Dette var en oplevelse af de helt spesielle.Indehaver er en storsamler og har formået at indrette dette B&B som noget helt spesielt -unikt. Kan varmt anbefales hvis man ønsker lidt andre input på en ellers begivenhedsrig ferie.

"Very convenient to event I attended."
Except for location, this hotel could use some updating in bedding. The tub drain was clogged. This I reported to the front desk.
"Fit the need"
We had some issues with the room when we checked in, however they went out of the way to make sure we were satisfied. I would stay there again. Excelelnt location for Williamsburg activities
"Good Hotel for the money"
This hotel is right on Richmond Rd, close to all restaurants. Close to Busch Gardens, and other activities. Very clean, and not a bad continental breakfast if you are watching your pennies. Front desk,extremely nice, and helpful. Will choose this hotel again.
"Terrible Experience"
Room was dirty. First morning, got a call at 9 am asking us to leave so room could be serviced. Second day, forgot key and found out office was closed from noon until 5 PM. Had to go to another Days Inn to have them call owner who in turn called the manager so we could get into room. Got a lecture from the manager about calling number on the door with […] assumption that everyone has a cell phone. Really insulting experience. Les mer
"Showing wear-and-tear"
Pros: Convenient location, near plenty of restaurants, friendly desk clerks, lots of cable channels on TV, bargain rate Cons: Rooms are clean but dingy, and desperately needed an overhaul: chrome on the fixtures in the bathroom was almost worn/corroded away, carpet was old/stained, heating/AC unit was noisy and drafty. A crib requested at time of reservation […] was not in the room at check-in. Also had a noisy late-night partying neighbor next door, though can't blame the hotel for that! Les mer
"NIce location"
I really enjoyed my stay there. The staff was very nice and helpful. You couldn't beat the rates. Quiet. The only CON was that the room had a musty smell to it.
WE STAYED IN THE HOTEL WHILE WE WERE OUTLET SHOPPING. THE LOCATION WAS GREAT. THE BREAKFAST WAS GOOD AND THE STAFF WERE NICE. THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS THE BATHROOM. OUR TOILET WAS BROKEN AND WE HAD TO CHANGE ROOMS LATE IN THE NIGHT. THE NEW ROOM TOILET WORKED, BUT THE REST OF THE BATHROOM SEEMED MUSTY AND OLD. IT COULD STAND AN UPDATE. "Chose for the price"
Prime example of "you get what you pay for".....an older hotel in need of renovations. But, thought it was worth a shot. The staff was friendly. The room itself was clean but old in every aspect. It would have been worth another 10-15 dollars to stay in a better place. This area has too many choices to settle for this level of quality.

Very unsatisfied with the bathroom size, it was the size of a closet. The staff was rude, customer service training is definitely needed.
I got what I paid for! Saw a bug, but other than that the room was clean.

"Pictures not worth 1000 words"
I was a little disappointed with our stay. There was food left in the microwave & soda in a cup in the refigerator. There was a penny along with some hair on the bathroom floor. Pictures on the website must have been taken 20 years ago. We love Williamsburg, but I'll never stay there again. Sorry

This hotel is located in a great place, but I found the staff to be rude and the hotel generally dirty. If your looking for a cheap place to lay your head then this is it, but otherwise look else where.
"Trailer Park Hotel"
We arrived at the hotel around 10pm, the lobby was suppossed to be opened, it wasn't. The man said the computers were down. When I asked for an additional roll away bed he said that he couldn't find on because of the computer issue. So I wound up sleeping on the dirty floor, thankfully, I brought spare blankets. We woke up in the morning and I pulled […] back the blankets where my girls had been sleeping and there was blood on the sheets. Thankfully, they did not hold us to our reservation for the following night. Really gross, do not recommend. If you want to stay at a hotel that is about as clean as trailer park trash, this is what I would recommend. Otherwise, I would go elsewhere. Lesson Learned...I will definatly pay more for a hotel in the future. Les mer

