Nice place to stay al nights. If you are willing to enjoy facilities; better find something else

This is a nice hotel if you do not mind if it is not sanitary. It appeared that it was once nice maybe 30 years ago however they promised a pool yet did not have one. The good thing was that hotel.com apologized and quickly changed our reservation to a very nice hotel without trouble.

I was very pleased with location of the hotel in relation to the Federal Reserve Bank. The lobby and room were very clean and comfortable, beds were very nice with lots of pillows, and parking was close, easy and plentiful. I would highly recommend and would stay here again. Thank you.

After waiting 1.3 hours for the shuttle from the MIA airport to HIX Doral (and seeing the "Miami Springs" HIX shuttle go past 4 times), I called home to Colorado to get the hotel phone number (none printed on the 4-page Hotels.com reservation...and no phone book around). The front desk told me it was not operating tonight...and to take a taxi the 7 […] miles! Fortunately, they did reimburse me for the fee (minus the tip)... but I'll be staying elsewhere between flights in the future... Les mer

Excellent hotel just don't feel comfortable with staff speaking to each other in a language I don't Know while iam standing there getting service

This is my third time in this hotel. Very well located, for my purposes. But my room, 401 smells terrible!!!!!! Not refrigerator, we have to ask for it, the shower was broke, they have to fix it, the air conditioner, works deficiently. So far, the hotel is geting old, but still a good choice. Everything was taken care of, i just walked in gave them my name and in less than 3 minutes i received my room. I have stayed for one night, and it was a nice stay. i forgot my toothpaste and brush but they had a backup for free. Breakfast was also a good point. I will stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay at Ramada Inn Express. The room room was very nice, clean and comfortable and found the hotel staff members to be extremely courteous, friendly and helpful. The quality of the room was excellent and the front office staff were friendly. My expectations were a bit higher from what I met in terms of overall service. But my partner reminded me that's it's an "Express" hotel and for our overnight stay, I guess it served its purpose. The hotel appeared a bit short staffed as the front office team was also responsible […] for pick up/drop off at MIA. GOOD LOCATION, NEAR AIRPORT AND QUICK FREEWAYS, GOOD BREAKFAST, CLEAN AND MODERN ROOMS.

Hotel was very clean, beds were comfortable, and the staff was very friendly.

This hotel is very nice and clean, the rooms was clean and the pool. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was very convient, and was close to everything i needed. I will recommend Holiday Inn Express to my family and friends. and im not just saying this, I mean it.

The frontdesk attendand (a man) help us very nice. We where late and he give us places that we still can eat at that hour (01.00 am). He was very helpfull.

Close to the airport, restaurants and major highways. Friendly staff, good breakfast but limited parking when the hotel is full.

Very pleasant one night stay. Very close to all of the amenities - shopping, dining etc. as well as the airport. A good experience.

Worst hotel to stay....Worst service and rooms....We have a convention and a group going to that town....Will definately not recommend.

Was visiting family down the street and this was around the corner. Very nice rooms, clean, and the free breakfast was great. Quick check in and check out.

