The Georgian Terrace Hotel - Atlanta

This hotel was great. The service was also great, and we were upgraded for free to a beautiful King Suite! It was so spacious and the bathroom was so big it was like a cavern. Wish we could have stayed more than one night! Would definitely stay again if we end up in Atlanta.

I stayed at the Georgian Terrace for a concert the fox theater was hosting. The pool was cool. The view from the roof was neat . Overall one of the coolest hotels I have ever stayed .

This hotel was all we could have asked for and more! Fantastic value in a safe location directly across from the Fox Theatre! My husband and I went here for part of our honeymoon. Staff was very nice and helpful. Our bellhop James was the best, super friendly and very helpful with the area. I'd differently go back.

There was paint peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom, the walpaper was cut and peeling in the bathroom and the bedroom. If the door to the bedroom was open, you couldn't open the front door. No blinds on the windows to keep out the light, so we woke up at 6:00 AM whether or not we wanted to. No coffee cups, no tissues, not enough towels or pillows, […] bed as soft and lumpy as a 20 year old couch. No hair dryer or shower cap. Single pain windows so all the street noises (10th floor) were very noticable. And they don't tell you that parking is not free. The staff were pleasant and hardworking but that's the best that can be said about the place. Les mer

If you are like me you do your research (pictures, finding nearby restaurants, things to do, etc). This hotel by research alone was amazing. So I booked a night. The best thing I could've done. I love the Georgian Terrace. It is my favorite place to stay in Atlanta, as it is not only a gorgeous hotel with a rich history, it is also convenient to all areas of the city. The staff is always friendly, and the new Livingston restaurant, Mim's Cafe, and Proof & Provision sports bar give the guest great options for on-site food and drink(s). Chef […] Z is passionate about his craft and does not hesitate to share knowledge with patrons (we had an informative discussion about different vinegar whilst enjoying a beverage at the P&P). The rooftop pool not only comes with a killer view, but it is a salt-water pool, which is kind on the eyes, hair and skin. The rooms are unique and always clean. On the last night of my recent stay, I left my iPhone in the cab coming back to the hotel. The bell hop went into ninja mode and my phone was back in my hand within minutes of realizing it was gone; MANY THANKS. Additionally, during my most-recent stay, my boyfriend proposed to me on the roof. I couldn't have asked for a better venue; this hotel will be in my heart forever. The room suite was fabulous with a beautifully appointed living area and separate kitchen. The staff was very helpful, friendly and eager. One BIG PLUS...you can park your own car, going in and out, very conveniently without using valet.

The hotel was ok. Could use some updating. The one bedroom wasn't as spacious as I expected it to be. The balcony is very small. Loved the service, valet parking and the view we had. Very clean. Very polite & curtious bellhop. The elevator is slower than a turtle, we had to walk up & down the steps the whole time of our stay from the 7th floor. Classic hotel, great location, excellent restaurant and staff. We were updraded to a 2 bedroom suite; however, the bed mattress was old and sagging in the center of the bed. For the price a 4 out of 5.

There was a wedding going on during my stay and a couple of prom night parties. The hotel staff was completely overwhelmed. All calls to concierge kept going to voice mail and only one elevator was working! We ordered breakfast one morning and had to call an hour and a half later inquiring about it. Disappointing stay to say the least.

For the past few years, I've gone to Atlanta for a visit to my favorite city in the US, and this is perfectly located in midtown. The rooms are very spacious and the staff are really great. Trust me, pay a little more and make your Atlanta stay better at the Georgian Terrace.

Very pleased with our stay. The hotel was beautiful, and the beds were luxurious - the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept on. I was sad to have to get up to leave the comfort of the bed the next morning. I would stay here again.

Absolutely great! Our room was available upon arrival and the keys were waiting for us at the desk. When I asked room service if they could deliver a pizza to the room about midnight, so that we would have it when we arrived home from a night out, they were very accomodating and indeed the pizza was in the room when we got back. Anything that could go wrong did. Elevators not working, bellman and coffee shop employees ornery, and a terribly outdated room. If you're to provide a full kitchen, you better either A) provide dishes or B) make it clear that you do not. There wasn't even a drinking glass. They're clearly resting on their reputation. The only problem we had on our stay was the elevators were out so we had to use the service elevator. Other than that the hotel was wonderful. We stayed there for the UofL championship games and the hotel was really nice, especially because it was on the street right where everything was going on. Nice location...

Overall great for the location, its reputation, amount of money paid & service level of the staff. Staff was completely professional, promptly greeted and even offered a larger bed if desired. Valet staff was very efficient & helpful. A lot of weddings are held here but not at all disturbing to guests. Room was clean overall (sans ice bucket that had […] dust on top and toilet didn't flush well). Downers were the pool was closed and the elevator badly in need of repair/renovation. Made the reservation in the afternoon. Went to the Braves game and then to the hotel. I couldn't get into the parking area. There was something going on and waited to park for 30 minutes in the middle of the road. Decided to drive the 3 hours home rather than wait any longer.

MY ROOM WAS SMALLER THAN WHAT I EXSPECTED. DID NOT HAVE A KING SIZE BED AS I WAS TOLD TO BE. THE PUB IN THE BASEMENT AS AGREAT BARTENDER.

overall the hotel was fine. the bar/restaurant area was quite nice. the bed, however, was as mushy as they come - not good if you like firm beds.

We stayed here for a change of scenery for our anniversary and it was great. Our room was upgraded to the bridal suit. Did not use any off the space but the view was beautiful from the 18th floor. We stayed at the Georgian Terrace prior to attending a play at the Fox Theater which is right across the street. Great hotel, very clean, enjoyed the stay. Amenities are excellent and the Livingston Restaurant is the place to eat!

We rented one of their one bedroom suites and found a clean large suite. The staff was very accommodating and prompt. We will stay again the next time we are in Atlanta. We felt the accommodations were well worth the price.

Upon checking in, everyone was very pleasant. Check-In was a breeze. When we arrived to my room with the bellman, we noticed that the entire window was out & on the floor next to one of the double beds. Yes, I said "double beds" even though I'd reserved a premier luxury suite. An engineer was called to fix the window, but we no longer felt safe in the […] space - we were on the 17th floor. This is a beautiful hotel! The manager provided us with a free room upgrade & allowed us to check in 2 hours early. The room was spacious & very clean. The hotel is located in the heart of downtown Atlanta with access to many restaurants & amenities within walking distance (ie: Fox Theater, coffee bars, & cafes). The suite was huge but looked like it hasn't been updated since the 70s. Water temperature was very hard to control, it went from cold to scalding hot with just a little movement of the knob.