"Day's Inn Central Williamsburg"
The staff was so unfriendly.The AC in the rooms barely worked.When we told them about the AC they said that were new and had been tested.The units were old and rusty.going.The pool was very dirty

The hotel front desk staff were very personal. I have never been greeted by my last name everytime I came to the lobby. The hotel location was excellent. Only concern is hotel needs to be updated.

hotel is close to all attractions and good restaurants. Continental breakfast had good choices. Hotel owner lives on site and very helpful with anything you need. I definently will stay there again.
The hotel was comfortable bed wise. The fridge did not work, the comode kept running, and the hair dryer didn't work. I went to the front desk about these problems and they told me they would send someone to check it out. As of Friday. July 23rd the day of our departure no one fixed any of the problems. The hotel was a central location for all must-see […] sights. At check-in, I encountered a desk manager who wanted my credit card even though I had a printed confirmation paper for times and reservation number. Les mer
"Will never stay here again...."
Our housekeeper did a good job. Hotel is very convenient in location but that is completely it. I am usually not picky, but we opened our room door and the smell was horrible. The place reaked of mildew. The second night, our air conditioner broke and we were burning up all night long (we had driven 12 hours and had an dr's appt and this was the night […] before). I very kindly called to the front desk the next morning to tell them the situation and the man kept rudely cutting me off...never apologized once for the fact I was up all night long and acted like I was an inconvenience. At 4:00pm, I came back to room and AC was dismantled and laying on floor. It was intact later that night, but never got as cold as before. The next day the knob broke off and our room kept getting warmer. The last night, the unit started making LOUD buzzing sounds, waking me up in the middle of the night and the unit finally completely broke again. Not worth the time or trouble to even mention since we were leaving. The pool is very basic and the green type carpet around the pool is torn and worn. Hotel staff is not very friendly. This hotel is extremely basic, no perks at all other than location. Would NOT stay here again. Les mer

The room i reserved was not available.The room door did not work right.The room was filthy and the shower was clogged and the water was up to your ankles.The room was not serviced everyday and was not up to date.
"Close to resturants and to outlets"
Overall, the rooms were very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only problem was that the bathroom was too small. I could not close the door because I was afraid that I would lose oxygen. If a suggestion can be made it would be to expand the bathroom. My stay here was great and I would recommend it again for the price.
"Very Disappointed"
Upon entering our room, it had a very stale odor and was not very clean. The carpet was filthy and it was obvious that they only vacuumed the walking path, not around the furniture. The furniture and bathroom were very dusty. The bathroom door didn't latch and we had to put a cooler in front of the door to keep our 18 month old out of the bathroom. […] The sink drained very slowly. We asked if we could be moved to another room and were told that they were booked up but would have maintenance come by to look at the door and sink, however, the parking lot remained half empty all night. Maintenance didn't show up until a few minutes before check-out the next day. We had packed up our stuff and gone to breakfast and left the Do Not Disturb sign in the door as we wanted to come back to the hotel for a bathroom break before heading out. While we were gone maintenance removed the DND sign and entered our room. Upon leaving they did not replace the DND sign and housekeeping proceeded to clean our room and turn off our door keys. When we returned we were not able to get back into our room and had to request that housekeeping unlock our door. The pool area was covered in outdoor carpet that was almost black with dirt or mold. Overall, we were very unhappy with our experience and will not be staying in this hotel again or recommending it to anyone! Les mer

Rooms a little smaller than expected, as well as bathroom with a moldy smell. But for the time spent and purpose. Good location as for shopping. In all, It was okay.
"Okay for the price"
The room needed some maintenance on the bathroom and carpet. Complimentary breakfast was moderate in scale, but served the purpose of starting the day. We got what we paid for, and it was okay just to sleep for a couple of nights.

