"Great location!"
The room was very clean and overall service was very good. Hotel is close to the highway and nice restaurants. Highly recommended.
My overall stay at the hotel was great the only problem that arose was a flooded bathroom due to a leak from the top floor but the staff resolved the problem quickly and set me up with another room besides that I had an amazing experience with the friendly staff and other guests at the hotel. Thanks doubletree!! :-)
"Nice Business Trip..."
You may be able to save a few dollars with the surrounding hotels, but you will not have any issues with your stay here at this hotel. On site restaurant and saloon makes it easy to unwind after day long meetings.

Very nice hotel, very clean and the beds were very comfortable, especially the pillows. The bathroom was a little tight with the door being so large. There was only very minor mildew in the shower area. My only complaint is a small one and that is that the tub area could have been a little cleaner around the bottom edges. Stopped here as a halfway point from Florida to Massachusetts. This was our second time staying here and it was just as good as the first time. Victor did a great job juggling a rush of guests looking for a warm bed for the night. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

"A Home Run for the I-95 Traveler"
For those of you, like mw, who are traveling the I-95 corridor, the DoubleTree at Rocky Mount is a great hotel for a one night layover. We'd been on a long drive and when we arrived, the staff was pleasant, check-in was quick and painless, the room was clean and well appointed. But, BEST OF ALL, there is a restaurant attached to the hotel with an interior […] entrance. We were exhausted after a long day of driving and to be able to just amble through the lobby into the restaurant for a drink and bite to eat was truly a blessing. The restaurant also serves breakfast. Nothing gourmet and certainly nothing low calorie ... but, after a long day on the road, it was heaven to have a clean hotel and easy access to meals. Sorry that I can't say more about the hotel. We came, we ate, we slept, we ate, and we left. Just what I want in a very close to I-95 hotel ! Les mer

"Good night stay on a long ride home"
Stayed here overnight on a 24 hour car drive from Florida to Rhode Island. The place was clean, comfortable and updated. The only negative was the air conditioner. The room was extremely warm or very cold. There was no in between. Every time the air came on, it woke me up. I'd stay here again though. For the price, it was a nice property.

Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and helpful and the location was perfect. Adjacent to Outback where we had a wonderful birthday dinner for our son and his family. Would highly recommend this hotel.

"Great stay, no complaints."
Very nice hotel staff. Hotel was right off the highway. Two steak restaurants (Texas Steakhouse and Outback) right by hotel. Our kids only wished that they had an indoor pool. The cookies they have us at check in were really good, too.

The room was comfortable for us staying just one night. I reserved the room for my husband and I on my iPhone and it was easy. The reservation was in the hotel computer when we arrived several hours later and we were quickly given our room. The bathroom facilities were located strangely, the toilet was situated lengthwise in front of the sink with no […] room to manouever. No extra towels and you had to go to the desk to ask for more if they were needed. The staff were very nice. We left early next morning so didn't sample the breakfast. But overall it was acceptable. The bathroom door had dirty hand marks or finger food stains on the inside but the rest of the bathroom seemed clean. Les mer
The hotel desk staff was very nice and helpful. The bed was lumpy and the heating/cooling unit was extremely loud.

Nice hotel convenient location. Decent restaurant attached. Our non-smoking room smelled like smoke but staff moved us to another room fairly quickly. Not an issue. Staff member that moved us refused to even accept a tip.

More than adequate except for the shower head pipe coming through the tile. Something in the room made a constant low noise. Otherwise staff fine and fresh cookies a nice touch.

very friendly staff, room was great and quiet, I wish they coupled with a better restaurant: Texas Grill is a shabby place for dinner and breakfest gave us heartburn for the entire day.Outback next door is a good place for dinner. Not much to do in Rocky Mount, we were just passing thru.

Thank you for the beautiful accommodations. We enjoyed the comfort of the room and bed. Although our fridge was not able to be turned on it was not a problem because we had a cooler and there was plenty of ice......by the way......the cookies were delicious !!!

"Doubletree by Hilton in Rocky Mount"
Just off Highway 64 and close to I-95, the Doubletree by Hilton was a pleasant surprise. The area of Rocky Mount is not especially populated, nor is it a place of a booming economy. However, the hotel itself was clean and comfortable and the staff was most accommodating.

Given a second chance, it took me about 45 minutes to check into the hotel. They put the reservation under 2 names even though I paid for both rooms on my account. They were not very friendly and the service at the pool with ordering drinks was very poor! They gave us a menu and never came back!!!!

My first time at a Doubletree and I was presently surprised. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean and had everything I needed. The mattress was one of the most comfortable ones I have slept on and the numerous pillows made for an easy sleep. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Rocky Mount area.

I had a paid reservation for three months and the front desk person had a difficult time checking me in. In fact, she was about to say they were full. She wanted to put me in a King, but I needed two queens and had paid for two queens. She pounded the keyboard some more and lo and behold our room was one King! Went back to front desk and eventually […] got into two queen room. There was a statement under our door the next morning for another room charge. I complained that I had paid, she said this was standard procedure, I would not be charged and was rather nonchalant about it, no apology. We do not need to stay at this hotel again. Les mer
