Only problem was that we were given a room that had a thin connecting door to the room next door so we could hear everything they were saying. The hotel was full so we couldn't switch rooms.

This is an excellent budget motel. My only complaints were the WIFI was not working in my area, and the shower hot water was lukewarm. The sink hot water was hot but not the shower.

We stayed one night here and would stay again. Hotel staff was very kind, room was great for one night. Hotel is a little on the older side, but all in all it was a pleasant experience.

The room was really comfortable. The bathroom had plenty of space to move around in. The free continental breakfast was fantastic. I would definitely stay again.

Way better than the other budget hotels in Morgantown. Not fancy, needs some minor maintenance, but overall a clean, quiet and comfortable stay.

Great location; friendly staff. Only complaint was that the place was packed (It was a WVU football weekend) - there must have been 3 - 4 cars per room - and parking was scarce. Our room was in back of hotel and Saturday night we had to park in front by the Shoney's. No biggie just annoying.

The room was very comfortable and clean, which is most important. One of its wardrobe's doors hinge was missing screws and thus the door was only attached by the lower one. The continental breakfast was not impressive. The waffles, biscuits, and danish could have easily been frozen items left defrosted too long. On the other hand, the coffee was good! The […] location was a good one. The Coliseum was nearly across the street, shopping of all sorts was all very nearby. Best of all, it was very near our family's homes! Les mer

Good location if you are going to WVU for anything. Close to number of eating establishments. Reasonable price.

This motel was just as advertised - basic, no frills. Although quite plain, it was very clean, and the staff at the front desk was courteous, friendly, and quite helpful. The location was convenient to West Virginia University, which was the reason for our stay. I would recommend this for folks who want a less-expensive, basic place to stay.

I've now stayed in three other hotels within the price range of this hotel in the past month and was least satisfied with the Econo Lodge Coliseum in Morgantown, WV. This hotel was more expensive than the other hotels in other cities, yet had the worst service and had the most dated building and decor. My room was poorly lit, the furnishings were worn […] and very dated and the continental breakfast had the least variety. My check in experience was frustrating because of how long it took and because I had to overhear a heated phone conversation between an employee and a customer while I waited to be checked in. (Check out, however, was a completely different story--the employee at that time was very pleasant and helpful.) I stayed at this hotel for an audition at the WVU school of music the following day. I practiced in my hotel room that evening and was asked by the front desk staff to turn down the volume on my "video game" (my musical instrument) at 8:10 p.m. It being fairly early on a Friday night and having taken precautions to muffle the sound of my instrument before practicing, I didn't think the noise would be a problem. Since the front desk got a complaint, I would assume the walls of the hotel are very thin and that the staff does not make the effort to spread out its guests (the hotel was not crowded when I stayed) in order to avoid problems like this. Overall, this hotel would have met my expectations if I had not had better experiences at similar hotels shortly before. Since Morgantown is a college town, I would have thought there would have been more hotel options within the price range. Les mer

I would only stay there again if I had nowhere else to stay. I pulled the sheets back looking for bugs and thank goodness there were none, but the stains on the mattress pad were disgusting. Underneath of the comforter was also stained and carpets were filthy. I didn't want to take my shoes off. Shower and bath appeared clean but towels were stained […] and dry wall and grout were missing in places from ceiling and around shower. All-in-all, not a good experience. Les mer

Hotel was difficult to find. There was no signage marking the driveway and the building could not be seen from the street. I drove by several times before accidentally discovering it by pulling into the access road to turn around. Rooms are in need of an update. Bedding was very old. Staff was friendly and attentive, but I did not feel completely comfortable […] because of the general shoddiness of the hotel. I think it is way overpriced. Les mer

I had a perfectly quiet, restful night in a clean, comfortable room, which was what exactly what I was looking for in my one-night stay. The selection of items for the complimentary breakfast was quite limited. I think I came away with a bagel and coffee. There is little space in the lobby, so I just took it back to my room. The selection of TV channels […] was especially anemic (a couple dozen, if that). I was told that they were in the process of a major upgrade. It would be worthwhile to check on the status of that before booking a room. Les mer