The staff was not particularly friendly, but my room and reservation were in order when I arrived. The cleaning staff walked in on me as I stepped out of the shower. . .bolt and chain the door. Wi-Fi in the room had a good signal and the other guests were quiet. Breakfast was limited but good.

We were very disappointed with th room when we arrived. Not as we expected at all. Carpet was stained, bathroom very small, the 2 beds were like a twin size, bathroom stained, wall paper peeling. We called the front desk to see if a king room was available but it was very late and they had noting left but they did tell us to check back in the morning […] and that they would try their best to accomodate us. We just decided that we weren't going to be there that long we were just sleeping there and we would deal with the room. It was clean just a lot of stains, small beds, and a small bathroom. We are so glad that we did pick that hotel and dealt with the room it was worth it. The staff was EXCEPTIONAL!! They went above and beyond. We can not describe how appreciative we are for the staff. They helped us so much. They got us a cab, someone to fix our car, helped us to get parts, gave us a late checkout. So helpful. It was really nice. Not many people would have gone out of their way like they did. Again we are so thankful for them. Wonderful People!!! The free breakfast was pretty good and the coffee was too. (Coffee in the room was awful =).) It was very nice to have a microwave and refrigerator in the room. The pool looked very nice but it closed at 10 so we didn't get a chance to try it out. There is so much to do around the hotel. Ripley's Believe It or Not, Busch Gardens, Go Karts Plus, Prime Outlets, etc. Lot's of good places to eat. Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Captain George's Seafood Buffet, PizzaHut, IHOP, etc. So many things to choose from. Auto Parts Store nearby ;o). WalMart. At first we thought we picked the wrong hotel but we are so glad that we picked the one that we did. Thank you to the amazing staff!! Les mer
"The hotel in williamburgh VA"
The hotel was in a great location. My son and I traveled there to look a the area we will be moving there in a few months. The room was huge and the beds were very soft. The pool was vey refreshing on the very hot days. Fresh towel every day and the maid service was friendly. The only thing was the air worked a little too well.

"Days Inn Central In Williamburg"
This was a nice place to stay for our vacation, pool was clean and refreshing, and the Continental Breakfast was well done. Staff was always friendly and accomodating. I would recommend it if looking to stay at a decent place on a budget!

The Hotel room was very small and the bathroom wasn't big enough to turn around it. The room could have been cleaner. Not what I expected for the area. Would not recommned. The hotel rooms look very old.
"Short Stay"
I usually stay in higher priced hotels, however since it was such a short stay I thought I was picking the best of the worst, but it was probably the worst of the worst for me. The room had a funny smell, it made me go out and spray everything down with lysol. This hotel is adequate, if your not looking for anything grand. The pool was nice and heated […] the kids loved it. I recommend this hotel for those that just want some where to sleep and are not to worried about how nice it is. Les mer

You can take this review literallly. I am very hard to please. You will enjoy your stay here. The staff was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. There is plenty to do and eat in either direction of the hotel. The room was very clean as was the pool. My only complaint is the BATHROOM SIZE. Less than 50 inches from the door […] to the bathtub and the toilet sits in the space between! If you don't need much room in the bathroom, this is the place for you. Les mer

"Great location, but rooms are not clean"
The location was great. It is about half way between the Williamsburg Pottery and Colonial Williamsburg. But the room was not vacuumed when we arrived, nor during our stay. We wanted to return to our room one day to rest, but at 3pm our room still had not been cleaned. We were disappointed in the hotel.
"Two good nights rest"
I was pleased with the room. It was in a great location. I am one who only uses a motel to shower and sleep, so it met all my expectations. It was clean and the staff kept it neat. The beds were very comfortable, and they even have three pillows on each bed in varying degrees of hardness. One was just right! I will be staying there in the future if […] it remains this way. My only complaint was that they never left extra tissues or toilet paper in the room. Considering 4 people were in the room, I should not have had to ask for extra toilet paper every day. Otherwise the hotel was ok for the money. Bathroom is very small.
