour...so we took part and the snacks were delicious. We slept very good in our quiet room and woke to a delicious breakfast that came with the room the next morning. Doesn't get any better than this. We will certainly stay here again. Our stay was great. The only complaint I have is that our nearby guests were extremely loud. There was a large group of young adults (I guess they were adults-probably early twenty somethings) in the hall around 11 pm on Sat night making too much noise.
