Det var noe lite det først rommet vi leide, men så byttet vi tilet annet og det var ok Fin kantine/resturant. Altfor dyrt med internett-tilgang,10dollar for 24 timer, på kafeene rett utenfor var det gratis!!!

Vi fikk først et rom langt nede med utsikt til en mørk og stygg bakgård. Etter klage fikk vi rom neten på toppen med fin utsikt og terrasse mot baksiden. Alle rom på forsiden har havneutsikt men uten terrasse. Ok hotell med super beliggenhet ved Darling Harbour der de fleste sightseeingbåter går fra.

Probably the best hotel experience I've ever experienced. I stayed in the Horizon Premier Grand Harbour View Room (corner room) at the 33rd floor. This hotel has 36 floors. I wanted my last day in Sydney to be remarkable so I booked a night at this hotel. The service I received was below my expectations. The room had several items of furniture that were broken an or chipped. When I booked the room I chose a room with Darling harbor view, instead I had a tool charge and a busy motorway right in front of my bed! So close […] I could actually read the number plates. I accidentally broke a glass in the bathroom and I asked a member of their staff to clear the broken glasses.... And the answer was that someone else would do it because this person was very busy. In the end I had to do it myself. Next time I shall look into alternative 5* accommodation. Les mer

In the bathroom, the bottles of shampoo and bath gel had been used and not replaced and there was a used cake of soap on the basin.

This is a hotel where you are treated as a true guest, really excellent service. The location is superb, best views on Harbour Bridge and the Opera House.

Beautiful hotel, beautiful city. But, on the hottest day on record (43C with oppressive humidity), one couldn't get into their bar with toeless shoes! Remarkable.

The hotel itself and all staff were excellent, informative and pleasant but the walk from Circular Quay to the hotel is not suitable for people with limited mobility as it is a steep hill. Definately would recommend hotel.

"Decent, but a bit pricey for what it is"
Pros -- Room was clean and comfortable. View was beautiful. Walking distance to some good bars and restaurants, as well as some shopping. Awesome bar on the top floor (though drinks are ~$20 a pop and it closes pretty early). Concierge support was fantastic. Cons -- Internet service went in-and-out (even ethernet). "Shangri-La, great rooms, terrible room service"
The Shangri-La Sydney had fantastic rooms with beautiful views of Sydney Harbour. The only let-down is the room service menu which is rediculously expensive and the food we ordered was of a poor standard, was delivered late and was cold. Overall, great hotel, just don't eat there!

"Great hotel and location"
This hotel was wonderful...great location near the rocks, circular quay and within walking distance all around town. The hotel room was great and the service there was the best. Highly recommend staying here if you get a chance, for sure we will be back to stay.

My husband and I had stayed at this site when it was an ANA hotel, and were very pleased with its location and relative price value. It is still the same excellent property now that it is a Shangri La, and I shall return to it whenever in Sydney. From front desk staff, to the concierge desk, to the housekeepers and maintenance people, all set the example […] of the best that Australia has to offer. My only surprise was that on check-in, my credit card had a $100 per day hold put on it for incidentals. Although I can understand this practice, it should have been explained to me at the time of check-in, and it was not. My sister and I thank everyone there for a wonderful stay. Les mer

"Fantastic staff"
Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends. We stayed 6 nights and on the morning of checkout our 4 year old son got an ear infection. The hotel recommended a fantastic doctor who even went to the trouble of contacting the airlines and got them to agree to change our flights back to San Francisco without a change fee. The hotel was also able to […] put us back in our same room for 3 more nights and the receiption desk even sent our son a hand made get well card and Shagri-la Kangaroo. The only slight negative for this hotel would be the number of stairs from Circular Quay if you are older or have a stroller, but not a problem if you are relatively fit. Les mer

We enjoyed the great views from our east facing room overlooking the Opera House and Circular Quay. The room and bed was very comfortable. We were a little disappointed that complimentary biscuits weren't provided on arrival to go with a cup of tea. Staff were very helpful and courteous. The hotel met all my expectations, the room was excellent, the staff were friendly and attentive, breakfast was cooked to order by friendly chefs and the view from the clubhouse lounge was stunning. The clubhouse staff (Jerry et al) were fantastic and made the best Bloody Mary's ever!

our stay at the shangril la was excellent. we got an early check-in which was the best part as we were tired after a long flight. the rooms feel fresh. the service is also v. good. the location is excellent, walkable to main places. overall experience was very very good.

The hotel location is perfect as it is right near to the circular quay train and ferry station which is central to most tourist things in Sydney i.e. The opera house, sydney habour bridge. We stayed in the ocean harbour view room so we had excellent views of the opera house. It was so nice we didn't even want to leave the hotel. The hotel had a great location, with views of the Harbor Bridge and the Sydney Opera House from our room. Although people complain about the steep walk up the hill to walk back to the hotel, there are roundabout ways to get there that also get you around the Rocks area. Horizon Club is definitely recommended, as the service and views are top-notch. "La classe sans a priori"
Nous avons aimé le fait d'être accueillit comme tout le monde car nous étions deux jeunes avec des gros sac a dos de Backpacker, on ne présentait pas super bien par rapport au standing de l'hotel mais ils n'ont fait aucune différence et ça c'était très appréciable sinon l'hotel est très bien dans son ensemble, rien a redire.

Dobrou polohu v centru Sydney s pěší docházkou k největším atrakcím města kazí jen jeho poloha na kopci, kdy po celodenním chození po Sydney musíte vyšlapat několik desítek schodů, nebo po chodníku do velkého kopce. 到着時の部屋は８階でしたが、もう少し高いフロアへの変更を申し出ると、１６階へ変更して頂けました。希望していた喫煙ルームが禁煙となりましたが、景色重視だったので満足です。 アーリーチェックインの申し込みはしていませんでしたが、随分早くても部屋に通してもらえたし、チェックアウト後も快く荷物を預かってもらえたので助かりました。 フロントの女性は少し冷たい感じでしたが、男性はとっても優しい。日本語は全く通じません。 近隣のフォーシーズンズにも宿泊しましたが、眺めはそんなに変わりません。どちらかというと、シャングリラの方が広く見渡せて良いかも。利便性と接客、ホテル全体の雰囲気で比べると、わたしはフォーシーズンズの方が好きです。シャングリラは駅からの坂が結構きついです。 でも、フルハーバービュールームと […] してはこちらのほうが素晴らしいです！！ ちなみに。アジア・マイル対象ホテルですが、こちらのサイト経由ではマイル非対象とのことでした。 Les mer

홍콩(아일랜드)과 싱가폴의 샹그릴라호텔을 이용해봤음. 이번 시드니 샹그릴라 이용 경험은 최악이었음. 호텔 위치는 주요지역에 인접하여 매우 괜찮음. 컨시어지에서 추천해준 주변 식당들 역시 상당히 쓸만했음. 컨시어지의 Nick과 Phil에게 감사! 그러나 리셉션 데스크 쪽의 일처리는 최악. 요금을 추가로 내고 4시에 late check-out 하기로 했으나, 마지막에 리셉셥이 방이 없다고 말을 바꾸는 바람에 우리 일정이 완전 망가짐. 리셉션의 말에 따르면 다른 손님이 check-in하기로 하여 우리가 late check-out할 수 없다고 했는데,,, 손님이 late check-out하기로 한 상황에 다른 손님을 받는게 정상적인 […] 영업인지...도저히 이해가 안됨.
