Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Miami-Hialeah -Miami Lake - Hialeah

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable! The breakfast did not have enough selctions. There was no meat and no fruit, just sweet pastry which I cannot eat and mushy scrambled eggs. Bacon and a hard boiled egg would have been awesome!! If they just improved the breakfast, this would be a really great place to stay.

The staff is accommodating and helpful. Our room was OK. Nothing to write home about. The bed was uncomfortable. The traffic from the Palmetto is loud. They even allow 18-wheelers to park at night....running.

Very happy with price and location. Stayed here prior to boarding cruise ship. Only 20 minutes fro downtown, right by thru way. Great breakfast too.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and it is one of the best place in Miami. Very comfort bed, clean bathroom and shower great. Very good food served for morning.

The location of the hotel for my business meeting was great, the staff was courteous, and the morning breakfast was decent. The mattress and pillows were not comfortable at all and made for a rough night of sleep

Front desk staff are unfriendly, unhelpful, and rude. The printer in the business center didn't have ink and the didn't even try to fix it. WiFi is very weak and works inconsistently. Tile was missing in the bathroom. Nice location with restaurants and stores nearby.

Hotel staff not very friendly. However, the room and hotel, and grounds were very clean and well maintained. Since this was priced through Hotels.com it was a reasonable charge. If it had been booked through Holiday INN, it would have been over priced. The first time finding at the hotel, one can easily go pass the turns to the hotel; also there are 2 gates - the open one has a tiny sign and the visible one is locked! Room is fine but the shower kept leaking water all over the floor and the antiquated toilet with huge tank flushes so poorly. Room has pillows with labels (Firm, Soft) which is a nice […] touch. Was very pleasant. Great access to major highway. Nice swimming pool and nice in house gym.

Excellent value for your money with friendly, courteous staff who are extremely helpful. Most impressed at the fact that my telephone was not working and as soon as I called on my cell and reported it, a technician was at the door to deal with the problem which was only something minor. Now that is what I consider service .

Front Desk personnel are both friendly and most helpful. Went out of their way to ensure that we enjoyed our stay and recommended an excellent taxi service that we used on a daily basis. They offered good advice on a number of topics too. Was pleasantly suprised by this hotel. When I booked room it was a little bit out of Miami and it had cheaper rates than most other hotels. I figured it was in less desirable part of Miami. It exceeded my expectations. Staff was extremely nice and helpful with all. Hot breakfast was good each morning. from the checkin all was smiles and staff appeared to knowedeable in their area, Breakast was very good a good variety for adults and kids including fresh friuts, rooms was clean and beds were comfortable for a peaceful night rest. Security was always my atmost prioty and security presents was visible day and night.

Front desk employees were not that friendly. Room had a dirty pillow case shoved in the open dresser. Ceiling had hundreds of hanging fuzz balls. Wake up call late first day, non existent on second day, and didn't bother on the third. Breakfast late to be put out both Saturday and Sunday.

Stayed in jacuzzi suite...room was very nice. Front desk was super friendly. The only thing I would suggest is to take the stairs because the elevators are noisy and make you feel like you are gonna get stuck...definitely need to be replaced!

We had a very good experience with this hotel great location especially when your in an area you don't know . we would recommend this hotel if your going to miami. everyone was very nice and the price was good the rooms were nice and clean.

As a forever Floridian, but my first time to Miami, I was nervous about staying in the "wrong part" of Miami. This area is right off the intrastate, and while it's not Boca Raton, the hotel property is big enough to provide it's own nice, safe feeling. Very well lit and a security guard outside.