Hotel was very clean, newer hotel. Room was well laid out, all amenities anyone could need were available. Decent hot breakfast. Took awhile to get to from the airport. 5 minute walk to Johnny Carinos for dinner ( Boston Market beyond that), no other dinner options available. Free shuttle to/from airport was nice. I stay at other HIEX a lot as i travel for business - this was a pre-cruise stay and was a nightmare from the begininng. We waited an HOUR at the airport for the free shuttle, the young man driving apologized and was VERY nice, Edgar - thank you - you were the only positive thing about this stay. On the way back to the hotel the shuttle van started […] to die, the lights quit, the AC shut off and as we pulled in - it DIED!! Our room was fine, comfortable but the air would not turn down so it felt warm. There is nothing near the hotel but in a short walk we were able to eat so that was fine but there was nothing to buy soda or items to bring on the ship - we paid $7.00 for a 12pack of soda at the gas stop. We went to bed and there was a LOUD clang in the walls about every 6-7minutes - i finally called after 30 min and was told it was pipes in the wall and there was nothing they could do. They did offer to move us however my husband was asleep and our belongings were all over so that was not worth it but appreciated. I did get a pair of earplugs! HOWEVER at 5am i was woken up by a loud crash on the wall behind my head and then screaming - i realized quickly that the people in the next room were fighting,screaming and breaking things all over - i called the front desk and told them they may want to call the police!! For the next 90min it was complete chaos - 4 squad cars, SCREAMING officers, breaking crap in the halls fighting with these idiots....instead of just grabbing them and leaving - they stayed there and fought with them....at this point it was time to get up and i was ready to LEAVE this hotel!! We checked out and there was NOT even an apology for the incident, nothing offered to us or anything - i was amazed and the lack concern. We went downstairs to get our PRE-ARRANGED shuttle and when the time came and went by 30min....i asked and they said that the shuttle company forgot us so they called again. The Hotel overall was ok. Nothing exceptional. Staff was very friendly and the hot breakfast in the morning was fantastic. However, the room was not clean, gloomy and bed was very uncomfortable. In addition the television only offered roughly 10 channels. Would I stay there again. Probably not would much rather spend the extra money and stay someplace […] else. Les mer

Staff were very pleasant and the room was large and comfortable. Restaurants and pharmacy within walking distance.

Upon arrival to MIA we contacted the hotel regarding pick up and were told where to wait. The person said they would let the driver know we were there. After 45mins we called back and were told that due to heavy traffice the driver was delayed returning from the previous run. They suggested we take a taxi. We chose this hotel because of it location […] and the fact taht it had a shuttle. Approximately 2hrs after arrival the van arrived and we were taken to the hotel. While the traffice was heavy it wasn't grid lock and the hotel is only 3 miles from the terminal. The rest of the stay was uneventful and the staf was very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again, but will consider the transportation as hit or miss. Les mer

The cost does not justify the room. The beds are uncomfortable and dirty. There was hair in the sheets. tile floors were dirty. tv remote was oily. shower drained very slowly resulting in the tub holding water during shower. not a lot of attention to detail.

We stayed here the night before leaving on a cruise. The hotel shuttle picked us up at Miami airport. They also provided shuttle to port for a reasonable fee. Hotel is clean. Staff is helpful and it's in a nice area of town. I would recomend anyone to stay here.

It was a worthwhile stay for the price. We would stay there again.

I was there for 3 nights for business in Doral so the ubication is perfect there! Regarding the rooms, clean, basic and all you would excpect for a budget hotel. Breakfast shouldn't be offerd though as this is really poor. For the price you get what you pay for so I can't complain.

The room was nice and clean. However, the water had a funny smell to it. The air-conditioner in the room was so cold that we could not sleep comfortable, we called front desk, who made someone come up to look at it. The problem was not fixed for the room would be either too cold or too hot if we put the the air on a little warmer and it also smelled […] like something was burning at times in the room from the air-conditioning. We did not get a follow up call to ask if everything was fine so just tryed our best to deal with it. The hot foods for breakfast was horrible, the scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage was awful. The cold food such as muffins, dunuts and cereal was good. There was free internet but it was very very slow. Location was good and in a clean area, However, I would say it was more of a 2 star hotel and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone under these conditions. Les mer

My wife and I stayed at 3 different hotels in Miami and only at this hotel did we feel so "at home". Upon arrival we were picked up by a very friendly hotel employee who drove us to the hotel from the airport. Complimentary pick up, complimentary wi-fi, and free breakfast in the morning made it definitely worth the price!

I paid for a King room one week in advance. On arrival, they had sold my room and downsized me to a queen room. As it was after 1030PM, I could not leave and find another hotel. No apology and absolutley a DO NOT CARE attitude. I will never stay here again!

Horrible shower with no shower curtain with resulting very slippery floor. Poor service at front desk. Restaurant ran out of hot breakfast food. No hand/body lotion.

For the price paid , it is a decent hotel that you should consider. The staff was helpful and very nice.

The bet was too firm for my tastes, the rug looked like it had never been vacuumed, I was pretty sure I found a bug in the room, and the TV's were outdated. Wasn't really all that happy with this choice, but for the money, it was a good deal and I can't complain that much.
